The taping will take place at 11 a.m. local time, at Karlovy Vary's historic Congress Hall. No ticket or pass is required for entry — admission is free — but seating is limited to the first 250 people to arrive. Kate Hudson reveals why she was told to ‘divorce' parents Goldie Hawn and Bill Hudson as a teen

Kate Hudson was almost famous under different circumstances. The actress, 46, recently revealed that as a teen, she was told to get emancipated from her parents, Goldie Hawn and Bill Hudson, in order to land more work in Hollywood. 'I had gotten this part that they wanted me to basically divorce my parents so that I could work as an adult,' Hudson said while on the 'Awards Chatter' podcast at the Newport Beach TV Fest earlier this month. 10 Kate Hudson attends Newport Beach TV FEST. 'But then I got the 'Party of Five' and it was so great.' The Fox drama debuted in 1994 and followed the lives of the five Salinger siblings after their parents died in a car crash. The series starred Matthew Fox as the eldest sibling and guardian, Charlie Salinger, Scott Wolf as Bailey Salinger, Neve Campbell as Julia Salinger, Lacey Chabert as Claudia Salinger and Jacob Smith as Owen Salinger. 10 Goldie Hawn and daughter Kate Hudson on July 11, 1992. She played Cory, a co-worker of Michael Goorjian's character Justin Thompson. Thompson was Julia's love interest at the beginning of the show. 'Party of Five' marked Hudson's first role on a television series, and she recalled Goorjian, 54, being 'so sweet' and 'so kind' on set. 10 Goldie Hawn and Bill Hudson. 'I was 16 and obsessed with 'Party of Five,' so walking onto that set was like, I couldn't believe that I was going to have a guest role on it, a day player role,' Hudson gushed. 'I was like, oh. It was so fun.' While on the live podcast episode, the 'Running Point' star also touched on why she turned down an acting job at the age of 16. 10 Kate Hudson in 'Party of Five.' Fox At the time, Hudson had begun seriously auditioning for roles and her stepdad, Kurt Russell, suggested she try out for the part of a young girl in his 1996 movie 'Escape from L.A.' 'I went in and auditioned and got that part, and I sort of realized, 'Oh, this is when you start to make choices that will define your career,'' the singer recounted. 'And, 'Do I want to be defined by being Kurt's daughter who got this part? No.'' '[It doesn't] matter if I got it because I was good enough,' continued Hudson, 'it would never be what people would ever think. And I knew that and was like, 'No, I can't.' So I ended up saying no to that, too.' 10 Goldie Hawn and Bill Hudson. Then, in 2000, Hudson rose to fame as Penny lane in 'Almost Famous.' 'It was like 'Big Trouble in Little China' and we had slides that would go down into rubber fish, and these amazing costumes.' 'And the thing is, when you grow up on a movie set, it's not that fun,' Hudson confessed. '[There] is a lot of waiting around, so you realize you really love it when you don't want to get off the movie set.' 10 Kurt Russell, Goldie Hawn and Kate Hudson attend the 20th anniversary celebration of the Goldie Hawn Foundation. 'There was never a question, but really falling in love with the circus was something that I don't think all kids actually have when they're on a set.'

Sam Rockwell Says He Still Gets Residual Checks for ‘Lean on Me' 'Even Though I'm Not in It'

Sam Rockwell may not actually be in the 1989 film Lean on Me, but he's still paid for the role he almost had. The Oscar winner recently shared on the Happy Sad Confused podcast that he, Michael Imperioli and Kevin Corrigan drove together in a van to New Jersey to audition for a single line in the movie, starring Morgan Freeman and Beverly Todd. 'So they had to let me go because they didn't want to pay me for a week,' he said, adding that they just paid him for the day. 'They were like, we can't pay him a week for one line.' Imperioli was later cast for the role, but The White Lotus actor said, 'I still get residual checks for that even though I'm not in it.' This wasn't the only time Rockwell and Imperioli were cast in the same role. He also told host Josh Horowitz that he was later called to star in 1998's Celebrity, starring Kenneth Branagh, Judy Davis and Leonardo DiCaprio. 'I was part of DiCaprio's entourage and I had a few lines and they said, 'Woody [Allen, director] wants you to dye your hair bleach blonde.' And I said, 'I'm not dying my hair bleach blonde for like five lines. What are you crazy?' And they're like, 'Woody wants you to do it,' and I'm like, 'Well I'm not doing it.'' That's when production told him, ''Well Michael Imperioli was going to do it,' 'cause he had dropped out, and I was replacing Michael because Michael was going to do a little pilot called Sopranos,' he added before quipping, 'I heard it didn't go anywhere.' Rockwell ended up giving in: 'I said, 'All right, I'll dye my hair.' And I bleached my hair.' As for Imperioli, The Sopranos definitely did go somewhere, running for eight seasons and winning multiple Emmys. Sean 'Diddy' Combs Tells Judge He Will Not Testify at His Trial

After federal prosecutors completed six weeks of evidence and testimony backing up their indictment of hip-hop mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs on Tuesday, the defendant told the judge at his federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial that he will not be taking the stand to testify in his own defense. Federal prosecutors rested their case Tuesday afternoon after six weeks of testimony from Combs' ex-girlfriends, personal assistants, federal agents and various members of his once powerful media and music empire, which the feds argue was a 'criminal enterprise' used to traffic men and women and coerce others into sex marathons. The defense rested later in the afternoon without calling a single witness. U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian asked how Combs was and whether he would be testifying at the trial where, if found guilty, he could face life in prison. More from The Hollywood Reporter The Sphere Worked Modern Magic on the Soundtrack for 'The Wizard of Oz' J-Pop Duo Yoasobi on Why Their Unique Concept Has Helped Lead to Global Success Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Make Casual Red Carpet Debut at His Tight End University's Opening Night 'I'm doing great, your honor,' Combs told Subramanian. 'I want to tell you thank you, you're doing an excellent job.' Combs then told the judge that he had 'thoroughly' discussed the pros and cons of testifying with his team of attorneys and ultimately decided against taking the stand. 'That is my decision, your honor. That is solely my decision,' he said adding to clarify, 'I mean, it's my decision with my lawyers…. My decision to make. I'm making it.' The judge asking the defendant directly if they wish to testify before the court is a formality and ensures that he is making the decision on his own. During the trial, Judge Subramanian had to admonish Combs for interactions with the jury. On several occasions during testimony, the defendant gestured at jurors following a successful cross-examination; prosecutors noted this to the judge as a form of testifying without cross-examination. Comb was threatened with removal from his trial if he did not stop the interactions. On Tuesday, the defense asked the judge to toss out the case, arguing that the charges were not proven by the prosecutors; this is also a formality in a criminal trial. Judge Subramanian has not yet issued a decision. Combs has pleaded not guilty to five counts contained in an indictment, including sex trafficking and racketeering. He has remained incarcerated without bail in Brooklyn after three judges concluded he would be a danger to the community and may potentially attempt to influence witnesses ahead of the trial.
