According to Mani, there should be no place for such non-AC trains in developed India. Currently, the average speed of Vande Bharat trains is 70 to 90 km, which can be increased to 100 to 150 km. The Amrit Bharat train is a push-pull train. This means these trains have engines on both the front and back sides. The Railway Ministry promotes Amrit Bharat trains as low-cost, high-speed trains.
