Memphis Tigers Key to the Season
Somehow make this all was loaded with veterans last season, with seemingly everything in place to put up a dominant season. For the most part, it all worked. This time around, the schedule is about as easy as can be reasonably asked for, but it'll be a grind if a starting 22 with somewhere between 14 to 16 transfers isn't jelled early on, especially on offense.

Top Transfer In: Sam Brumfield, LB might not be as flashy as some of the key skill parts, and there are other vital defenders, but he should blow up on the outside of the Tiger linebacking corps. He made 81 tackles in his first year at Middle Tennessee, 60 last season at Virginia Tech, and now he'll be one of the top pass Transfer Out: Xavier Hill, OG Memphis line lost four starters, but not having Hill around is the biggest hit. The 6-4, 318-pound guard was one of the keys to the running game, and now he'll work for Coach Prime at Colorado.

Memphis Tigers 2025 Season Prediction, Win Total, What Will Happen
Just how quickly can the Memphis transfers form a cohesive team?If it can do it fast, it should rip through this slate. It's about as easy as it gets in the American Athletic Conference, with no Army to deal with and the three nastiest league games against Navy, Tulane, and USF all at the one tough Power Four game against Arkansas is in Simmons Bank Liberty.
Going to Georgia State will be sneaky tough, and the home games against the top AAC teams will be fights, but it's Memphis. It'll push through and be deep in the mix for another double-digit win season.
