NEW DELHI: Bharti Airtel on Tuesday launched new affordable prepaid packs bundled with over-the-top (OTT) platforms, with prices starting from ₹279 per month, in a bid to drive customer stickiness, data consumption on its mobile networks, and increase its average revenue per user (ARPU). 'With access to an industry-leading portfolio of 25+ top OTT platforms —including Netflix, JioHotstar, Zee5 and SonyLiv — Airtel is the only telco in India offering such an extensive entertainment experience,' the telco said. The ₹279 Airtel prepaid pack offers 1 month validity with Netflix Basic , Zee5, JioHotstar, and Airtel Xstream Play Premium, can be subscribed to from the Airtel Xstream Play application, or via prepaid content-only packs. The ₹598 and the ₹1,729 prepaid data bundles with unlimited 5G and unlimited calls offer Netflix Basic, Zee5, JioHotstar, and Airtel Xstream Play Premium, and come with a validity of 28 days and 84 days, respectively. 'Customers can now access wide variety of TV shows, blockbuster movies, and documentaries from leading OTT platforms such as Netflix, JioHostar, Zee5, SonyLiv, LionsgatePlay, AHA, SunNxt, Hoichoi, ErosNow, and ShemarooMe, among others, all through a single pack,' Airtel said.
