GC Baseball: Frost earns All-District awards
FROST — Frost's Polar Bears had a strong season on the baseball diamond this spring and two players were named to the All-District First-Team and two earned All-District Second-Team honors. Jake Weil earned All-District First-Team honors as an infielder and Connor Hammonds earned First-Team honors as a catcher. Gavin Clayton and Ried King each earned Second-Team honors as infielders, and Brady Martin and J.C. Woods were named to the All-District Honorable Mention list. Lukas Rasco

Howland standout signs to play in college
HOWLAND, Ohio (WKBN) – Howland standout Grace Villwock officially signed to continue her soccer career in the college ranks at John Carroll University. A signing ceremony was held at Howland High School on Wednesday. Villwock, a four-year letter winner for the Tigers, earned All-Conference honors for three consecutive years. 'Every coach wishes to have a player like Grace on their team,' Howland head coach Greg Mitchell said. 'Her speed, tireless work ethic, and competitiveness make her stand out on the field. These attributes are only further emboldened by her positive demeanor, kindness, unembellished sportsmanship, and a team-first mentality. Her success over her four years can certainly be attributed to these characteristics—not only as a player but, more importantly, as a person.'
