Anuja Sathe on playing Karpura Devi in Chakravarti Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan: Before performing emotionally intense scenes, I often listen to soft instrumental music

Magnum opus Chakravarti Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan has been captivating viewers with its rich narrative and powerful performances. Chronicling the journey of a child destined to be king, the show presents a compelling narrative of legacy, leadership, and valour. Actress Anuja Sathe , who plays a pivotal role in the show, is earning praise for her impactful and emotionally layered performance. But what's lesser known is the mindful routine she follows to stay grounded and focused on set, especially during intense scenes. Portraying intense emotions on screen can be both challenging and draining, and for Anuja, being mentally prepared is key to delivering an impactful performance. Known for her grounded approach to acting, Anuja has developed her own on-set rituals that help her stay calm, focused, and emotionally present. To ease into the demanding shoot schedules and emotionally charged scenes, Anuja begins her day with a few minutes of quiet meditation. She also tunes into calming speakers and listens to soft instrumental music between takes to maintain a sense of tranquility. These small yet mindful practices help her transition seamlessly into character and remain centered through long and hectic shoot days. Sharing her process, Anuja says , 'Playing a character from a different era, with so much emotional depth and gravitas, demands complete immersion. And for that, I've had to develop a ritual that helps me stay centered amid the chaos of a shoot day. I've realised over time that meditation and calm music are my anchors." She added, "Before performing emotionally intense scenes, I usually find a quiet corner, close my eyes, and just breathe. I often listen to soft instrumental tracks or calming speakers like Sri M, they help me release any tension I may be holding onto. We all have our ways of coping with hectic schedules, for me, it's the simple, silent things that make the biggest difference.' Anuja Sathe: I met my parents after five months

Exclusive- Chakravarti Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan's Anuja Sathe on the content explored on TV: People want to see female-centric characters on screen

Chakravarti Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan, television's vast historical epic, continues to captivate audiences with an incredible storyline, grand visuals, and strong performances. Anuja Sathe exclusively shared whether she plans to return to TV and the kind of roles she wishes to portray. Anuja on whether she has plans to return to TV, "No, not yet. Not on TV, no daily. I've just finished shooting for a web show, which is a very different, completely different genre. It's something in the pipeline, and I recently shot for it. So, when you're fully occupied with something like this on TV, there's no chance to shoot for another show because the demands are so high and it's very time-consuming. Therefore, it's impossible to work on another TV show. However, of course, there are different mediums you can explore, and you can juggle two or three projects simultaneously." She further reacted on what should be explored on TV in terms of content, "There are so many things that we've not done. Or I would say that now the perspective of looking towards content has already changed, and we are seeing a lot of women-centric projects coming up, and content coming up. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Giao dịch CFD với công nghệ và tốc độ tốt hơn IC Markets Đăng ký Undo So, I think sooner or later, I mean, it's already happening. So, I don't know who's working on what right now at this moment, but I'm sure that people want to watch something new, people want to go back to their roots, and people want to see female-centric characters on screen. " Anuja would love to see the warrior side of Bajirao, as well as explore it herself. "I have done Peshwa Bajirao with the same channel before. It was again a historical. So, I don't mind seeing Peshwa's other side instead of seeing the Bajirao-Mastani love story. But I would love to see the warrior side of Peshwa Bajirao again." Exclusive- Anuja Sathe gets candid about the preparations behind essaying Karpura Devi in Chakravarti Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan

Chakravarti Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan, television's grand historical epic, continues to captivate audiences with tremendous storytelling, grand visuals, and strong performances. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now , who plays the character of Karpura Devi, exclusively shared with Times Of India TV what went behind preparing for the role. The actress also shared her excitement about working with the same team again after . Anuja on working with the team again Very, very exciting because the last show that I did on TV was with the same production house, and now I'm again coming back on TV with the same production itself. So, it's very exciting. It's a great feeling because I know everybody, I've worked with them, and I know how they mount their historical shows. They are specialised, we can say, in making historicals and everything. So, it's great. It's great to be back. And back with the people that I already worked with. What went behind carving a role like Kapura Devi? So, basically, this part of the culture I was completely unaware of. Culture, history and reading up about it and knowing who was involved in this particular region and how the kings ruled and what the history was that went behind it and all of that. That was very new to me. Also, the language part where we have kept the nuances of a little bit of Marwadi and a combination of Hindi. Of course, it's more of Hindi and very little Marwadi is used. But I think that accent and those nuances matter a lot. So, I had to have an understanding of how those words are spoken, what the accent is and how these things are said. Because in the meantime, I had done lots of different work, where it was modern Hindi, English mix, English as we call it. And now going back to the roots, the pure Hindi-based with little Marwadi was a little tough part for me in the beginning. So, I sat with the creatives, and I read the script. We had episodes in our hands already. So, I sat with them so that they could correct me at that given point in time and tell me how it's pronounced. These kinds of preparations went on into putting something into this character. Keep reading this space for more updates.

All-women team reaches home after 1,800-nautical mile int'l voyage

Visakhapatnam: The Tri-Services All-Women Sailing Expedition team returned home after completing a ground-breaking 1,800-nautical-mile international voyage to Seychelles. The historic expedition, commenced on April 7, marks the first-ever international open-sea sailing mission by an all-women team from the Indian Armed Forces. The expedition was flagged-in by Commandant, College of Military Engineering Lieutenant General AK Ramesh in Mumbai. He hailed the mission as a milestone in the journey of gender-inclusive operational excellence. Applauding the courage and determination of the team, he emphasised the growing role of women as key contributors to the Armed Forces' operational strength. Aboard the indigenously-built Indian Armed Services Vessel 'Triveni', a 56-foot sailing yacht, the team of 11 women officers from the Army, Navy and Air Force navigated nearly two months of challenging open-sea conditions. Enduring tropical squalls, rough sea states, and extended fatigue, the crew demonstrated exceptional endurance and unflinching resolve. The initiative represents more than a naval feat as it is a celebration of 'Nari Shakti' in the Indian Armed Forces. It also stands as a shining example of Tri-services synergy. As India continues to expand its maritime footprint and capabilities, the successful completion of this voyage serves as a symbol of the Armed Forces' commitment towards excellence, equality, and strategic vision-led proudly by its women warriors on the high seas.
