Bhad Bhabie Sued For Nearly $700K By American Express

OnlyFans model Bhad Bhabie, whose real name is Danielle Bregoli, is being sued by American Express in a new lawsuit that alleges she breached her contract and failed to repay nearly $700,000 in debt. The news stands in stark contrast to claims the internet personality made just over a year ago, when she stated she had earned millions of dollars from the subscription-based platform. According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, which were filed on July 2, 2025, in Los Angeles, Bhad Bhabie, who first gained internet traction after going viral during an episode of "Dr. Phil," has been sued by American Express over a hefty six-figure sum. The lawsuit states that the 22-year-old has failed to pay her $674,452.40 balance, which American Express claims is a breach of contract. 'Plaintiff extended credit to Defendant for purchases and/or cash advances by Defendants and/or persons acting with Defendants' permission on the American Express account XXXX‑XXXX‑X5000 (the 'Account')," the filing read. "Defendant promised to repay Plaintiff for all charges, fees, and interest on the Account by paying the balance in full every month or by making monthly payments.' The legal documents claim that Bhad Bhabie, who also released her debut mixtape, "15," in 2018, entered into an agreement with American Express on April 21, 2021. However, the "Bestie" performer stopped making payments in December 2024, according to court filings. American Express is seeking the full balance owed to them, along with damages for breach of contract, according to PEOPLE. Hours after news broke that American Express was suing Bhad Bhabie for nearly $700,000, the outspoken media personality denied the allegations in a new statement to The Shade Room. "Sh-t not true," she told the publication. "Where do they get this sh-t from?" In the comment section of The Shade Room's post, fans shared their thoughts about the 22-year-old's complicated financial situation. "It's definitely true," a user wrote, while another posted, "I owe them too. It's okay boo." A third user clearly agreed, adding, "If American Express said you did it, babes, you did it." One user asked how a person could even rack up such a high credit card bill, while another questioned the motive American Express would have to lie about the situation. Another questioned whether accepting a high credit line was financially responsible, considering Bhad Bhabie once claimed to be a multi-millionaire. "They set you up and waited until you were at your lowest [and] now you owe," they wrote. "And your credit [is] going down the drain." According to a report from Complex, Bhad Bhabie once claimed that she earned over $70 million from performing on OnlyFans since joining the platform. That figure, however, isn't necessarily surprising, considering she told streamer DDG that she grossed over a million dollars in six hours during her first day in April 2021. "When we first started, I made a million dollars in six hours," she shared. "And by the end of day it was like $4 million." "Now, overall, the net on it is like $75 million," she added before saying she's used the money to purchase properties and vehicles. According to a screenshot shared online, from April 2021 to July 2024, the rapper generated over $24 million in subscriptions, $32 million from private messages, and more than $500,000 from tips. In a previous interview, Bhad Bhabie revealed her thought process behind joining the subscription-based platform. 'Since I was young, I've been called names and told that I'm doing this and that,' she said. 'I thought, 'You know what, I might as well make money from it.' I'm not gonna lie, I did definitely expect for it to be the biggest sh-t ever for the website. I figured I was one of the biggest people to do it, and it was going to do amazing. But even after I made one, [the success still] shocked me.'

My Secret Auckland: Comedian Itay Dom shares his favourite spots in the city

Brunch is very important. You want to go somewhere public enough to show off your girlfriend, but not too public that your wife finds out. That's why I recommend Bestie on K Rd. I've never actually been but I met the owner at a Halloween party many years ago and she was nice. If you go there and drop my name at the counter they'll give you 90% off! View this post on Instagram A post shared by Bestie Cafe (@bestie_cafe) Favourite restaurant for dinner with friends? If you know me then you know I swear by Amano. Everytime I walk past it I think to myself 'f**k, this place is expensive'. I love going there though, I take all my dates there. I mean most of my dates. Okay, I took one date there. She worked in finance, which was good because she could help me take out a loan to pay off the bill. Favourite place to take a visitor to? Auckland Airport. Go to the international terminal if you want to see emotional goodbyes. Go to the domestic terminal if you want to see lukewarm hellos. Or take them to the Jetstar terminal if you didn't get a chance to take them to Spookers. And don't forget to stop by the gift shop - they have a carousel with free suitcases. Just pick one up and go your merry way! Favourite spot to finish a night out? Duck Island. I love Duck Island with a capital D. I take all my dates there. I don't think I've ever not taken a girl there. I have an intricate knowledge of all the flavours - I know when they came out, what they taste like, and their entire backstory. But when I'm on a date, I have to pretend it's my first time. I'll be like, 'White chocolate miso? Huh, I wonder what that tastes like...' Meanwhile, deep down, I already know it's life-changing. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Duck Island Ice Cream (@duckislandicecream) Favourite place to get coffee? Red Rabbit Coffee inside Newmarket Westfield. I go there once a week, not because I like coffee but because I am slowly building up the courage to ask out the barista with the fringe. They have a wide variety of coffee beans (two). The owner always asks me which one I want, and I say, 'Surprise me', and we laugh. But the real shock comes when the price pops up on the screen. Regardless, I love the vibe - sipping hot coffee, listening to mall announcements, and watching a ram-raid. Favourite fish-and-chip shop? I haven't had fish & chips since Jacinda was in office, but I'd go to Penny's in Parnell. Favourite trail for a hike? 136 Fanshawe St, where I work. You have to climb, like, a bajillion stairs to get to the office. Favourite venue for a gig? Advertisement Advertise with NZME. I love performing at The Classic Comedy Club because I like my crowds difficult. It's the little things about this ex-porn cinema that make me love it. The wobbly stage. The owner, Scott, always makes me laugh (and question my life choices). The bitter old comics. The bitter new comics. The little tech booth where you can see Finn losing his mind when you go 10 seconds over time. Sharing a laugh with Cam, the bartender, every time he tries charging me full price. The front-of-house girl who reads a book a day and never seems to do any work. The managers, Zeb and Harry, who always let me jump on stage at midnight and act like they're doing me a favour. I love it all. If you go there and drop my name at the counter, they'll give you 90% off! To top it off I'm doing my Comedy Festival show there, come check it out. Favourite place to find a bargain? Bar 101 at 2am. $3 drinks. $5 regret. IYKYK. View this post on Instagram A post shared by BATS Theatre (@bats_theatre)

Bestie in St Kevins Arcade is my go-to, and Coffee Pen in Eden Terrace is close to home and an absolute delight. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Bestie Cafe (@bestie_cafe) Favourite restaurant for dinner with friends? Anywhere on K Rd! You really can't go wrong, we're lucky enough to have a multitude of global cuisines all on one street. From Italy to Malaysia to Lebanon to Spain, who knew travelling could be so easy! Open Late for a drink in the sunny courtyard, and then on to… View this post on Instagram A post shared by Open Late (@weareopenlate_) Favourite spot to finish a night out? …Achos for a beer, A Space for a cocktail, Tappo for a wine, then to Goblin for great music and vibes to round off the night. Favourite place to get coffee? Obviously, most days start with a cup of joe at Open Coffee, catching up with all our regulars and the local K Rd community. On days off, I love seeing all the other fabulous owner-operators at their spots around the city - so spoilt for choice! Favourite beach? As I'm a real city gal, my favourite beach is the new swimming hole in Wynyard Quarter (aka cheeseburger). The council have done a great job at creating an inner city swimming pool for all to enjoy. Favourite fast-food joint? Has to be the regal White Lady on K Rd - Scott and Zia make the best burgers and shakes! They're open very late and their Hawaiian cheeseburger slaps! Favourite trail for a hike? Advertisement Advertise with NZME. I'm not much of a hiker, but I do love hiking through the city. One fav is strolling K Rd, heading through St Kevins Arcade and down into Myers Park. Graham Tipene's wonderful artwork under the bridge at the bottom of the park speaks to Waihorotiu, the river/awa that still flows under the park and down under Queen St. Once you pass through this artwork you'll arrive at the Basement Theatre - perfect for a drink and a show! Favourite venue for a gig? Most music I see at the brilliant new addition to K Rd, Double Whammy, downstairs in St Kevin's Arcade. Neck of the Woods also has amazing gigs and dancing. The Powerstation always delivers, and the Hollywood in Avondale is magic too. Favourite place to find a bargain?

Gayle King Responds To Backlash After Trip To Space With All-Women Crew

Gayle King, Katy Perry, Aisha Bowe, Lauren Sánchez, Amanda Nguyen, and Kerianne Flynn just did what most people only dream about—leaving the Earth for a few minutes. On Monday (April 14), the all-female crew boarded Blue Origin's New Shepard rocket, blasted off from West Texas, and returned in less than 10 minutes after a round-trip journey to the edge of space. For King, the trip was historic, but it was her facial expression that initially made headlines. As the CBS News anchor climbed aboard the capsule, she looked visibly distressed and nervous. While her crewmates smiled with glee, Gayle's expression said what many of us were probably thinking: 'What did I just sign up for?' The clip quickly went viral and became a meme. 'Gayle King is all of us on a Monday,' one X user typed in their post. Later, Gayle addressed the moment at the post-mission conference, saying, 'At that moment, I was so afraid. I just wanted to get into my seat because I just wanted to let the training kick in.' And while she admitted walking up to the capsule felt 'daunting,' she managed to find humor in her nerves, recalling a friend's bold advice: 'Once you get there, you're going to feel like it's sex with the gods,' to which she responded, 'Well, I've never had sex with a god to my knowledge, so thank you for the visual.' Still, once the rocket soared and it became reality that she was in space, Gayle had a moment of awe. 'It's the neon blue up in space, and it's still and it's quiet and you're all feeling this experience together. I know I will never forget it,' she said. 'I walked out of there thinking, gosh, I can do anything. I'm so proud of us. I really am proud of me—because I never in a gazillion years thought I could do this.' Of course, the women's journey to space didn't come without scrutiny (because naturally when women make history someone always has something to say). Actress Olivia Munn publicly questioned the value of such an expensive ride to Page Six, calling it 'gluttonous' while asking what real benefit the trip had for those on Earth. But the crew didn't shy away from addressing it. Bowe, a former NASA engineer, reminded everyone that representation matters. She shared how a high school counselor once told her to pursue cosmetology instead of engineering, and 'now she's been to space.' Gayle had her own sharp words for the critics. 'Anybody that's criticizing it doesn't really understand what is happening here,' she said, pointing to the overwhelming support from young women who've been inspired by the mission. 'We can all speak to the response we're getting from young girls about what this represents.' To drive her point home, she wrapped up her response with a confident mic drop: 'Any other questions?'
