Uttar Pradesh to set up 2,700 smart classrooms, 1,780 already operational
The Uttar Pradesh government is giving a major push to digital education in urban areas by setting up thousands of smart classrooms in government schools. As part of this effort, the Urban Development Department is developing over 2,700 technology-enabled classrooms aimed at improving learning experiences and access for students, especially those from low-income of now, about 1,780 of these classrooms have already been completed and are in department said this initiative is helping students from economically weaker backgrounds gain access to modern, tech-based education, leading to a steady rise in school enrolments.
