Ashadha Gupt Navratri 2025: Also known as Varahi or Gayatri Navratri, Ashadha Gupt Navratri will begin on 26th June July 2025 and end on 4th July 2025. This sacred festival is observed during the Shukla Paksha (waxing phase of the moon) in the Hindu month of Ashadha, which usually falls between June and July. Each day of this Navratri is associated with one of the Dus Mahavidyas, starting from Maa Kali and concluding with Maa Kamala on the tenth day. Unlike the popular Chaitra and Sharad Navratris, this one is observed in secrecy by spiritual seekers and tantriks.

Navratri means nine days and nine nights dedicated to worship Maa Durga and these days are considered as the most sacred days in Hinduism. During these nine days devotees worship nine forms of Maa Durga. They perform various puja rituals to appease Goddess Durga and seek blessings. Navratri occurs four times during a year - Chaitra and Shardiya Navratri are the two main Navratri days and Navratri that occurs during Magha and Ashadha month, known as Gupt Navratri. Similarly, this time Ashadha Navratri is going to start from Pratipada Tithi of Shukla Paksha in the month of Ashadha i.e., on June 26, 2025. Ashadha Gupt Navratri 2025: Puja Rituals Wake up early in the morning and clean your home especially your puja room. Take bath after cleaning is done, then take a wooden plank and place an idol of Goddess Durga there. Adorn the Goddess with shringar items such as chunni, sindoor, bangles, haldi, mehendi etc. Take a kalash, fill it with water and place a coconut on that and do Ghatsthapna by chanting various vedic mantras. Light a diya with desi cow ghee, light incense sticks, offer hibiscus flower garland, fruits and sweets. Devotees must recite Durga Saptashati Paath to appease Maa Durga and if they are unable to do so then they must recite Kavach Argala Keelak for protection and chant different mantras dedicated to the Goddess 108 times.
