Traffic performance level & Eid al-Adha plan discussed
Sana'a - Saba: A meeting in Sana'a on Monday, chaired by the Director-General of Traffic Police, Major General Dr. Bakil Al-Barashi, evaluated the level of traffic performance over the past period. The meeting included traffic leaders from the capital secretariat, regions, and traffic departments. The session reviewed the challenges facing traffic operations in the capital and proposed solutions, as well as the key directions of the traffic plan for Eid al-Adha. Emphasis was placed on the need for traffic officers to remain disciplined at their posts to provide optimal traffic services. During the meeting, the Director-General of Traffic Police stressed the importance of officers dealing courteously with citizens and preventing any violations in this regard. He highlighted the necessity for traffic control personnel and capital traffic officers to undergo specialized and qualifying courses in advanced road-user interaction techniques. He also directed fundamental changes and job rotations in several traffic departments within the capital to enhance performance and improve road safety. He urged combined efforts, teamwork, courteous interaction with citizens, and avoiding randomness in traffic operations. Dr. Al-Barashi emphasized redistributing personnel and resources, implementing longitudinal parking on all streets to reduce congestion and ensure smooth traffic flow. Al-Ruwaishan honors Directors General of Traffic Police and Traffic Police of Capital Sanaa
Sana'a – Saba: The Director General of Traffic Police, Major General Dr. Bakil Al-Barashi, and the Director of the Capital Sanaa Traffic Police, Colonel Najib Al-Asadi, were honored by the Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs, Lieutenant General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, and the Deputy Minister of Interior, Major General Abdul Majeed Al-Murtada, during an honoring ceremony held on Tuesday, Shaaban 27, 1446 AH (February 25, 2025). They were awarded certificates of appreciation for their efforts in developing traffic work. The Deputy Prime Minister praised the distinguished efforts of the Traffic Police in improving performance and upgrading services provided to citizens, stressing the importance of these efforts in enhancing traffic safety. He also pointed to the positive developments in the performance of the Traffic Police and the Traffic Control Unit, which were positively reflected in the services provided to citizens, especially on long roads. For his part, the Deputy Minister of Interior stressed the importance of the steps taken by the Traffic Police to improve performance and facilitate services, which led to the satisfaction of the community and the leadership. In turn, the Director General of Traffic Police, Major General Dr. Al-Barashi, expressed his gratitude for this honor, considering it an honor for all traffic officers and an incentive to exert more effort in the field. Checking out Dhamar & Ibb Traffic Departments
Ibb -Dhamar - Saba: The Director General of the Traffic Police, Major General Dr. Bakil Al-Barashi, inspected the workflow in the traffic departments of Dhamar and Ibb, as part of inspection visits to the workflow in the traffic departments in the provinces. Major General Al-Barashi, along with his assistant Brigadier General Ali Al-Washli, inspected the work progress in a number of departments in the two departments, and listened to an explanation from the leaders and officers of Dhamar and Ibb traffic departments about the progress of work and the level of services provided to citizens.
