Top Reasons to Pursue a Certified ScrumMaster Certification Today

In today's dynamic business landscape, Agile frameworks are more than just buzzwords—they're core to delivering fast, high-quality results. Amid ongoing digital transformation, obtaining a Certified Scrum Master certification (CSM) is one of the best strategic moves for professionals aiming to lead teams, accelerate career growth, and drive meaningful outcomes in 2025 and beyond. A Certified Scrum Master often commands a significant salary lift over non-certified peers. Data from major tech markets shows: Mid-level CSM professionals earn between USD 95,000–120,000/year Senior Scrum Masters make USD 120,000–140,000 annually The boost isn't just financial—CSM holders frequently land promotions faster. Many organizations prioritize Agile hires for project leadership roles, creating more frequent advancement opportunities post-certification. Through CSM training, you gain deep understanding of the Scrum framework—including its roles, artifacts, and ceremonies. But the program goes beyond theory: You'll develop coaching skills to empower self-organizing teams. Learn to resolve conflict, foster collaboration, and ensure continuous improvement. Gain expertise in identifying and removing impediments that can derail delivery. These skills are highly transferable. In job interviews, CSM-certified professionals often stand out for their proven ability to manage Agile teams effectively. One of the most appealing aspects of pursuing CSM certification is its flexibility: A compact 2-day training workshop—perfect for working professionals. Training delivered both in-person and online with live facilitation. You receive exam access for up to 90 days post-training and can take it online at a convenient time. The one-hour, 50-question exam can be retaken once at no extra cost, providing a safety net for certification completion. Compared to lengthy programs like PMP, CSM certification is a fast, accessible path to Agile leadership credentials. Teams led by CSM-certified Scrum Masters consistently outperform expectations. Studies show Agile adoption positively correlates with project success metrics such as: Faster delivery, with 30% improvement in time-to-market Higher product quality, with 20% fewer defect tickets Stronger customer satisfaction due to iterative, value-based delivery Organizations seeking reliable delivery and continuous value creation frequently prioritize hiring certified Scrum Masters to guide those outcomes. Certified Scrum Masters excel at building high-performing, cross-functional teams. They bring: Servant leadership that helps Development, QA, and Product teams collaborate effectively. Facilitation skills to align stakeholders and promote visibility throughout the delivery cycle. Culture-building capabilities that spread Agile best practices across the organization. By embedding Scrum practices at scale, CSM professionals help create resilient organizations ready to pivot when market conditions shift. Once achieved, CSM certification is recognized worldwide and by most industries—from tech and finance to retail, healthcare, and logistics. Its broad lineage ensures portability: Degree or domain irrelevant—certification proves you're skilled in Agile leadership. Opens doors globally—wherever Agile transformation is underway, Certified Scrum Masters are in demand. Enables mobility across roles (Scrum Master, Agile Coach) and geographies, from startups to Fortune 500 firms. Earning your Certified Scrum Master certification isn't the end—it's the beginning of an engaged global community: You gain access to Scrum Alliance resources—webinars, forums, local meetups. Certification holders can attend Scrum gatherings, deepen Agile knowledge, and network with peers. Many training providers offer mentorship, job assistance, and coach-led workshops for further growth. As technology accelerates through AI, automation, remote work, and IoT, organizations must stay nimble. The need for leaders who can guide Agile transformation is only increasing: Certified Scrum Masters become crucial change agents. They connect work with outcomes and maintain transparency during shifts. They advocate for continuous delivery and iterative improvement. With certification and ongoing Agile mindset, you're well positioned for career longevity and impact. US Salary Averages: Entry-level CSM: USD 95,000 Senior Scrum Master: USD 130,000+ Pay raises & promotions: 25% of newly certified CSMs report promotions within a year Job listings: 150% increase in Agile-related roles post-pandemic, especially in FinTech, Healthcare IT, and eCommerce sectors If you aspire to shape team dynamics, deliver value quickly, and lead Agile adoption, Certified Scrum Master certification is a powerful enabler. Quarterback Jake Retzlaff makes decision on his BYU future after rape allegations

Jake Retzlaff is planning on leaving the BYU football program after admitting to having premarital sex – a violation of the school's honor code – and facing a seven-game suspension to start next season, according to multiple reports. The quarterback made the admission as part of a response to a civil lawsuit which alleges that Retzlaff had raped a woman at his Provo, Utah home in 2023. 3 Jake Retzlaff of the Brigham Young Cougars rushes the ball in the third quarter against the UCF Knights at FBC Mortgage Stadium on October 26, 2024 in Orlando, Florida. Getty Images During a meeting last week, Retzlaff had been informed that he would likely face suspension for breaking the honor code and began telling members of the football program that he had the intention to leave the school. Retzlaff has already cleaned out his locker at the Student Athlete Building and is expected to publicly announce his decision to play elsewhere later this week, Desert News reported. He had been with the team and was taking part in summer workouts, according to ESPN. A Utah woman filed the lawsuit last month, alleging Retzlaff raped, strangled and bit her during the November 2023 encounter. Retzlaff's lawyer denied the allegations in a legal response on Friday. 'Mr. Retzlaff specifically and categorically denies each and every and all allegations that he bit, raped or strangled AG, which are ridiculous and bizarre allegations, all of which are false and untrue,' part of the response read. 3 BYU Quarterback Jake Retzlaff (12) pre-game Media Press Conference at the NCAA Valero Alamo Bowl against Colorado at the Alamodome. The woman and football player connected through social media and this led her to come over to play video games on or around Nov. 22, 2023. The woman arrived with friends and several friends and teammates of Retzlaff were at the house, but later in the evening, after the woman's friends left, Retzlaff and the female started watching a movie and began to kiss, according to the suit. 3 Jake Retzlaff (12) of the BYU Cougars in action at the NCAA Valero Alamo Bowl against the Colorado Buffaloes at the Alamodome. San Antonio, Mario Cantu/CSM / Shutterstock 'At some point they began to kiss, but Jane Doe A.G. did not want to do anything more,' the lawsuit stated. 'Retzlaff began escalating the situation … and Jane Doe A.G. tried to de-escalate the situation and attempted to slow things down, trying to pull away, and saying 'wait.' She did not want to do anything sexual with him.' Despite attempts to say 'no' and 'wait, stop' Retzlaff forced himself on her, according to the suit, and put his hands around her neck and then raped her. Retzlaff has denied the allegations. The California native took over the starting job last season and threw 2,947 yards for 20 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.

Intelerad Launches Bold Transformation in Client Experience Grounded in Accountability, Action, and Obsession with Client Satisfaction

Company-wide initiative puts partners first with expanded support, strategic resources, and human-centered service improvements. Raleigh, NC, June 24, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Intelerad, a global leader in medical imaging software solutions, has implemented a company-wide transformation in how it supports and partners with clients. Intelerad's rapid growth phase, which included multiple acquisitions over a two-year period and a fast-paced scaling of operations, outpaced the company's ability to consistently deliver the high-touch experience that its clients had come to expect. As a result, some clients experienced strain during this period – prompting Intelerad to take action. Direct client feedback was the catalyst for Intelerad's strategic shift from a traditional client service model to a newly implemented company-wide Client Obsession Initiative, which focuses on proactive engagement, innovation, and measurable value at every interaction. Through candid conversations, rigorous internal evaluation, and a renewed commitment to meaningful change, Intelerad is taking bold steps to redefine how it supports and partners with clients. 'We understand that clients have experienced real frustration as the company expanded. We've heard their feedback. That's unacceptable, and we're owning our missteps,' said Eric Grunden, Chief Client Officer, who recently joined Intelerad to lead client experience improvements and drive operational excellence across all client-facing teams. 'This transformation is a turning point, not just a set of tweaks, but instead a comprehensive shift in how we engage, support, and grow with our clients from day one.' The Client Obsession initiative goes beyond responding to support requests and prioritizes the proactive identification of infrastructure issues before they escalate, enabling Intelerad's newly enhanced frontline staff to offer clear, actionable answers from the first point of contact. In addition to providing clients with access to senior leadership whenever needed, the organization is ensuring the voices of its clients inform relevant strategic decisions and Intelerad's evolution as a solution provider. The changes, buoyed by additional investments in new tools and technologies, are far-reaching and human-centered, designed to remove friction and deliver value at every interaction. Chief among the updates is an intense focus on Intelerad's Client Success Management (CSM) team, including a better CSM-to-client ratio for more personalized assistance and the creation of a Critical Care Team. The new team provides rapid responses for urgent needs while keeping CSM representatives' attention on high-quality service delivery and long-term relationship building. Intelerad has also reorganized and bolstered its Client Support Team and is working toward the goal of having 75% of the team consist of senior-level professionals with deep expertise in PACS and healthcare. By identifying and addressing internal bottlenecks, Intelerad has empowered its teams to take immediate action without complex approval processes. To further speed up resolutions and eliminate repeat issues, the company rolled out playbooks, advanced training programs, flexible protocols, and a growing AI-driven support system. This also includes newly created 'hyper care' pathways for clients where needed, providing direct-to-tier-2 support, executive sponsorship, and proactive environment monitoring. Intelerad's efforts to continuously refine the client experience have already yielded positive results. The company has surpassed several milestones, including: Significantly improved customer satisfaction (CSAT) score to above 90% Reduced client dissatisfaction scores (DSAT) by 72% year over year Nearly doubled its Net Promoter Score (NPS) with a 97% increase since 2022 and 90% year-over-year improvement Increased survey participation by 321% to amplify client feedback and support ongoing performance optimization efforts Rather than a one-time reset, Intelerad is committed to an ongoing effort to build trust, fortify relationships, and support clients at every step. With strong teams, a stability strategy in place, and a unified vision, the company is eager to move forward with intention and accountability. 'This is just the beginning,' Grunden emphasized. 'Client Obsession is not a campaign; it's a cultural shift. We're not chasing a finish line. We're building lasting partnerships rooted in progress, trust, and shared outcomes. I want our clients to say, 'Things are better today than they were yesterday. There were issues, but this partnership is the solution we need, and it just works.'' About Intelerad Intelerad is one of the leading medical imaging software platforms for the healthcare industry. Nearly 2,500 healthcare organizations around the world rely on Intelerad products to manage patient data, improve imaging efficiency and quality, and elevate patient outcomes. A father's love: Man stands by daughter battling brain tumour

JITRA: While many fathers were celebrated with gifts and warm wishes yesterday, Mohd Shahrizal Zainuddin spent Father's Day by the side of his two-year-old daughter, Nur Naaila Shaheen, who is battling a life-threatening brain tumour. The 33-year-old said his world was turned upside down last month when doctors confirmed that his youngest child was suffering from a tumour at the base of her brain, which had caused her head to swell due to fluid buildup. "As a father, I'm doing everything I can for my daughter. My wife and I take turns taking leave from work just to care for her around the clock," he said when met by Harian Metro at their home in Kampung Telok Malek. Naaila was first taken to Klinik Desa Telok Malek after she repeatedly struggled with her balance. The case was later referred to the Jitra Health Clinic, which subsequently directed the couple to Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital (HSB) in Alor Star for further tests. "At HSB, the specialists conducted a CT scan and other examinations. That was when they found fluid in her brain," said Shahrizal. Doctors later confirmed that Naaila was suffering from posterior fossa tumour with hydrocephalus, a type of brain tumour located near the base of the skull. The condition caused a buildup of fluid in her brain, leading to swelling, muscle spasms, trembling hands, impaired vision, and loss of motor functions. Part of the fluid was drained during a procedure at HSB on May 19. However, doctors have informed the family that she will require surgery to remove the tumour this coming August. Shahrizal, who takes on odd jobs such as driving a padi harvester, said his income is irregular. His wife, Nur Najwa Mohd Azlan, 29, is a full-time homemaker. "Since she fell ill, we've been making regular trips to the hospital for her check-ups and physiotherapy. Travelling alone eats into much of our limited finances," he said. The couple also has a nine-year-old son, Sharif Najmi, who is still in school. In conjunction with Father's Day, Cancer Survivors Malaysia (CSM) visited the family to recognise Shahrizal's unwavering dedication. CSM chairperson Zuraini Kamal said the group presented the family with financial aid and basic necessities to help ease their burden. "We will also be providing them with a larger stroller to make it easier for them to bring Nur Naaila for her treatments," she said.

80,000 students participate in Cybersafe in schools programme

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Indian Transformation Unit (Mitra), in collaboration with CyberSecurity Malaysia (CSM), today launched the CyberSAFE in Schools Programme as part of efforts to enhance digital safety awareness among students. The programme, officiated by Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Federal Territories) Datuk Seri Dr Zaliha Mustafa, targets the participation of more than 80,000 students aged between 10 and 17 from 500 schools, comprising 200 Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Tamil (SJKT) and 300 Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) across nine states. Dr Zaliha said the programme was aimed at raising awareness and building students' resilience against cyber threats, including online grooming, cyberbullying, online sexual exploitation, the spread of fake news, and the irresponsible use of social media. 'This programme will be implemented over a period of 15 months, involving 500 schools across nine states. It is timely, as cyber threats are an issue that must be addressed from a young age. 'Children need to be taught about cyber security and the actions they can take to protect themselves,' she said after launching the programme at SJKT Thamboosamy Pillai here. Also present were MITRA Special Task Force Committee chairman P. Prabakaran, who is also the Batu MP and CSM chief executive officer Datuk Dr Amirudin Abdul Wahab. The CyberSAFE in Schools programme, which began last month, is conducted interactively over two hours, covering topics such as safe internet usage, social media ethics, password management and the psychological impact of excessive screen time. The programme also emphasises guidance on identifying false information, in addition to channels for reporting cyber incidents and seeking support. Meanwhile, Amirudin said the programme offered students comprehensive exposure to various aspects of cybersecurity, with their understanding assessed indirectly through quizzes and questions posed by speakers. 'This approach is intended to help students become more aware, gain a deeper understanding, and apply cybersecurity knowledge in their daily lives,' he told Bernama. He added that three or four students from each school would also be appointed as CyberSAFE ambassadors, who would be trained to serve as agents of change and peer references on cybersecurity issues.
