Chandigarh / Hyderabad: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, stated that Chandigarh serves as a prime example of the concept of 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.' He made this remark during a meeting on Friday, following the inauguration of various projects in Chandigarh and the laying of foundation stones for several development works. During the event, he inaugurated the Sector-50 Commerce College Hostel, the expansion of the Government Senior Secondary School Complex, and the construction of an IT block at the Sector-46 Postgraduate College. Additionally, Bandi Sanjay inaugurated 144 newly constructed residential houses in the Chandigarh Police Complex in Dhanas. The Minister highlighted that Chandigarh is making significant strides in development, transparency, and security. He noted that programs such as the Smart City initiative, road improvements, modernization of public transport, digital governance, the Haritha Bharat initiative, and the Swachh Bharat Mission are resulting in clear positive changes in the lives of the residents. The projects and ground-breaking ceremonies initiated today, under the theme 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas,' reflect not only Chandigarh's development but also the vision and determination of our country. He expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for providing this opportunity. Under their leadership, the nation is rapidly progressing toward a 'developed India.' The concept of 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat' is becoming a reality under Amit Shah's guidance, and Chandigarh Governor Gulab Chandra Kataria is also steering the city's development in a new direction. The Union Minister emphasized that Chandigarh is the first city to fully implement the Indian Penal Code, the Indian Civil Protection Code, and the Indian Evidence Act. He stated that under the Viksit Bharat 2047 Mission, 'we will make India number one in economic growth. As part of this vision, we will transform Chandigarh into a knowledge hub, a wellness city, and a model of smart governance.' Sanjay Kumar congratulated the officials, planners, engineers, workers, and citizens who are playing a key role in these initiatives. Chandigarh Mayor Harpreet Kaur Babla, Chief Secretary to the Government Rajiv Verma, DGP Pushpendra Kumar, Finance Secretary Diprav Lakra, Additional Solicitor General of India Satyapal Jain, and Science and Technology, Environment Secretary Saurabh Kumar, among others, were present at the program organized for this occasion.

The city's pioneering adoption of these new criminal, civil, and evidence laws marks a historic step toward strengthening citizen protection and justice delivery. ITBP is symbol of India's strength: Bandi Sanjay
Hyderabad / Bhopal: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar has praised the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) as symbols of India's strength. He emphasized that the bravery of the ITBP heroes cannot be forgotten, their hardships cannot be ignored, and their services cannot be underestimated. He also mentioned that efforts are being made to provide better facilities with their welfare in mind. During his visit to the ITBP campus in Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh, on Wednesday, he launched several development projects. The minister inaugurated 105 newly constructed residential houses for the jawans of the 29th Battalion in Jabalpur, a barracks with a capacity for 360 personnel at the Communication and Information Technology Institute (CITI), and 38 additional residential houses. This program was attended by Mane Maharaj, IG Training ITBP; Mahesh Kalawat, DIG Shivpuri ITBP; Devender Jain, MLA of Shivpuri constituency; Gayatri Sharan, President of the Shivpuri Municipal Corporation; along with several senior ITBP officials and their families. In his speech at the event, Union Minister Bandi Sanjay paid tribute to the martyrs who laid down their lives in the line of duty. He stated that the sacrifices of ITBP soldiers will remain eternal and that their spirit will always resonate in the hearts of the people. He acknowledged that the ITBP soldiers have started development works with the determination to live with dignity and comfort. CRPF is the best among paramilitary forces: Bandi Sanjay
Hyderabad / Ranchi: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar praised the remarkable courage displayed by CRPF forces in combating separatism in the Northeastern states, Maoist activities in the Nothern states, and terrorism, including in Jammu and Kashmir. Bandi Sanjay on Friday at Jamshedpur garlanded the statue of revolutionary hero Birsa Munda and paid tribute to him. Then, visited the CRPF headquarters and inaugurated several new buildings during a ceremony attended by MP Vidyut Baran Mahato, Additional DG Amit Kumar, and officers Shalini and Saket Kumar, along with several senior police officials. It is an honour to inaugurate the new buildings at the CRPF headquarters in Jamshedpur. The services and sacrifices made by CRPF forces for the security of our country are invaluable. The CRPF is well-equipped to effectively handle a variety of challenging situations.' He inaugurated 480 Type-2 and 24 Type-3 family quarters, as well as a storage building, a tradesman's shop, a 20-bed hospital, an officers' mess, and a main barracks for 180 personnel, on a 165-acre site at the CRPF Group Headquarters in Jamshedpur. 'These residential quarters will provide a safe environment for CRPF jawans and their families, ensuring their children receive a good education and enabling the personnel to serve the country with peace of mind,' Bandi Sanjay stated.
