Missing Bushbuckridge woman found dead
The body of Aseza Nongeni (29), who had been reported missing, was found on Wednesday, July 3. Preliminary police investigations suggest she was murdered. According to the Mpumalanga police spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Jabu Ndubane, her body was discovered hidden under a mattress in a rental room of a male friend. She was located not far from where she had been living in Malainini, Bushbuckridge. 'Aseza was identified by her sister, Ndileka. They are originally from the Eastern Cape. A case of murder has been opened, and the investigation has commenced. The police are appealing to a man known as Saloni Horacio Gwambe, believed to be a 32-year-old Mozambican national, to urgently make contact with the police as he may be able to assist with the investigation,' said Ndubane. Ndileka said she last spoke to Aseza on the afternoon of June 27. Urgent appeal for help to find missing Bushbuckridge woman
The family of Aseza Nongezi (29), who was last seen on Friday, June 27, by her landlord, is still hopeful that she will return home safely. She rented a room in Malainini, Bushbuckridge. Aseza's sister, Ndileka, said she is worried about Aseza and she hopes that they find her safe. She said she last spoke to Aseza on Friday afternoon. According to her, one of Aseza's colleagues, Ntwanano Khosa, informed her on Monday evening that Aseza was nowhere to be found. Khosa said the community and the police are looking for Aseza. 'She was last seen wearing a black jacket and a pink doek, but I cannot remember the rest of her outfit. On Friday, her landlord confirmed that she spoke to her that night before she went to bed,' Khosa said. According to the Mpumalanga police spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Jabu Ndubane, Aseza was last seen around 20:00.
