Moment police arrest Playboy drug kingpin stepping off private jet
James Harding plotted the murder of a rival from a luxury Dubai villa Drugs kingpins guilty of plotting murder and running drugs empire on EncroChat Dramatic footage of the moment armed counter terror police arrested a kingpin behind a €115m coke empire has been released as he faces a lengthy jail sentence. James Harding (34) plotted a murder and one of the largest importations of Class A drugs in Scotland Yard history using the encrypted EncroChat messaging platform. Playboy Harding lived a lavish lifestyle in Dubai and took topless selfies grinning and posing in the gym and a bathroom in his four-bedroom villa at The Nest development in Al Barari where he drove a Lamborghini Urus and Bugatti Chiron. Harding also chartered a private jet from the United Arab Emirates to London after co-defendant Jayes Kharouti's father died when airports were closed during the pandemic. After being extradited from Switzerland to the UK, he was arrested by counter terrorist specialist firearms officer at a London airport in May 2022. In the video (above) an officer remarks: 'Mr Harding, welcome back.' To which Harding replies: 'Oh, thanks very much' before being forced to wear a bulletproof jacket and driven away in an armoured vehicle. Harding and his 'loyal right-hand man' Kharouti (39) tried to recruit a paid hitmen to put an unnamed rival courier 'permanently out of business', arming him with a gun and ammunition for the 'full M', a murder in late May and early June 2020. Police say Harding, originally from Alton, Hampshire, used the handle 'thetopsking' while discussing plans on EncroChat with Kharouti who was 'besttops'. Jayes Kharouti (Met Police/PA) Met Police detectives, who spent hundreds of hours reviewing and analysing these messages, found detailed plans for arranging firearms, getaway vehicles, times, dates and locations. Harding's sophisticated network made 50 importations into the UK, weighing of one tonne between April and June 2020, turning over an estimated €6m profit in just 10 weeks. Earlier today (Tuesday June 24, 2025), Harding, who claimed to be a high-end watch sales executive, was found guilty by an Old Bailey jury of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and conspiracy to murder following a seven-week trial. Kharouti, 39, fled his home in Depot Road, Epsom but during searches police found a handset with the same number he gave to Harding. He was extradited from Turkey on June 25 last year and convicted of conspiracy to murder having previously admitted his role in supplying cocaine. They were remanded into custody to be sentenced on Thursday. Three other members of the organised crime group had previously admitted drugs offences.

Charity Meets Hypercar: $5 Koenigsegg Rides
Read the full story on Modern Car Collector In a charitable stunt that blended horsepower with heart, a supercar enthusiast turned heads by offering $5 rides in his Koenigsegg Regera—leaving passengers speechless and raising money for a good cause. The event, hosted by The Hamilton Collection, gave everyday car fans the chance of a lifetime: a seat in one of the fastest hypercars on earth. Though advertised with tongue-in-cheek claims of 5,000 horsepower, the Koenigsegg Regera's real stats were plenty shocking on their own—boasting a hybrid-assisted twin-turbo 5.0-liter V8 that delivers over 1,500 HP and near-instant torque. The result? Instant disbelief. 'I didn't expect that kind of acceleration,' said one passenger, visibly stunned after a short, high-speed run. 'It pins you back like a rollercoaster.' The Regera wasn't the only heavyweight in the lineup. For just $5, attendees could choose from a trio of multimillion-dollar machines: a Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution, a Bugatti Chiron, or the Koenigsegg itself. Dubbed a 'supercar holy trinity,' the garage offered a thrill unmatched even in most auto showrooms. While the rides alone were enough to draw crowds, the purpose behind the day was even more impressive. All proceeds went to local charities, turning tire smoke and revs into real-world impact. 'The goal is to give back while giving people an experience they'll never forget,' said the owner, who documented the event on social media. In a world where supercars often seem out of reach, this high-octane fundraiser proved that sometimes, all it takes is $5—and the ride of a lifetime. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter

Post Malone's $3.5M All-White Bugatti Chiron Turned Heads—Then He Sold It
Read the full story on Modern Car Collector Grammy-winning artist and noted car enthusiast Post Malone once made headlines not for a chart-topping single, but for his high-octane taste in supercars. The rapper reportedly spent $3.5 million on a custom Bugatti Chiron, finished in his signature all-white color scheme, complete with more than $150,000 in personalized upgrades—only to sell the car shortly after. Originally unveiled at the 2019 Montreal International Auto Show, Malone's Chiron reflected both his automotive passion and minimalist aesthetic. The musician, whose real name is Austin Post, added a list of high-end options to the already eye-popping hypercar. Among the most notable were $64,000 Caractère wheels and $38,200 worth of silver mesh for the front grille and rear detailing. Other enhancements included $32,000 comfort seats, a $10,900 aluminum center console inlay, and $6,400 black brake calipers. Despite its lavish customization and rarity, Malone sold the Chiron a few years after taking delivery. The car's resale reportedly became the subject of legal contention when a Nevada man alleged a dealer breached a sales contract after agreeing to a $3.5 million transaction. Malone's Chiron was a standout even among Bugatti's elite lineup, powered by an 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged W16 engine capable of 1,479 horsepower and a top speed of over 260 mph. However, it's just one example of the rapper's affinity for powerful and luxurious vehicles. His garage has also featured a Ford GT—also in white—purchased in 2021, a Lamborghini Urus from 2019, a white Aventador, and a Ford F-150 Super Snake. The unifying theme? All-white exteriors that reflect Malone's personal brand and flair. Though the Chiron is gone, Post Malone's passion for high-performance machines remains parked firmly in the fast lane.
