Salma Abu Deif Teams Up with Diab for First Time in TV Series "Beng Koli"
Yara Sameh Egyptian actress Salma Abu Deif is joining hands with actor-singer Diab for the first time in the TV series "Beng Koli". The 15-episode drama is written by Mohamed Soliman Abdelmalek, directed by Nadine Khan, and produced by Abdallah Abu El Fettouh. Abu Deif made her latest appearance on the small screen in the 2024 TV series "Aala Nesbet Moshahda" (Highest Viewership), and Diab in the TV series "Alby We Moftaho." Moreover, Abu Deif is reuniting with Ahmed Dawood in 'Azma,' a film based on iconic author Mohamed Sadek's 2020 novel, which has been a bestseller for years. Rising actress Jessica Hossam Eldin is also set to star in the pic. The adaptation marks the third collaboration between Abu Deif and Dawood after the 2020 TV series 'Zienhom' and the 2022 high-end Arabic remake of 'Suits'. It is scripted by Sadek, who will make his feature directorial debut with the upcoming project, and is set to be produced by Hany Osama's The Producers. Abu Deif will be seen next in the long-awaited sequel to ' Hepta: The Last Lecture '. The pic also stars Mohamed Mamdouh, Menna Shalaby, Karim Fahmy, Asmaa Galal, Karim Kassem, Mayan El Sayed, Hassan Malek, and Gihan El Shamashergy. Prominent director Hady El Bagory and screenwriter Mohamed Sadek reunited for a sequel. The script is penned from a story by Sadek, who co-wrote the pic alongside Mohamed Galal. Born on February 2, 1993, Abu Deif began her acting career at age 20 as an editorial model whilst attaining a bachelor's degree in Mass Communication at Misr International University. She also studied at Stella Adler acting studio in New York for the summer Conservatory. In 2017, Abu Deif made her first television appearance as an actress in two of the biggest TV Ramadan series, "Halawet EL Donia" and "Lah Totfea EL Shams". Shortly after, Abu Deif made her first film appearance in the critically acclaimed Egyptian film 'Sheikh Jackson' that has taken part in numerous International Film Festivals around the world, garnering international attention for the impressive, yet controversial nature of the film. Asser Yassin Joins Hend Sabry in "Dam ala Nahd" TV adaptation
Yara Sameh Egyptian actor Asser Yassin will once again team up with Tunisian actress Hend Sabry in the upcoming TV adaptation of writer and journalist Ibrahim Eissa's latest novel 'Dam ala Nahd." It marks the first collaboration between the two stars on the small screen and their second in 18 years after the 2007 film "'El Gezira." Mariam Ahmadi is directing the series from a script being adapted by Mohamed Hesham Obeya. "Dam ala Nahd" consists of 15 episodes and is produced by Sadek Al-Sabah. The novel follows Mai El Gebali, who had no idea that her exclusive interview with the "butcher" before his execution would turn her life upside down. With each meeting with the "butcher", he reveals secrets he never confessed before during the investigations. Along the way, El Gebali begins to question everything she'd previously believed in, disrupts her relationships, and puts her life in danger. Yassin was recently seen in the TV series "Alby We Moftaho" and Sabry in the hit Netflix TV series "Finding Ola" Season 2. Yassin, born February 25, 1981, began his career on the stage at the American University in Cairo. He was spotted by Director Khairy Beshara to play his first role in the 2006 TV series "Qalb Habiba", followed by the blockbuster "The Yacoubian Building" in 2007, and landed his first major role in a film "Zay El Naharda" in the following year. In the same year, he got his big break playing a leading role in the film "El Waad" (The Promise), starring opposite legendary actor and superstar Mahmoud Yassin. Mai Ezz Eldin to Make Big Screen Comeback after 13-Year Hiatus
Yara Sameh Egyptian actress Mai Ezz Eldin is gearing up to make a comeback to the big screen after 13 years of absence. She made her last onscreen appearance in the 2012 film 'Game Over', which featured a starry cast that included Yousra, Ezzat Abu Ouf, Mohamed Nour,and Eman Al Sayyed. Ezz Eldin was recently seen in the romance-drama TV series " Alby We Moftaho ". The cast also stars Asser Yassin, Aida Reyad, Ashraf Abdel Baky, Samaa Ibrahem, Ahmed Khaled Saleh, Diab, and more. Tamer Mohsen directed the series from a script he co-wrote with Maha El Wazir. Mediahub is the studio behind the drama. The drama consisted of 15 episodes and marked the first collaboration between Yassin and Ezz Eldin. "Alby We Moftaho" was screened during the Ramadan 2025 drama marathon. Ezz Eldin, born on January 19, 1980, in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, studied sociology at the Faculty of Arts in Alexandria. In 2001, she learned that famous singer Mohamed Fouad was looking for a new face to star opposite him in his film 'Rehlet Hob' (A Love Journey), she took the risk and asked director Mounir Radi— who was a friend of the family— to introduce her to Mouhamed El Nagar the director of the film. El Nagar found in her a fresh pretty face and talent that they were searching for, in turn, he introduced her to Fouad who gave her first leading role. Ezz Eldin's second appearance was in the TV series 'Ayna Qalbi' (Where is My Heart) co-starring veteran Egyptian actress Yousra, which shot her to stardom. She boosted her career with El Sobky Production films "Kalam Mama" and the rom-com franchise 'Omar & Salma' co-starring Tamer Hosny. Her film credits also include "Farah", "Khiana Mashroaa", and "Habibi Na'eman".
