Strictly Come Dancing celebrity 'confirmed' at BBC studio
Among them were Amy Dowden, reigning champion Dianne Buswell, Johannes Radebe and Kai Widdrington, to name a few. They were joined by the two new professionals, Alexis Warr and Julian Caillon. However, aside from the dancers who began training on Monday (July 28), there was also a celebrity who was spotted by fans making their way to Elstree Studios, rumored to be part of this year's line-up. Something to do with strictly??' This person responded: 'She is rumoured actually! I guess she will be on it, she'll be good. 'She was also rumoured to take part in celeb SAS tho (edit: the one that films for next year) guess she's deciding which to do.' Another commented: 'i've heard her name floating around so thats brill news x' All the winners over the years One chimed in: 'Last year the celebs did their costume fittings before they were announced, so it's possible she could be at elstree for that.' Last month, the Love Island star was just one name thrown into the rumour mill as a source previously told The Sun: 'Bosses are thrilled she's agreed to take part and are ironing out her fee. Amy - who recently said she feels 'stronger than ever' - beamed for the camera as she lay across the back of the boat in the shade, wearing stylish sunglasses and a straw hat for protection from the sun. In another snap, she posed in the setting sun wearing a cream cropped top and matching maxi skirt while holding a glass of wine. Amy also shared a series of snaps with Becky from their evenings out by the pool, enjoying cocktails and the incredible sea views. The star captioned the picture montage: "Some much-needed twin time. "We had the perfect little escape – full of sunshine, sangria, beach days, rooftop swims, incredible food, and most importantly, proper quality time together." Amy, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2023 and underwent a mastectomy and chemotherapy, continued: "After my cancer diagnosis, I promised my family (and myself) that I'd take more downtime. "I used to live life at 100mph, saying yes to everything and everyone. But cancer shifts your perspective. "This year I've been incredibly lucky with new job opportunities which have been full on but so rewarding and I can't wait to share all to you very soon. So having time to slow down isn't just okay – it's essential. "These past few days have been the perfect reset and I'm heading into the new season feeling recharged, happy, stronger, and HEALTHIER than ever." Amy Dowden returns to dancing after being forced to pull out of Strictly over medical emergency Amy then took time to pay tribute to her sister, writing: "Also bursting with pride for my sister @becky_dowden – she was accepted into her master's program in midwifery while we were away (yes, while still working full-time in the NHS!). Strictly Come Dancing new professionals Alexis Warr and Julian Caillon were seen arriving on the first day of rehearsal on Monday as they joined the rest of the cast in public for the first time. Alexis, 25, looked in high spirits as she beamed while sporting a khaki green shirt and chic shades, while Julian, 29, waved to onlookers as he carried a large backpack. American-born Alexis, 25, is best known for winning US dance series So You Think You Can Dance in 2022 and was crowned as 'America's Favourite Dancer', becoming the first female Ballroom and Latin dancer to claim the title. She has performed as a guest Professional Dancer and in the dance troupe on the US version of Strictly, Dancing With The Stars, and has been part of the series' accompanying US tour for the past three years. Australian-born Julian has been dancing since the age of 10, specialising in Ballroom and Latin American, and going onto represent Australia on the international stage. He appeared as a Professional Dancer on three seasons of Australia's Dancing With The Stars, has toured the globe with hit dance show Burn The Floor, and also competed on So You Think You Can Dance in Australia. The new pair were joined by their fellow pros for rehearsals, with Amy Dowden looking in great spirits as she flashed a grin for the cameras. The beloved star, 34, who revealed she was feeling 'healthier than ever' after her cancer battle, sported a baby blue top, a cropped denim jacket and black leggings.
