Police recover stolen tractor from Hry after Cong MLA's complaint
1 2 Jaipur: Nearly two weeks after a tractor trolley was allegedly stolen from the residence of Dausa Congress MLA Deen Dayal Bairwa in Dausa, police recovered the vehicle from Haryana Saturday. A car used by the suspects involved in the theft was also seized, but the thieves managed to escape and have not yet been arrested. Police searched for the tractor trolley after the legislator took to X on July 7 and claimed that he was targeted by thieves three times in a month. Bairwa said that first his mobile phone was stolen, then a motorcycle from his home, and finally, a tractor trolley was taken. A police officer, however, clarified that the MLA was not the owner of the tractor trolley and it was not parked inside his residence. "The tractor belonged to Fateh Singh Gurjar, a resident of the Bassi area in Jaipur. He filed a complaint about the vehicle theft that occurred on July 6, after which teams were formed to trace it," the officer said. According to police, CCTV footage and technical investigation helped track the vehicle to Palwal district in Haryana. The officer added that the MLA had no direct connection with the theft other than the fact that it occurred near his residence. Following the series of incidents, Bairwa posted on X, writing, "In Dausa, thieves are becoming more daring, and the police seem to be just a name. The theft of my mobile on June 11, the motorcycle from my residence on June 14, and now the tractor trolley last night raises questions about law and order. I urge the police to take swift action." After Bairwa's post, former chief minister Ashok Gehlot and Leader of Opposition Tikaram Jully also criticised the state govt over the situation.

11 people from Rajasthan dead in Ahmedabad plane crash
Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], June 13 (ANI): Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Prem Chand Bairwa has informed that 11 people from the state were among the 241 people who were killed in the deadly Ahmedabad plane crash. He said the Rajasthan government was in constant touch with the concerned agencies, addressing the emergency situation in Gujarat's Ahmedabad. Bairwa assured that the state government stands firm with the grieving families. 'Very sad news received about the death of 11 citizens of Rajasthan in the Ahmedabad plane crash. The state government stands with the bereaved family and the injured with full sympathy and support. At the administrative level, there is constant contact and coordination with the concerned agencies,' Bairwa, who is also the co-incharge of Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) Gujarat unit, posted on X. 'I pray to God to give place to the departed souls in his feet and provide strength to the bereaved family to bear this sorrow,' he added. Earlier, Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma expressed sorrow over the crash of the London-bound plane and prayed for the well-being of all passengers and crew members. 'The news of the Air India flight crash in Ahmedabad, Gujarat is extremely sad and worrying. I pray to God for the well-being and safety of all the passengers and crew members in this unfortunate incident,' Bhajanlal Sharma said. The aircraft was piloted by Captain Sumeet Sabharwal, a Line Training Captain with 8,200 hours of flying experience, assisted by First Officer Clive Kundar, who had logged 1,100 flying hours. According to Air Traffic Control (ATC), the aircraft departed from Ahmedabad at 1339 IST (0809 UTC) from runway 23. It made a Mayday call to ATC, but thereafter, the aircraft did not respond to the calls made by ATC. Immediately after departing Runway 23, the aircraft fell on the ground outside the airport perimeter. An official said heavy black smoke was coming from the accident site. Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], June 25 (ANI): Marking the 50th anniversary of the Emergency imposed in 1975, Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Prem Chand Bairwa on Wednesday strongly condemned the Congress party for its actions during that period. Bairwa emphasized the importance of educating the younger generation about the 'atrocities committed during the Emergency,' Speaking to the media, Bairwa said, 'During the Emergency, thousands of innocent people were put in jail. They (Congress) have violated the Constitution several BJP government has done the work of safeguarding the Constitution under the leadership of PM Modi.' 'Today we are observing the day as 'Kala Divas' in at district level. We want our upcoming generation to get aware of the atrocities done by the Congress government during those times,' he said. Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday slammed the 'Emergency' imposed in 1975, calling it an 'era of injustice' driven by the Congress party's 'hunger for power'. He said the PM Narendra Modi-led government observes June 25 as 'Samvidhan Hatya Diwas (Constitution Assassination Day) to remind the younger generation of this dark period in Indian democracy. In a post on X, Shah wrote, 'The 'Emergency' was an 'era of injustice' driven by Congress's hunger for power. The Emergency imposed on June 25, 1975, caused immense pain and suffering to the people of the nation. To ensure that the new generation understands this, the Modi government has named this day Samvidhan Hatya Diwas. This day reminds us that when power turns into dictatorship, the people have the strength to uproot it.' Shah further criticised the Congress party and its leadership at the time for attacking democratic institutions.'The Emergency was not a national necessity but a reflection of the anti-democratic mindset of Congress and one individual. The freedom of the press was crushed, the judiciary's hands were tied, and social activists were thrown into jail. The people of the nation raised the battle cry of 'Vacate the Throne' and overthrew the dictatorial Congress. Heartfelt tributes to all the brave souls who sacrificed their lives in this struggle,' he added. Apart from this, the Union Cabinet today observed a two-minute silence in memory of those who lost their constitutionally guaranteed rights and faced 'unimaginable horrors' during the Emergency. The cabinet paid tribute to their 'exemplary courage and valiant resistance' to the Emergency's excesses. (ANI)

Raja Khas becomes Himachal's first solar model village
Raja Khas , a village located in the Indora sub-division of Kangra district , Himachal Pradesh , has earned the distinction of becoming Himachal's first Solar Model Village , Deputy Commissioner Hemraj Bairwa informed on Tuesday. Chairing a meeting of the District-Level Coordination Committee (DLCC) under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana, Bairwa said that Raja Khas has emerged as the top-performing village among 43 short-listed villages in Kangra district. These villages had been participating in a six-month-long competition aimed at selecting an ideal solar energy village based on solar installation performance, a statement issued here said. "The government will provide a grant of ₹1 crore for solar development in Raja Khas, setting a model for green energy adoption in rural areas," he added. The DC said that a Model Solar Village Implementation Agency has been nominated to prepare a Detailed Project Report (DPR) and spearhead the transformation of the village into a fully solar-powered settlement. He emphasized that the PM Surya Ghar Scheme will be implemented efficiently across the district to promote clean energy and reduce dependency on conventional power sources. Project Officer of Himachal Pradesh Energy Development Agency (Himurja) and DLCC Member Secretary Ramesh Thakur said that the implementation of the scheme is being handled by the Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Ltd, while Himurja has been designated as the nodal agency for monitoring its progress. He further elaborated that key components of the scheme include Central Financial Assistance (CFA) for domestic consumers, solar energy saturation in government buildings, incentives for local bodies, and the development of Adarsh Urja Grams (Model Energy Villages).
