Bhad Bhabie Sued For Nearly $700K By American Express
The news stands in stark contrast to claims the internet personality made just over a year ago, when she stated she had earned millions of dollars from the subscription-based platform.
According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, which were filed on July 2, 2025, in Los Angeles, Bhad Bhabie, who first gained internet traction after going viral during an episode of "Dr. Phil," has been sued by American Express over a hefty six-figure sum.
The lawsuit states that the 22-year-old has failed to pay her $674,452.40 balance, which American Express claims is a breach of contract.
'Plaintiff extended credit to Defendant for purchases and/or cash advances by Defendants and/or persons acting with Defendants' permission on the American Express account XXXX‑XXXX‑X5000 (the 'Account')," the filing read. "Defendant promised to repay Plaintiff for all charges, fees, and interest on the Account by paying the balance in full every month or by making monthly payments.'
The legal documents claim that Bhad Bhabie, who also released her debut mixtape, "15," in 2018, entered into an agreement with American Express on April 21, 2021. However, the "Bestie" performer stopped making payments in December 2024, according to court filings.
American Express is seeking the full balance owed to them, along with damages for breach of contract, according to PEOPLE.
Hours after news broke that American Express was suing Bhad Bhabie for nearly $700,000, the outspoken media personality denied the allegations in a new statement to The Shade Room.
"Sh-t not true," she told the publication. "Where do they get this sh-t from?"
In the comment section of The Shade Room's post, fans shared their thoughts about the 22-year-old's complicated financial situation.
"It's definitely true," a user wrote, while another posted, "I owe them too. It's okay boo."
A third user clearly agreed, adding, "If American Express said you did it, babes, you did it."
One user asked how a person could even rack up such a high credit card bill, while another questioned the motive American Express would have to lie about the situation.
Another questioned whether accepting a high credit line was financially responsible, considering Bhad Bhabie once claimed to be a multi-millionaire. "They set you up and waited until you were at your lowest [and] now you owe," they wrote. "And your credit [is] going down the drain."
According to a report from Complex, Bhad Bhabie once claimed that she earned over $70 million from performing on OnlyFans since joining the platform.
That figure, however, isn't necessarily surprising, considering she told streamer DDG that she grossed over a million dollars in six hours during her first day in April 2021.
"When we first started, I made a million dollars in six hours," she shared. "And by the end of day it was like $4 million."
"Now, overall, the net on it is like $75 million," she added before saying she's used the money to purchase properties and vehicles.
According to a screenshot shared online, from April 2021 to July 2024, the rapper generated over $24 million in subscriptions, $32 million from private messages, and more than $500,000 from tips.
In a previous interview, Bhad Bhabie revealed her thought process behind joining the subscription-based platform.
'Since I was young, I've been called names and told that I'm doing this and that,' she said. 'I thought, 'You know what, I might as well make money from it.' I'm not gonna lie, I did definitely expect for it to be the biggest sh-t ever for the website. I figured I was one of the biggest people to do it, and it was going to do amazing. But even after I made one, [the success still] shocked me.'

'Flashback' (1990) Blu-Ray Review - Unlikely Buddy Comedy Is Harmless Fun
Dennis Hopper and Kiefer Sutherland make a screen team that spans generations in Flashback. Infamous '60s radical Huey Walker (Hopper) has been caught by the Feds and is headed for prison under the watchful eye of an uptight FBI agent (Sutherland). Easy enough, right? But when Huey turns the tables on his escort, the two are in for a ride that's anything but easy. Carol Kane, Paul Dooley, and Cliff De Young also star in this laugh-packed road trip (emphasis on trip)! For thoughts on Flashback, please check out my thoughts on No Streaming Required: Video Quality Flashback debuted on Blu-Ray in 2023 with an inconsistent digital AVC encoded 1080p transfer derived from an older master that could use a refresh with its various drawbacks. The transfer retains a respectable amount of natural film grain, although there appears to be some amount of processing applied. Subtle signs of print damage show up sporadically, but it is an overall clear viewing experience. This is a pretty soft image for most of the runtime, but some fine detail can be observed in the clothing and backgrounds. Colors are somewhat muted yet stand out in certain moments in terms of saturation. Black levels are irregular with crush and compression artifacts occasionally visible in this presentation. Skin tones are natural and consistent across the ensemble. This feature could get a nice uptick with a fresh master, but it does what you need it to if you don't mind a careless HD presentation. Audio Quality This Blu-Ray presents the film with a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio track and a DTS-HD 2.0 Master Audio stereo track that are quite a bit better than the video side of things. The witty dialogue comes through clearly in tandem with all competing sounds. The environmental effects, such as rushing river water and train noises, are defined without turning into an auditory mess. The soundtrack presents an immersive experience for audiences. Nearly every tune emerges with a forthright fidelity, but you do hear the slightest bit of strain in some notes. Shout! Studios has done good work overall. Optional English SDH subtitles are provided. Special Features There are no special features provided on this disc. Final Thoughts Flashback is a pretty standard unlikely buddy comedy that plays well enough within the conventions. Kiefer Sutherland seems a bit too stiff for this role, but Dennis Hopper seems to be completely in his element. Carol Kane is a scene-stealer who allows that back half of the film to feel a bit more lively. This is a good candidate for a mindless weekend watch. Shout! Studios has provided a Blu-Ray featuring a dated A/V presentation and zero special features. Fans of the talent involved will want to seek it out, but casual audiences may want to sample before they buy. Flashback is currently available to purchase on Blu-Ray. Note: Images presented in this review are not reflective of the image quality of the Blu-Ray. Disclaimer: Shout! Studios has supplied a copy of this set free of charge for review purposes.
