Influencer Skye Wheatley reveals how she is relying on AI - and using it to treat her mental health issues
Skye Wheatley has revealed that she has been using artificial intelligence (AI) to assist her with her mental health. The 30-year-old reality star, who recently admitted to having ADHD, has shared the AI-generated insights with her 646K followers on Instagram. Posting to her stories, Skye said she has been 'asking' ChatGPT 'advice' about complex issues such as Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD) a condition linked to ADHD. 'Okay last post,' she said on a recent share, adding, 'I've been to therapy and Chat GPT is my fave counsellor so,' she joked signing the message with three smiley emojis. The post included a list of go-to coping strategies including 'Mindful self-compassion' - which advised Skye to speak to herself as 'she would to her son' - in order to not become overwhelmed with 'inner critical voices'. ChatGPT also advised Skye to practice 'self-forgiveness' and 'connection with other ADHD women and parents'. 'Back in my day, it (ADHD) wasn't like a well known thing and it wasn't a positive thing,' the former reality star said during a recent episode of her Skye and Callum. During the session she told co-host Callum Hole that she was diagnosed with the condition at the age of five. She continued, 'Now-a-days I feel like it's a strength because it means that you're good creatively, or you're good at social stuff like this, and there's more job opportunities for people who do struggle intellectually.' In another video post Skye shared her fears that she might be autistic. 'I honestly feel like, even though I have ADHD, I feel like I might also be on the spectrum,' she said. 'Because of noises, I really struggle with noises and movement. I can't, my brain is just (sound effects of an explosion). Even the TV going on right now, oh my God, I am so triggered.' Skye recently admitted she suffers from body dysmorphia after getting a controversial fox eye lift surgery and several other procedures in Turkey. Posting to her stories, Skye said she has been 'asking' ChatGPT 'advice' about complex issues such as Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD) a condition linked to ADHD. Pictured: A recent post from Skye The social media star, cried in an emotional video posted to TikTok and admitted the illness is 'probably why' she's had so many cosmetic procedures, adding she was terrified her two sons will eventually suffer from the same condition. 'I know that I'm probably mentally ill and I know that I have body dysmorphia,' The I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! 2024 winner said. 'I just put a lot of pressure on myself to be perfect. That would kill me and break my heart if my kids went through that. 'I do not want them to go through that.' She also opened up about her failed childhood dreams and admitted she had 'daddy issues'. 'When I was little, I wanted to be a famous singer. I dreamed of being a famous singer, but as I got older and older I doubted myself more,' she said. 'I always had this little voice in my head saying "You're not good enough". 'Maybe that's daddy issues, I don't know. But I've always been like this. I've always had this voice in my head saying "you're not good enough".' The podcaster rose to fame on the 2014 iteration of the reality TV juggernaut, Big Brother.

Skye Wheatley's secret feud with fellow Big Brother star EXPOSED as fan favourite hits back
Skye Wheatley has revealed a secret feud with a fellow former Big Brother star. The I'm A Celebrity winner, 30, rose to fame on the 2014 iteration of the reality TV juggernaut. She was due to make a return to the show in 2022, but was dumped prior to filming after making a controversial sex confession online. Speaking about the incident with Callum Hole on their Skye & Callum Nova podcast, she claimed that Big Brother star Tim Dormer was partly responsible for her unceremonious axing. 'I got hit up to go back on [Big Brother] and then basically this big online scandal thing happened… it blew up. I got heaps of hate,' she said. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'You know, all my sponsors were dropping me like it was a f**ked time in my life. 'I got an email the next day from the producers, and they were like, "Hey, sorry. We've decided not to put her in the mix." I was f**king heartbroken, like, devastated.' However, Skye went on to claim that after she won the 2024 iteration of I'm A Me Out Of Here!, she heard through the grapevine that Tim had a hand in Skye being booted from the show. 'After I'm A Celeb, Ben Morris [manager] interviewed me, and he said that apparently Tim Dormer, which was another Big Brother guy who was going in the house that year... apparently he said, "if you put Skye in the house, I'm not doing it". So they obviously chose him,' she claimed. Skye added that while she had no proof, she was sure that Tim already harboured ill feelings towards her. 'I don't know if there's truth to that, but he hated me,' she said. 'I don't know if he was jealous but I just knew he did not like me.' Skye added that the reason for the apparent feud was Tim felt Skye had 'stolen the limelight' after he came out as gay on Instagram. 'I even brought it up to him one time – I said, "What's your problem with me? I'm sensing some animosity here,"' she said. 'His reasoning was I tried to take the limelight on his coming out post because I commented and said, "Congratulations I'm so proud of you for coming out." I was just trying to be nice.' Despite Skye's claims, she added that she harboured no ill will toward the 2013 Big brother winner. 'I still love him,' she said. 'He's an entertaining guy. I don't have any bad feelings toward him.' Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, Tim hit back at Skye's claims, slamming the reality star as 'fake'. 'I'm tired of people using my name to try and associate some meaning to their own lives – especially when it comes to anyone in front or behind the camera of the delusional world of reality TV,' Tim said. 'That experience caused me a decade of trauma thinking anything of that world had meaning. 'She's fake as f*** and that's what it takes to survive that version of 'reality'. He continued: 'I wish her well on her recovery journey back to reality, the world is tired of being force-fed the delusions coming from idols of yesterday. That world is clearly falling and people are waking up to what really matters. I hope she can find her authentic voice once day like I have.' Skye previously claimed she was axed from Channel Seven's reboot of Big Brother back in 2022 after making a controversial sex confession. The influencer said she was set to star in Big Brother two years ago, alongside fan favourites Reggie Bird, Tim Dormer, Tully Smyth and Layla Subritzky. But she was booted from the season 14 show just weeks out from filming after posting an 'insensitive' joke on Instagram about her sex life with boyfriend Lachlan Waugh. 'I was supposed to go on for that, but a couple of weeks before flying to Sydney to do it, I answered a question on my Instagram, "Who's more dominant in the bedroom?",' she told 'And I said, "Oh, it depends … If I'm in the mood, I'm not going to take no for an answer." But he likes that. He likes when I'm like, "Babe, let's have sex." 'But everyone was like, "You make him have non-consensual sex."' Skye later received an email from producers telling her she'd been axed from the show. 'They said, "Hey, we're not going to go ahead with putting you in." They wouldn't tell me the reason but, that had to be the reason,' she added. 'They didn't want bad publicity or anything like that, which was really disappointing. It actually broke my heart.' In 2021, Skye joked during a Q&A with fans that she demands sex from Lachlan even when he isn't in the mood. When asked who was more dominant in bed, Skye responded: 'Hahahahaha me... but only when he's mad and says he doesn't want to have sex.' 'Hahahahaha ain't nobody telling me no... I won't take no for an answer if I want sexy time,' she added. The reality star's comments clearly upset some of her fans, as she returned to the platform less than 24 hours later to issue a grovelling apology. The mother of two apologised for her 'insensitive, triggering' words and promised to think twice before making similar jokes in the future.

Skye Wheatley makes shock confession about her sexuality: 'I could have gone down that path'
Skye Wheatley made a surprising admission about her sexuality on Thursday during the latest episode of her Nova FM podcast Skye & Callum. The influencer, 31, shares sons Forest, five, and Bear, three, with her current long-time partner of eight years Lachlan Waugh. But the former Big Brother star has now confessed she may be 'pansexual' and would have explored that side of herself more if she never started dating Lachlan. Co-host Callum Hole kicked off the conversation by saying: 'So obviously, you've been with Lachie for a while.' 'Yes, eight years, going strong,' she told the former Love Island star, revealing they had their first child together just four months after they started dating. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'Eight years, when you were 25. But I did hear something that if you had more time, then you might have explored your sexuality a little bit more?' he asked. Skye agreed, revealing she learned about pansexuality while watching the Stan reality TV show Love Triangle. 'I didn't know what pansexuality was until watching this show,' she said. 'But basically you are attracted to the person's personality, not what sex they are… you could be attracted to anyone, but you're attracted to their personality.' Callum, 27, clarified: 'So pansexual is basically, you're trying to say, you're not attracted to their sex, you're just attracted to their personality?' 'Yes, their personality and, like, who they are as a person and stuff,' Skye said, before revealing that is how she views her own attraction to people. 'And I'm like, oh yeah, totally. I think that I could go down that path because I definitely see people's personalities before their looks or their sex. 'So I feel like I could maybe explore that, or I could have, not now obviously, but I could have maybe gone down that path.' 'I find it really interesting, because I'm like, yeah, totally... I definitely connect with people's personalities,' she added. The confession comes after Skye and Lachlan, 34, caused confusion in November 2024 when they shared loved-up photos just days after announcing their split. The pair looked very cosy in pictures shared to Instagram, which appeared to be taken during a night out. She wrote cryptically in her caption: 'Can't say we didn't live life.' Skye stunned in the photos as she showed off the results of her recent eye lift surgery while Lachlan kissed her on the cheek. Further photos showed the influencer couple embracing as if nothing was amiss in their romance. The stunner drank a cocktail and posed up a storm, clearly relaxed and back in love with Lachlan despite their recent domestic issues. Just days earlier, Skye confirmed she had separated from her partner. The Gold Coast-based mum-of-two explained the reason Lachlan had not appeared in her recent Q&A videos was because they decided to take time apart. 'Honestly not much to report. We just have a lil re-set break from time to time, it's good,' she told her fans. The former reality star has previously spoken at length about the couple's struggles and admitted they have recently been going to counselling. She said 2024 was all about achieving goals, a journey which included addressing the challenges in her relationship with Lachlan. 'Lachy and I went to a counselling session yesterday,' Skye said. The session, initially intended as occupational therapy for their son Forest, turned into a much-needed intervention for the couple. Skye's realised their son's behaviour could be influenced by their relationship dynamics and it prompted her to take action.

Skye Wheatley reveals the eye-watering amount she has spent on cosmetic surgery
Skye Wheatley has revealed the shocking total figure she has spent undergoing cosmetic surgeries in her life. The I'm a Celebrity! winner, 31, spilled the personal detail to her co-host Callum Hole, 27, on the second episode of their new Nova podcast Skye & Callum. Skye estimates the total cost of her cosmetic enhancements is close to half a million dollars. 'Honestly, I would say all up maybe $200,000,' Skye said at first. However, after factoring in 'heaps of' cosmetic procedures such as laser skin treatments, Botox which she says costs $300 to $400 per session, and fillers such as Profhilo which can cost $500 per session, she admitted the total would be more than double: 'But if we're going off my life, I'm going to say $500,000.' From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Skye is a vocal advocate for transparency about her 'entirely unnatural' appearance in the social media space. The Australian influencer has courted controversy for admitting to having liposuction, rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty (where they cut the saggy eye lid skin and sew it together), multiple boob jobs, as well as her headline grabbing fox eye lift in Turkey last September. Some of these procedures, she has previously admitted, were undertaken against the advice of her plastic surgeon. 'The latest surgery that I've had done is the temporal lift - so the fox eye - and I went to Turkey to have that done which is pretty traumatic if I'm being completely honest,' she told Callum. 'Overall, I'm stoked [with the result].' However, when she first woke up, Skye was 'blind for three days' and couldn't walk because she was catheterised and 'dosed up on morphine'. 'Couldn't walk. Couldn't move. I needed to vomit,' and what's more she couldn't speak to the nurses because 'no one spoke English'. 'I was screaming help. I don't know what I would've done if I hadn't gone with a friend,' she said. The fox eye lift surgery, designed to mimic the red carpet look of the same name, has pulled back the outer corner of her eyes to have the almond shape usually achieved with dramatic eye make-up. Skye's longtime partner Lachlan Waugh told her she looked 'f**king horrific' post op and her kids said she looked 'so scary.' 'That's horror movie spec,' Callum agreed. Skye was forced to address accusations of a plastic surgery addiction shortly after she announced she was travelling to Turkey last year. 'Really not being a hater - but YOU'RE the exact reason girls have self esteem issues,' one follower wrote on her Instagram. 'I want to be completely open and honest about everything that I'm having done because I don't want young girls to look at me and think I'm natural because I'm not,' Skye said. 'I don't want young girls to look at me and think they have to do that in order to feel beautiful. I wasn't born like this and I'm not going to get online and fake it. I'm honest about having body dysmorphia.' Body dysmoprhia, or body dysmorphic disorder, is a mental illness where sufferers obsessively focus on a perceived flaw in appearance. The flaw may be minor or imagined, but a person with BDD may spend hours a day trying to fix it. According to the American Psychiatric Association, people with BDD 'often seek unnecessary surgical interventions'. 'I've always been like this,' Skye admitted, saying her obsession with 'tweaking' her body began in primary school. Callum, who rose to fame on Love Island in 2022, joked that if Skye had a book of all her surgeries, 'it would be like a Bible,' and because of her propensity for surgeries 'Lachy's got a new girlfriend every couple of months.' After Skye entered the public eye on Big Brother in 2014, the first surgery she had done was a breast augmentation in Thailand that almost resulted in 'three boobs.' 'It was through some CosMedi tour. You know, the Australian companies that fly you over to Thailand because it's cheaper and it was a massive disaster,' she recalled. She then had her nose reconstructed before having her two sons, Forest, six, and Bear, three, before 'getting my boobs done again.' 'When I woke up, I felt like a truck had been dropped on my chest both times,' Skye said. Skye went back under the needle, less than six months after getting the 'fox eye lift' and several other beauty enhancement procedures in Turkey last year. The influencer starred in a promotional video for Gold Coast cosmetic injectables clinic, sharing the results of her new side profile to Instagram on after getting 'chin filler.' Chin fillers involve injecting temporary dermal fillers, which are gel-like substances, into the soft tissues of the jaw to create a stronger jawline. In addition to her fox eye lift, which she said made her look like an 'angry bird', Skye also had liposuction on her arms and inner thighs, a temporal lift and a blepharoplasty. A temporal lift is a fat transfer into the face to prevent the need for injectable dermal fillers and a blepharoplasty is an eyelid surgery. In Australia, the cosmetic surgery industry brought in a number of rigorous reforms backed by practitioners in July 2023 and further reforms will be introduced in September 2025 to restrict the number of under 18s undergoing procedures.

Skye Wheatley reveals how much she's spent on plastic surgery as she details most ‘horrific' one yet
Skye Wheatley has spoken candidly about all the surgeries she's had in the past, even revealing the whopping total amount she has spent so far. Speaking on her new Nova Podcast Skye & Callum with co-host Callum Hole, the 31-year-old estimates that she has probably spent close to half a million dollars in her quest for perfection. 'Honestly, I would say all up maybe $200,000,' she shared before factoring in cosmetic procedures such as skin treatments, Botox which she says costs $300 to $400 a pop, and fillers such as profhilo which can cost $500 a pop. 'But if we're going off my life, I'm going to say $500,000,' she added in the episode, released today. Wheatley also shared her surgery journey with co-host Hole, who rose to fame on Love Island Australia in 2022. He joked that if she had a book for all her surgeries, it 'would be like a bible'. The social media star recalled going under the knife for the first time to have breast augmentation surgery after her breakout stint on Big Brother in 2014 – a surgery that almost ended with her having 'three boobs'. 'I went to Thailand for that. I went through some CosMedi Tour thing. You know, the Australian companies that fly you over to Thailand because it's cheaper,' she said. 'So I had that done and that was a massive disaster. I ended up getting double bubble, so I had like a massive lump.' 'I literally had three boobs, actually. That's the best way to describe it.' Wheatley would go on to have breast revision surgery after having her two sons, as well as rhinoplasty, liposuction and blepharoplasty, a procedure that improves the appearance of the eyelids by removing excess skin and fat surrounding it. The reality star underwent another procedure in the last year: canthoplasty, which is commonly known as a fox eye lift. Wheatley said she had this done in Turkey after being recommended a surgeon by fellow users on Instagram. 'The reason I went to this Turkish doctor is that I had spoken to three girls in Australia who had had it done. And I'm like OK, he's gotta be good,' she said. 'Did my research and all of that and I was like. 'Yep, that's definitely going to be my surgeon.' I had full trust.' That's not to say she didn't find the experience 'nerve-racking', revealing she had never 'been so nervous to be put to sleep before'. And her fears were warranted because when she woke up from the procedure, she couldn't see and it was 'horrific' due to the language barrier, even with an interpreter. 'I was blind for three days. No one spoke any English,' she says of waking up in a Turkish hospital. 'So I couldn't see anything, my face was bandaged.' Wheatley is thankful she travelled there with a friend named Elle, who came running in the hospital when she needed help. 'I woke up from surgery fully blind – I couldn't see. The nurses would come in speaking their language and I'm trying to talk to them and we could not understand each other,' she recalled. 'I couldn't walk, couldn't move, fully blind and I was screaming help.' With the help of Elle and being dosed up on Morphine for three days, Wheatley was able to recover and travel back home to Australia, where she was spotted out and about in Brisbane with bandages still on her face last September. Although she says it takes at least 6 to 12 months to completely heel for her fox eye lift, the star is happy with the outcome so far. Wheatley says she's planning on yet more surgery, and plans to have her pingueculas cut off – a procedure where the small growth in the sides of your eyes is removed. 'I wish that I had a magical mirror that I could look into and be like, 'OK, longer hair, longer lashes, no freckles …' It's f***ed. I'm sorry I don't know why I'm like that,' she said of wanting to constantly change her look. 'I've always just had an interest in tweaking. I find it so fascinating.'
