Skye Wheatley makes shock confession about her sexuality: 'I could have gone down that path'

Daily Mail2 days ago

Skye Wheatley made a surprising admission about her sexuality on Thursday during the latest episode of her Nova FM podcast Skye & Callum.
The influencer, 31, shares sons Forest, five, and Bear, three, with her current long-time partner of eight years Lachlan Waugh.
But the former Big Brother star has now confessed she may be 'pansexual' and would have explored that side of herself more if she never started dating Lachlan.
Co-host Callum Hole kicked off the conversation by saying: 'So obviously, you've been with Lachie for a while.'
'Yes, eight years, going strong,' she told the former Love Island star, revealing they had their first child together just four months after they started dating.

'Eight years, when you were 25. But I did hear something that if you had more time, then you might have explored your sexuality a little bit more?' he asked.
Skye agreed, revealing she learned about pansexuality while watching the Stan reality TV show Love Triangle.
'I didn't know what pansexuality was until watching this show,' she said.
'But basically you are attracted to the person's personality, not what sex they are… you could be attracted to anyone, but you're attracted to their personality.'
Callum, 27, clarified: 'So pansexual is basically, you're trying to say, you're not attracted to their sex, you're just attracted to their personality?'
'Yes, their personality and, like, who they are as a person and stuff,' Skye said, before revealing that is how she views her own attraction to people.
'And I'm like, oh yeah, totally. I think that I could go down that path because I definitely see people's personalities before their looks or their sex.
'So I feel like I could maybe explore that, or I could have, not now obviously, but I could have maybe gone down that path.'
'I find it really interesting, because I'm like, yeah, totally... I definitely connect with people's personalities,' she added.
The confession comes after Skye and Lachlan, 34, caused confusion in November 2024 when they shared loved-up photos just days after announcing their split.
The pair looked very cosy in pictures shared to Instagram, which appeared to be taken during a night out.
She wrote cryptically in her caption: 'Can't say we didn't live life.'
Skye stunned in the photos as she showed off the results of her recent eye lift surgery while Lachlan kissed her on the cheek.
Further photos showed the influencer couple embracing as if nothing was amiss in their romance.
The stunner drank a cocktail and posed up a storm, clearly relaxed and back in love with Lachlan despite their recent domestic issues.
Just days earlier, Skye confirmed she had separated from her partner.
The Gold Coast-based mum-of-two explained the reason Lachlan had not appeared in her recent Q&A videos was because they decided to take time apart.
'Honestly not much to report. We just have a lil re-set break from time to time, it's good,' she told her fans.
The former reality star has previously spoken at length about the couple's struggles and admitted they have recently been going to counselling.
She said 2024 was all about achieving goals, a journey which included addressing the challenges in her relationship with Lachlan.
'Lachy and I went to a counselling session yesterday,' Skye said.
The session, initially intended as occupational therapy for their son Forest, turned into a much-needed intervention for the couple.
Skye's realised their son's behaviour could be influenced by their relationship dynamics and it prompted her to take action.

Damon Heta reveals he wanted to ‘run into the crowd and do something silly' at US Darts Masters

DAMON HETA revealed he considered running into the crowd during a stellar debut at Madison Square Garden. The World No.10 got his US Darts Masters campaign off to a flying start with a 6-1 demolition over Jim Long. 1 Heta, 37, thumped in three 180s and hit 50 per cent of his doubles on the way to victory. Australian thrower Heta has featured in World Series shows in his homeland but is now soaking up every moment of the experience in the Iconic Venue at the Big Apple. He said: 'I had some fun up there. I don't know if you noticed. It was insane. You just wanted to hit 180s because the crowd wanted it. 'I denied them a few times, got booed a few times, but once I hit one, let it rain, let it pour, it was insane. 'That was brilliant, that was electric. I just really enjoyed myself up there and that's what I wanted to come and do. My darts were flowing, so I was definitely happy to get the win on my first time here.' He added: 'I got confused there because it wasn't just your normal walk on. You had to start from the side and then walk in and there's no barricades, there's no nothing. 'I was like, oh, we're not just sitting there signing, we're just in the mix and there was a moment where I thought: You know what, I might just run into the crowd and do something silly! 'But then I think there might have been a fine and my wife said not to and I was like: Alright, I'll keep it simple and who knows, maybe tomorrow I'll keep the security on their guard!' Former World Cup winner Heta is proud to feature in the event after climbing the world rankings. He revealed: 'It's probably with reason. You've got to earn your spot, earn your ways and earn your time and, obviously, whether one or two dropped out and that's the way I got my spot, that's fair do's. 'Not the proudest moment of my life' - Darts star Rob Cross breaks silence on £450k tax issue that led to ban 'Even if I didn't get it, that's just fair play for the people that are here, they earned their ways and that's what it is. 'When you get in those top echelons, you're not just there on or whatever, you're there because you've put in the hard times and you've done what you needed to do to get there. 'So I'm taking it for all that it is as well. I'm not taking it for granted.' Heta has been in good form this year as he picked up the Players Championship 13 title. He nearly clinched his second Euro Tour title but fell short to Nathan Aspinall in the final of the European Darts Open earlier this month.

MAFS stars Awhina Rutene and Billy Belcher reveal surprising new collaboration amid romance speculation: 'Gonna be spicy!'

Married At First Sight stars Awhina Rutene and Billy Belcher have revealed a surprising collaboration. Just under three months after their stint on the Channel Nine reality juggernaut, the pair are making a return to the small screen. This time around though, they'll be helping Perth-based singletons find love in a new YouTube dating series called 1Rose. Announcing the upcoming series on Instagram with a casting call this week, organisers revealed that the series was an extension of their intimate, speed-dating events. 'If you've been to our events, you know the experience,' the announcement post read. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'But for the show, we're switching things up with a fresh new setting, exciting new elements, and unexpected twists.' The post went on to explain that each show would feature 16 singles looking for a potential love match. 'At the end of the night, you'll have your 1ROSE to give to someone who sparked your interest,' the post concluded. Commenting on the announcement, Billy, 32, wrote: 'Gonna be spicy, this!' while Awhina, 30, simply offered three love heart emojis. Neither MAFS star will be in the running, however, with Billy taking on the role of host while Awhina handles the commentary duties. Speaking to Perth Now about the new venture, Awhina said the fast-paced events would take a lot of the 'grunt work' out of awkward social situations. 'It's not like when you go to a bar or nightclub and you're trying to gauge whether someone's in a relationship or not, and whether they're just out for fun,' she said. 'And then there's also those questions that you don't necessarily ask when you're out at a bar. So I guess it takes a lot of the grunt work out of it.' The publication also reported that the events would feature many twists and turns, including cash prizes, surprise rounds, and hidden matches for each participant, based on pre-selected criteria. Awhina added that her MAFS co-star could not wait to take on hosting duties, likening him to a 'golden retriever at the moment.' 'I know it's a dating event, and the singles are there to get to know each other, but Billy likes to be the main character,' she said. The announcement comes amid speculation that Awhina and Billy are more than friends. Most recently, the pair sent the rumour mill into overdrive after enjoying a cosy date night in Perth earlier this month. Awhina shared a series of loved-up snaps on Instagram with Billy during an outing to The Garden in Perth – further igniting speculation that their friendship has turned romantic. In one mirror selfie taken in an elevator, Awhina looked sensational in a figure-hugging black mini dress with long sleeves, her sleek brunette hair cascading past her shoulders. Beside her, Billy cut a rugged figure in a sleeveless black top that showed off his tattooed arms, as he embraced Awhina from behind and beamed at the camera. 'It's not like when you go to a bar or nightclub and you're trying to gauge whether someone's in a relationship or not, and whether they're just out for fun,' Awhina told Perth Now Another photo showed the MAFS beauty sipping a glass of red wine at the trendy bar, while a cheeky Billy hid behind a drinks menu. Fans of the reality show erupted with excitement in the comments, thrilled that the pair many felt should have been matched on the show might have finally found love with each other. Many viewers have long suspected Awhina and Billy's chemistry, noting that the MAFS experts got it wrong by not pairing them in the first place. This flurry of fan enthusiasm comes after months of speculation about the duo's relationship. Both Awhina and Billy are based in Western Australia, and they struck up a close bond during the marriage experiment. Their respective on-screen marriages famously imploded when it was revealed that Awhina's TV husband, Adrian Araouzou, and Billy's wife, Sierah Swepstone, had been secretly meeting up behind their backs during filming. The betrayal left Awhina and Billy heartbroken, and the pair chose to leave the experiment separately amid the drama.

I'm 42 and was desperate to have a Kris Jenner ‘face lift' but was left with a bumpy, lumpy neck

HER rumoured facelift hit headlines worldwide - with people praising just how flawless the results were. And one person keen to emulate Kris Jenner's new look was Australian model Rebecca Judd. 4 4 4 The 42-year-old asked her clinical specialist Claire McGuinness to "give me Kris Jenner's neck without surgery". However, things didn't appear to have gone quite to plan, judging by Rebecca's Instagram Stories post. In the image, she showed that she'd been left with three lines of raised bumps on her neck. The lumps on her neck under her chin looked to have started healing, with some of them disappearing completely. While the lower lines were still obvious and red. It's not clear exactly what procedure Rebecca had, but Claire's website states that she offers countless facial rejuvenation procedures - from micro-needling to LED light therapy. The picture of Rebecca's bumpy neck went viral on social media, with people taking to the comments section of the posts to weigh in on what treatment Rebecca may have received. "Looks like MicroBotox to me," one wrote. "This pic was probably taken right after and then the bumps go down. "Nothing major that is for sure!" People compare me to Kris Jenner - now she's 'had a facelift', they say we look even more like 'twins' "These are Botox injection bumps and will literally be gone in under 10 minutes," another added. "You all do realise this is probs just polys?" a third asked. "It goes down within half hour - it's a simple easy good little treatment." "This is a Skin Booster, and this is exactly what it should look like post injections," someone else commented. Kris, 69, left fans stunned when she stepped out showcasing her new youthful look, with her rep confirming to Page Six that she underwent aesthetic enhancements from New York plastic surgeon Dr. Steven Levine. Although it has not been revealed exactly what she had done, many critics have suggested she underwent a deep plane facelift. What is a face lift and how quick is the recovery? A FACE lift (technically called a rhytidectomy) is a cosmetic surgical procedure which tries to reduce visible signs of ageing in the face and neck. The procedure begins with either general anaesthesia or local anaesthesia with sedation to ensure you're comfortable and pain-free. The surgeon makes incisions based on the type of face lift. The surgeon lifts the skin and underlying tissues (SMAS layer – superficial musculoaponeurotic system). Fat may be sculpted, removed, or redistributed. The underlying muscle and connective tissues are tightened and repositioned to create a more youthful look. The skin is gently laid back over the newly repositioned contours and incisions are closed with sutures (medical stitch) or skin adhesives. Recovery time varies, but most people return to normal activities within two to four weeks. In an exclusive chat with The U.S. Sun, Dr. Norman Rowe, who did not do Kris's work but specializes in deep plane facelifts, was asked how much her rumoured procedure might have set her back. "It depends on whether or not you're getting it in Cincinnati, Ohio, or Miami or New York or LA," he said. "I mean, it can range from, five figures to six figures."
