Israeli military intercepts suspected drone from Yemen
Shafaq News – Tel Aviv Israel's military said on Wednesday it had intercepted a drone believed to have been launched from Yemen, without it entering Israeli airspace or triggering alarms. 🔴اعترض سلاح الجو قبل قليل طائرة مسيرة أطلقت كما يبدو من اليمن. المسيرة لم تخترق الاجواء الاسرائيلية ولم يتم تفعيل انذارات — افيخاي ادرعي (@AvichayAdraee) June 25, 2025 Israeli Channel 12 also reported the interception, confirming the drone originated from Yemen and was heading toward Israel. The announcement came a day after Adel Rajeh, a member of the Executive Committee of Anti-Aggression Parties affiliated with the Houthis (Ansarallah), reiterated Yemen's stance in support of Gaza. Rajeh said Yemen's commitment to what he described as resisting "ongoing American and Israeli aggression" would persist. 'The support pathway is ongoing. The air and sea blockade remains in place,' he said, adding that 'the coming days will witness an escalation in military operations until the aggression on Gaza ends and the siege is fully lifted.' Since October 2023, Yemen's Houthi forces have launched several military operations targeting Israel, positioning them as part of a broader regional campaign in solidarity with Gaza.

Yemen's Houthis reaffirm 'unwavering stance' on Gaza
Shafaq News/ On Tuesday, Yemen's Houthi-aligned Coalition of Anti-Aggression Political Parties reaffirmed the country's commitment to supporting Gaza amid what it described as 'continued Israeli and US assault.' Speaking to Shafaq News, Adel Rajeh, a member of the coalition's executive committee, described Yemen's backing for Gaza as an 'unwavering stance' adopted by Yemen's leadership, represented by Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, and widely shared by both the armed forces and the broader population. He also warned that the current path of military and logistical support would continue, with air and maritime restrictions remaining in effect. 'An escalation in military activity should be expected in the coming days as part of efforts to secure a full halt to the aggression on Gaza and the lifting of the imposed blockade.' The announcement comes amid a series of cross-border attacks from Yemen in recent months, with Houthi forces operating in the context of the ongoing war in Gaza, where Israeli hostilities have resulted in 55,998 deaths, the majority of them women and children.

Houthis vow deeper strikes into Israel in retaliation for regional attacks
Shafaq News/ Yemen plans to escalate its military campaign in response to Israeli operations across the region, a senior figure aligned with the Houthis (Ansarallah) revealed on Saturday. Adel Rajeh, a member of the Justice and Development Party's Central Committee, told Shafaq News that Yemen remains the 'most active front supporting Gaza,' frequently launching missiles and drones toward Israeli targets. 'More advanced weapons will soon strike deeper inside Israeli territory in retaliation for attacks on Gaza, Iran, Lebanon, and Syria,' Rajeh warned. He said that Sanaa has partially imposed an aerial and naval blockade on Israel, complicating its defense strategy, adding that Israeli warships targeted Yemeni ports to disrupt Houthi drone operations. Rajeh acknowledged a 'temporary lull' from other Iran-aligned factions such as Hezbollah and Iraqi factions but asserted they remain active and will soon take more visible action. 'Yemen will play a pivotal role in delivering precise and impactful strikes against the Zionist entity [Israel] using advanced systems,' he declared, positioning the country as a key force in the regional conflict with Israel.
