Previously, before announcing the release date, the production house, Arka Media Works, decided to combine both the 'Baahubali' films into one, by introducing several new cuts to the whole narrative, as reported by Gulte.The 'Baahubali' series is a duology of films, following the journey of Sivudu (played by Prabhas), an adventurous young man and his quest for true love and purpose in life. 'Baahubali: The Beginning' narrates how Sivudu helped his love Avantika (Tamannaah Bhatia) rescue Devasena (Anushka Shetty), the former queen of Mahishmati, who is now imprisoned by the tyrannical king Bhallaladeva Rana Daggubati). The story concludes in 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' (2017).The movie series also features Sathyaraj, Ramya Krishnan, Nassar and others in key roles. 'Baahubali: The Begninning' earned Rs 650 crore worldwide, while 'Baahubali: The Conclusion' collected Rs 1788.06 crore globally, as reported by Sacnilk.The sequel is still able to secure the third position in the highest-grossing Indian films of all time, after 'Dangal' (2016) and 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' (2024).- EndsTrending Reel

On the international stage, Rebirth has crossed the $500 million mark following its second weekend, with total global earnings reaching around $529 million. North America has contributed $232 million, while overseas markets have added $297 million to the tally.
