PMBS Chairman Killed in Kunak Crash

By: Ibrahim Tabir Text Size: KUNAK: Datuk Yahamad Budin, 74, Chairman of the Brunei Sabah Community Association (PMBS) Kota Kinabalu branch and former Sabah Scouts President, was killed in a crash along the Kunak–Lahad Datu road early Sunday. He was driving a Toyota Hiace van when it skidded off the road and crashed, trapping him in the driver's seat. He died at the scene. Eight passengers, aged between 46 and 75, suffered injuries. Firefighters used hydraulic tools to extricate the victim. All injured passengers received initial treatment at the scene before being taken to Kunak Hospital.
