July 14 South Africa (Fairview) form analysis
Race 1 (1,200m) (1) CASINO KING is having his first taste of the Fairview Polytrack. He does set the standard for the race. (5) OLIVE OYL has been unlucky not to have won a race by now and should be right there in the finish once again. (6) WALTZING DOLL makes her debut. Keep an eye on her betting. (2) LARIUS LACUS was not beaten far in his three starts in KwaZulu-Natal and should be a threat. Race 2 (1,200m) Visiting trainer Justin Snaith has many decent chances on the card but (8) THE ROARING ROCK could be the best of them. He has yet to finish in the first four, but was not beaten far in some fair fields in the Western Cape, and that form usually holds up well. (7) BLIND FAITH ran a cracker on a soft track at Kenilworth in February. Returning from a break after transferring to Juan Nel's yard. (1) FLIGHT ENGINEER has been a disappointment in 2025 but does have a winning chance. (3) PRINCE ANTONIO showed improvement after a stable change and should fight out the finish. Race 3 (1,600m) (2) PIBE DE ORO struggled in Gauteng without finding success. He was runner-up three times and could win, after a change of trainer and trying the Polytrack. (1) GENTEEL is knocking hard at the door and should go close to winning a race of this nature. (6) PARDON ME has improved of late and should fight out the finish. (3) GLOBAL DRUMBEAT does seem better than his last run, albeit he lacks a strong kick. Race 4 (1,600m) (8) TAKE YOUR TIME has improved of late and is hinting at another win. Her trainer has her in good form and she gets a narrow vote to score. (7) ICE CAP has got close to winning a couple of times lately and has a winning chance. (5) LADY LUCK is in good form and clearly not out of it. (10) COLORAMA also has to be included in the exotics. Race 5 (1,600m) (5) ROYAL CITY GIRL was well beaten last time. But the runner-up has won impressively since then, so she must have a winning chance. (8) ARIVIDICIO is consistent and needs to be included in all combination bets. (2) GREEN OKRA was a very easy maiden winner last week and can follow up going a bit further. (3) JAMBO SANA has only been modest of late, but could like this extra distance and would not be a surprise winner. Race 6 (2,000m) Trainer Alan Greeff seems to have found the key to (2) MR FOX. He has been a very easy winner in his last two starts. A six-point penalty for his maiden win was followed up by a eight-point penalty for his impressive turf win. He can win again in a tougher field. (4) SLAINTE MHATH has been inconsistent but is not out of it. (8) RED WILLIAM is capable of making the frame when in the right mood. (1) HAROLD THE DUKE has lost his way of late but he has been in far stronger fields than this. He also ran well on this surface. Race 7 (1,400m) (1) MERCANTOUR is another horse that has thrived for Greeff. He was very impressive on this surface last time and can follow up. (2) SILVER FALCON has won twice on this surface and can threaten. (5) USA'S HOPE has done well on this surface of late and should contest the finish. (3) BUSH TRACKER has won four times on this surface and has a place chance. Race 8 (1,100m) (5) PRISCILLA MAISEY ran well above her rating last time and can win if she repeats that run. (2) ARTICUNO has been unlucky not to have won any of his last five starts and deserves a winning turn. (3) LE PREMIERE makes her local debut and can surprise. (8) ENCHANTING LADY is in good form and is yet another in with a winning chance.

June 20 South Africa (Fairview) form analysis
Race 1 (1,000m) (2) CASINO KING was scratched from an intended race at this course a couple of weeks ago. He is not reliable but can win a race like this. (1) BUFFALO BILL made a good local debut just earlier this month and should do even better this time. (4) ZAMBEZI SUNSET was only modest on debut but should be smarter after that first run under the belt, and can contest the finish. (9) SOMBREUIL showed improvement in her second start but this is a tougher race. Race 2 (1,400m) (6) SILVAN MISTRESS has been unlucky but does get another ideal opportunity. The Justin Snaith-trained (8) ZENA'S ACT showed improvement last time and does look the biggest threat to that rival. (1) DARLINGBUDSOFMAY improved last time and can contest the finish again. (4) GOLDEN CROC is improving and could like this course and distance or even further. Race 3 (1,400m) (15) EXALTED LOVE has held his form in the Western Cape. He should get the run of the race from his perfect drawn and looks the one to be with. (5) GOLDEN GREY has been a costly failure in his recent runs but can fight out the finish. (1) GRAND ALLEGRO won at Fairview on June 13 and can earn some money if backing up in this race. (2) AMERICAN MATADOR needs to do a lot more to win a race but can play a minor role. Race 4 (1,200m) (15) YOU'RE SO SPECIAL is knocking hard at the door and looked a bit unlucky not to win last time. She can go one better. (6) WINTER IN PARIS has lacked a strong finish but can contest. (5) TIME IN PARIS and (4) RUBY CLAIRE are both battling to get out of the maiden ranks but are capable of earning some money. Race 5 (1,000m) (2) CROWNED HORNBILL is improving and won his second race in a row at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth. He makes his local debut and can complete a hat-trick. (7) BEECHAMWOOD BOY showed improvement on local debut and could have more to offer. (6) EUROPEAN SUMMER returns from a break and can place. (8) CAPTAIN TIK TOK won a good race last time and could follow up. Race 6 (1,200m) (1) SPLICETHEMAINBRACE is the class act and can bounce back to win. (2) WINTER GREETING has not been showing her very best form but has a winning chance in this. (10) SONG OF MYSELF was full of running when winning last time. (11) HAPPY HOLLY is back on turf. Would not be a surprise winner. Race 7 (1,600m) (12) ENCHANTING CHOICE makes her local debut and it could well be a winning one. Stable companion (5) WALKONTHEWILDSIDE is not an easy ride but she does pack a strong finish. (7) EPIKLEROS is a lot better than what she has shown of late. (8) TREASURE HUNT is capable of playing minor roles. Race 8 (1,800m) (9) GREEN MANDARIN had no luck in running last time and could do a lot better this time. (4) JUAN CARLOS won a good race last time and there is no reason why he cannot follow up. (7) GIMME MORE TIME is also capable of earning. (2) PEACE IN OUR WORLD ran way above expectations earlier this month and would not be a surprise winner if repeating that performance.

June 6 South Africa (Fairview) form analysis
Race 1 (1,200m) An interesting start to the day. (2) CASINO KING has made the trip from the Western Cape. He should be a big player in this race. (11) YOU'RE SO SPECIAL showed promise on her debut and she should be winning her first race soon enough. Keep an eye on the betting as there are newcomers that are well bred. (9) STAR OF ELENA has run well in all three of her starts and can fight out the finish. (1) BUFFALO BILL looks all right among the first timers. Keep safe. Race 2 (1,000m) (6) NORTH STAR is an Erik The Red filly and she may well be ready to score on debut. (3) HAZE AND SMOKE is a Potala Palace filly who represents a trainer who can win on debut. (4) IVY showed improvement with blinkers on last time and is probably the best of the raced runners. (2) FOCAL POINT can be included in the exotics. Race 3 (1,000m) (3) ARTICUNO is knocking hard at the door and looks ready to score. (4) INDEBE MAYIBUYE is improving and can score again. (1) BASINGSTOKE needed her run on the Polytrack and should strip fitter this time and could surprise. (2) SWEETIE DARLING is not reliable but she is also not out of it. Race 4 (1,200m) (3) SONG OF MYSELF has had only five starts and she ran some promising races in the Western Cape. She sets the standard on her local debut. (1) ABOUND is better than his last run would suggest and is distance-suited, so should be included in all bets. (2) MASKED VIGILANTE is probably at his very best on the Polytrack but is also capable of winning on the turf. (9) GUARDING THE WALL is not reliabe but does also have a winning chance. Race 5 (1,400m) (2) MIDNIGHT MUSIC is improving and could go one better. (3) UMZOLOZOLO makes her local debut and should contest the finish. (7) PENNY'S WORLD is not out of this. (8) DANCING IN WINTER is in good form and can make the frame again. Race 6 (1,400m) (5) IGUGULETHU has won his last two starts but goes up in the weights. (6) FINAL TRY ran well on local debut and should be very competitive this time. (10) RUN THE WORLD showed some improvement last time and should have something to offer, having made the trip from Cape Town. (4) ONE SCOTCH makes his local debut and can surprise. Race 7 (2,000m) (1) MY BEST SHOT continues his impressive winning streak. He was a facile winner of the East Cape Derby last time and can win again. He is, however, out at the weights with his stable companion, (3) JOY AND PEACE. That filly won last year's East Cape Derby, so it is an interesting class. Joy And Peace seemed to find the distance too far for her last time and is at her very best around this distance. (2) ZATARA MAGIC is at the top of his game and will not go down without a fight. (5) GLOBAL ALLY is consistent and can earn some more money. Race 8 (2,400m) (4) FIRST WISH had stable companion (3) LOTUS ISLAND behind her when they met in the East Cape Derby and that form does look the pick of the race. First Wish has got better with each increase in distance and she should score. (6) GREENLITEALLTHEWAY will appreciate it back on the grass and could be a danger trying this longer distance. (2) WOMAN'S WORLD has not been at her best of late but could threaten if left alone up front. Race 9 (1,600m) (2) LADY SILVANO is probably at her very best over further but gets a narrow vote to score. (1) LUNA HALO has let her supporters down lately but could bounce back to win over a course and distance that suits her. (5) HONORABLE MEMBER found the distance a bit much last time and should be a threat to these rivals. (9) GRANDIOSA boasts two wins over the trip and should improve second-up.
