Uorfi Javed recalls ‘starving' herself as she wanted to be ‘extremely skinny': ‘I stopped eating, developed body dysmorphia'
Uorfi Javed, who is known for her unique fashion choices and risque persona, recently shared that she developed 'body dysmorphia' a few years ago. She said that she started starving herself, wouldn't work out and survive on minimal food as she wanted to look skinny. Uorfi opened up about this phase in a chat with Anshula Kapoor on her YouTube channel, Bunkk with Uorfi. She shared, 'I developed body dysmorphia 3-4 years ago. I was starving. I stopped eating. I just wanted to be this really skinny person, like extremely skinny so I just stopped eating. I would eat 3-4 chicken pieces a day and not even work out. I would just run.' When asked how she gathered the energy to function, Uorfi shared, 'Mentally, I was f**ked. I was always cranky, I was always annoyed. If anyone spoke to me, I would be like 'why are you talking to me?'' She shared that she does not care about being skinny any more. She shared, 'But recently, I have started going to the gym. I have started lifting weights. I have started eating well. Now I don't care about being skinny.' 'On the first couple of days, Uorfi would smell the desserts, but third day onwards, she was like 'I only want to eat desserts',' Anshula recalled. Uorfi shared that she was 'stress eating' at that point and was eventually eating all the desserts that were served there. Uorfi eventually won the show with poker player Nikita Luther. Anshula was also a part of the show but was eliminated in the eighth episode during the cCircle of shaq' segment.

'I know both your mother, my mother including your mother's parents, and of course your massi, are showering their blessings wrapped around you like a warm embrace. Seeing you so deeply happy and in love is one of the greatest joys of my life. Your journey is only beginning, and I'll be cheering you on with pride, love, and all my heart â€' every step of the way. Anshula Kapoor's weight loss journey has been a topic of interest for many. Anshula, daughter of Bollywood film producer Boney Kapoor and his first wife, Mona Kapoor, has always been open about her struggles and triumphs in achieving a healthier lifestyle. Anshula just got engaged to her boyfriend Rohan Thakkar, whom she met on a dating app. Anshula's approach to weight loss has been holistic all along, instead of drastic measures. From embracing nutrient-dense foods to prioritising mental wellness, Anshula has been always been vocal about losing weight in a sustainable manner. Weight-Loss Tips From Anshula Kapoor Calling her weight loss transformation 'a work in progress', Anshula once shared her weight loss tips and tricks in her Instagram Stories. What Anshula's breakfast is: An egg and one toast with black coffee, and half an avocado in the morning. Post breakfast, she enjoys another cup of black coffee. For lunch: Anshula indulges in 1-2 ragi rotis, 100-150 grams of boneless chicken, and a big bowl of sabzi. "I am not picky about vegetables. Cook it Indian style and I will have just about anything," she said. "Or occasionally, a quinoa or lentil-based pasta with a vegetable salad and some grilled chicken or chicken wings," she said. Dinner: Usually comprises roasted chicken or tandoori chicken with grilled vegetables on the side, or ragi rotis with boneless chicken cooked Indian style, with a bowl of sabzi (Indian curry). Post-dinner snack:"I stay up late. So, if I get hungry post-dinner, it's usually a protein shake or a small protein-based snack or the most gooey chocolate cakes, the ones with the molten lava in the middle," Anushula added. Workout Routine Talking about her workout routine, Anshula shared that it is designed by her trainers Priyanka Mehta and Swapneel Hazare at Shield Fitness. "The trainers keep changing my program, but it's basically a strength workout with some functional training thrown into the mix towards the end of each session. In a good week, 4 times a week we do strength training four times and 1-2 days, I end up doing cardio," she said. Reacting to the happy news, he told us, 'I am really happy and elated. This was the best day. I wish this had happened when my mother was alive. When I heard it, I was absolutely delighted. It's the best news I've heard in some time.' Boney shared that the family is now looking forward to discussing the wedding. 'Everybody is excited. We are waiting for them to come back so we can decide the wedding date. We need to talk to them'. Overwhelmed with emotion, he added, 'I am grateful to my mother (Nirmal Kapoor, who passed away in May), she couldn't manage it when she was alive, but as soon as she went up, she managed it.'
