Sabrina Carpenter's 'Manchild' nails are everywhere — here's how to get the look for less at Myer

In a music video packed with campy retro fashion, bubblegum pink convertibles and more sass than a full performance at one of her shows, Sabrina Carpenter's 'Manchild' video has delivered the manicure of the season. While fans can't stop quoting her lyrics (and plotting how to score a Chanel scarf and a toy poodle), beauty lovers have been laser-focused on Sabrina's nails — a playful, soft glam take on vintage polka dot polish that perfectly matches the music video's tongue-in-cheek aesthetic. The artist behind the now-iconic set? Zola Ganzorigt. If the name rings a bell, that's because Zola is the creative force behind Hailey Bieber's viral 'glazed doughnut nails', which pretty much broke TikTok in 2022. She's the celebrity nail whisperer known for turning a polish shade into a pop culture moment, and Sabrina's latest look is no exception. 'I started with one of my favourite combinations,' Zola told us. ' One coat of OPI Passion, and one of Bare My Soul. It gives a beautiful sheer nude effect — clean, glossy and timeless.' But it's the detail that's made it go viral: neat, tiny white polka dots painted using OPI's Alpine Snow. 'They added a sense of whimsy and dimension,' she explained. 'It's feminine but a little bold, just like the video.' The end result is a delicate, high-gloss manicure that feels like 1960s elegance with a 2025 upgrade and the good news is, you can recreate it at home. OPI's Infinite Shine range is available at Myer, and right now, it's 30 per cent off. That means each shade is just $17.47, so you can channel Sabrina without spending like a pop star. Get the look: Step 1: Apply one coat of OPI Infinite Shine in Passion for a sheer pink base. Step 2: Layer one coat of OPI Infinite Shine in Bare My Soul for added warmth and shine. Step 3: Use a dotting tool (or the end of a bobby pin) to create tiny dots with OPI Infinite Shine in Alpine Snow. Step 4: Finish with a glossy top coat for that glassy, salon-quality shine. Zola also gave us a sneak peek into what's coming next in nails. 'Cat eye and chrome are huge right now,' she said. ' At the Met Gala, I gave Sydney Sweeney a nude base using OPI's Bubble Bath, then added a cat eye French tip with a golden outline. The mirrored finish takes a classic look to the next level.' It's part of a wider trend we're seeing in beauty — the return of softness, elegance and those 'quiet luxury' details that make a big impact without being over the top. Think glazed finishes, subtle shimmer, and neutrals that still feel special. And if Sabrina's nails are anything to go by, we're about to see a lot more playful polka dots this season. Shop the exact shades at Myer now (on sale): OPI Infinite Shine in Passion was $24.95, now $17.47 OPI Infinite Shine in Alpine Snow was $24.95, now $17.47 More OPI shades to grab from Myer:

These Are the Hottest Makeup Trends of 2025 — Plus, What's Out Right Now

From the moment in late 2024 that Pantone announced it's 2025 color of the year, the ultra-wearable shade mocha mousse, and Pinterest predicted everything from fragrances to nails would be cherry coded, it was clear 2025 would be an exciting year in beauty. Sixty days and one Fashion Month into 2025, we reached out to the top pros in makeup to find out the buzziest eye, lip, cheek and nail looks, as well as for their take on what's not so hot right now. Ahead, the it lip finish, must-have manicure, and so much more. High-shine lips are having a moment thanks to social media (they're all over TikTok), says Alexandra McCormick, director of global artistry development at Hourglass Cosmetics, the brand behind the bold red hue Eiza González is wearing (left). The beauty of these new formulas that get the effect? They have the moisturizing properties of a traditional balm with the lacquer-like finish of a gloss. Buy It! Heavy Eye MakeupLayers of packed-on shadow are taking a backseat to washes of color like grays and purples. Trends from the 1990s are on fire! Unkempt BrowsInstead of having unruly brows, now they're groomed—whether they're razor-thin or big and fluffy. Extreme LashesGiant lashes that fan out past your eyebrows are out, and natural lashes created with a lash curler and one to two coats of mascara are in.
