SS Rajamouli announces Baahubali The Epic on 10th anniversary of Prabhas starrer
SS Rajamouli recently shared a post as his epic action-fantasy 'Baahubali: The Beginning' (2015) marked 10 years. He announced the release of 'Baahubali: The Epic', a two-part combined a heartfelt post shared on X with a poster of 'Baahubali: The Epic', Rajamouli wrote, "'Baahubali'. Previously, before announcing the release date, the production house, Arka Media Works, decided to combine both the 'Baahubali' films into one, by introducing several new cuts to the whole narrative, as reported by 'Baahubali' series is a duology of films, following the journey of Sivudu (played by Prabhas), an adventurous young man and his quest for true love and purpose in life. 'Baahubali: The Beginning' narrates how Sivudu helped his love Avantika (Tamannaah Bhatia) rescue Devasena (Anushka Shetty), the former queen of Mahishmati, who is now imprisoned by the tyrannical king Bhallaladeva Rana Daggubati). The story concludes in 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' (2017).The movie series also features Sathyaraj, Ramya Krishnan, Nassar and others in key roles. 'Baahubali: The Begninning' earned Rs 650 crore worldwide, while 'Baahubali: The Conclusion' collected Rs 1788.06 crore globally, as reported by sequel is still able to secure the third position in the highest-grossing Indian films of all time, after 'Dangal' (2016) and 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' (2024).- EndsTrending Reel

A decade of ‘Baahubali': SS Rajamouli's two-part saga set for re-release
SS Rajamouli's Baahubali films (Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion) are set for a re-release. Starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and Anushka Shetty, the first part released on July 10, 2015. The makers have decided to combine both the parts into one and re-release it in theatres. On its 10th anniversary, the makers surprised fans by announcing the re-release date of the movie, titled Baahubali: The Epic. Originally shot in Telugu, the films were dubbed in Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi. The massive success of the Baahubali filmsacross the country spurred the pan-Indian movement in the Indian film industry. Produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni of Arka Media Works, the movie will hit the screens again on October 31, 2025. The film's grand music was composed by MM Keeravani, who went on to win the Oscars for his work in Rajamouli's RRR (2022). Veteran V Srinivas Mohan was the VFX supervisor for the ambitious project while KK Senthil Kumar shot the two-part epic drama. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao edited the movies. Rana Daggubati joins Ram Pothineni's next as producer
Actor Rana Daggubati has joined forces with the makers of 'Baahubali' to back Ram Pothineni's upcoming film. The yet-to-be-titled project marks the directorial debut of Kishore and is expected to be officially announced is producing the film in collaboration with Arka Media Works, the banner behind the grand Baahubali franchise. The project has already sparked interest among fans and industry reports suggest that the film was initially set to star Naga Chaitanya. According to Hindustan Times, pre-production had already begun when Chaitanya decided to exit the project for undisclosed reasons. The makers then approached Ram Pothineni, who readily came on board. Meanwhile, Ram is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film 'Andhra King Taluka', co-starring Kannada actor Upendra. The film features Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead and is directed by Mahesh Babu P. It is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers Pothineni, known for his action-packed films like 'iSmart Shankar', is set to break away from his usual image in the upcoming movie. Rana Daggubati and Naga Chaitanya are cousins and were quite excited about collaborating on the film, but sadly, the latter has walked out. On the other hand, Ram Pothineni is thrilled to work on a biggie that the makers of Baahubali are associated with. Director Kishore makes his debut with this film and has worked hard on the project for a long time now. Though things have been delayed, with Ram Pothineni joining the project, things will soon take shape.
