Tabby Cat Majorly Annoyed When Kids Return Home and Channels Only-Child Energy

Tabby Cat Majorly Annoyed When Kids Return Home and Channels Only-Child Energy originally appeared on Parade Pets. Cats are generally considered independent beings who only spend time with people when and how they choose. Competing for attention really isn't their bag, so if it looks like that's about to happen, it's only natural they feel some type of way about it. Angus really loves being the center of Mom's world. Even as one of three cats, he enjoys his special Mom time with no interruptions. So when the human kids come home, you can guess how this funny boy is going to react! With a caption that says, "Toddlers threaten the peace of sitting on Mom's lap," you can figure out why Angus isn't too thrilled. Even if he adores the children with all of his feline heart, he was having a good, relaxing cuddle and didn't want that to end, and that's valid. I don't know how a simple 6-second clip can say so much, but that very evident heavy sigh tells the saga of Angus's aggravation, and it's way too real. With 1.7 million likes and thousands of people saying, "I feel this," Angus seems to have hit a nerve!"Little man has genuine grief in his eyes," one person pointed out. "Sighing like he takes care of the kids," another joked. Another proclaimed the obvious — "Bro needs a vacation." I also can't stop thinking about another comment, "That's the only time I've seen such a warranted deep sigh from a cat," because 100% yes. Kitties don't usually care how we react to their reaction, and this is proof. That sigh was a clear statement! Perhaps Sir Angus needs therapy to work through his emotions? The cranky Tabby isn't always in a mood over all that toddler energy, though I'm happy Mom caught her "grumpy old man cat" on camera with it. He and his kitty sisters are almost always surrounding Mom in some way, probably staking claim before any others get to her first. Listen, I have kids, and I can even relate to Angus here. Sometimes you're just not feeling it, and that's OK. I think for all the pain and strife the toddlers' presence appears to cause, this kitty deserves a treat or seven! 🐶🐾🐾 Tabby Cat Majorly Annoyed When Kids Return Home and Channels Only-Child Energy first appeared on Parade Pets on Jul 22, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade Pets on Jul 22, 2025, where it first appeared. Saints slip up at their Geelong graveyard; Gold Coast's embarrassing low in heavy loss to Crows

St Kilda rallied momentarily in the second quarter to bring the margin back to nine points, improving their ball use enough to make use of their contested ball and clearance ascendancy. They missed some chances and Lyon admitted they left emerging gun Alix Tauru on Jeremy Cameron in the first half as a learning opportunity. But it was not enough to suggest they were going to win however as Geelong's uncharacteristic fumbling and dropped marks were inviting pressure. Once they cleaned those up in the third quarter they put the foot to the accelerator with four consecutive goals to push the margin out to 39 points and the result beyond doubt. In that period, the Cats owned territory with Lyon saying being trapped in defence had become a common thread when they had lost their grip on a game. Stewart's loss was telling as he went off the ground late in the third quarter and the Saints were able to find a few more avenues to goal. They looked as though they could make a charge until Mitch Owens missed his second gettable set shot for the game to kill their momentum. Stewart was walking around with ice on his knee after the game, and it appeared precautionary rather than a major injury. Dempsey was unstoppable on his wing, patrolling into defence and attack, kicking a goal from the outside of his foot to put a stamp on his game. He finished with 25 touches and provided constant support to those on the inside of the contest. Cameron didn't get out of third gear to kick four goals before half-time including a brilliant running goal from an angle after he turned Liam Stocker inside out before drilling the goal from the boundary. He kicked his fifth in the final quarter to bring his tally for the season to 58. The Cats made the most of their interceptions, constantly building the attack from the back half of the ground in the first half. It was only the second time in the past 10 years Geelong had kicked eight goals in the first half from defensive half-chains. By contrast the Cats stifled the Saints' ability to do that when they started Mark Blicavs forward on Callum Wilkie - who was playing his 150th consecutive game from debut – and made life difficult for him. The intercepting marking star finished with just five marks, his second fewest in a game for the season. Irishman Oisin Mullin is becoming a player in his 35th game just edging out crafting forward Jack Higgins. He is becoming more instinctive in his attacking while Shaun Mannagh has been an excellent pickup from the VFL. Marcus Windhager played well on both Max Holmes and Bailey Smith while Jack Steele's pressure was good as usual. Jack Sinclair's rebounding game was strong. But Wanganeen-Milera was outstanding playing a lone hand ending the game with two goals, 36 disposals and 637 metres gained. His contract remains unsigned, but Lyon grinned when asked where it was at. 'In the fullness of time,' he said. Gold Coast's embarrassing low in heavy loss to Crows AAP Adelaide have crushed Gold Coast by 61 points, with the Suns losing star defender Daniel Rioli to injury while slipping to an embarrassing low. The Crows kicked the initial 11 goals in their 16.11 (107) to 6.10 (46) victory at Adelaide Oval on Sunday to retain their grip on third spot. Gold Coast were goalless in an opening half for the first time, and playmaker Rioli suffered a left calf injury before the long break. Adelaide led 9.5 to 0.4 at half-time and were up 71-5 before the Suns scored their first goal in the 11th minute of the third term. Gold Coast slid to eighth on the ladder, just one win ahead of the ninth-placed Western Bulldogs, while the Crows are certain to return to the finals for the first time since 2017. Adelaide's Alex Neal-Bullen kicked three goals from his career-high 31 disposals and Riley Thilthorpe, Taylor Walker and Izak Rankine scored two each. Captain Jordan Dawson (20 disposals, one goal), James Peatling (21, one goal), Jake Soligo (24, one goal) and Dan Curtin (20, one goal) continued fine seasons.

‘Left a bad taste' – RTE pundit unhappy with DJ Carey's name being jeered at All-Ireland hurling final

JOHN Mullane has said DJ Carey's name being booed before the All-Ireland hurling final "left a bad taste in my mouth". An hour before 3 DJ Carey was not present at Croke Park on Sunday Credit: PA 3 John Mullane often serves as co-commentator for RTE Radio One Credit: @RTESport 3 Eddie Brennan was among the former Cats stars who were honoured before the game Carey, Man of the Match in that year's decider, did not turn up. When his name was read out by the PA operator Earlier this month, the Cats great One of his teammates who was present at GAA HQ on Sunday was Eddie Brennan. He appeared on the Read More On GAA Host Joe Molloy initially jokingly asked Brennan if he was booed when his name was read due to Tipp and Cork being such fierce rivals of Kilkenny's down through the years. Brennan, who is in no way associated with Carey's legal woes, was about to respond when the Waterford legend chimed in. Mullane stated: "I was up there (in Croke Park) and the thing with made a mistake and he's after admitting he made a mistake. "It's going through the procedures of the court now. And Jesus, here's me as someone who's made plenty of mistakes in life. And who hasn't made a mistake in life? Most read in GAA Hurling "But I'll be straight with you, it left a bad taste in my mouth. It's probably hard enough on the family and probably hard enough on DJ Carey that he wasn't able to turn up there yesterday. "But y'know the not about booing people on All-Ireland final day. I don't know, I can't speak for others. Ronan Maher pays tribute to Dillon Quirke after Tipperary GAA win All-Ireland final "There is probably a certain percentage that would see that it was okay to boo but it didn't sit well with me. "From a neutral's point of view it didn't sit well with that people would start booing a person on All-Ireland final day - and a person that wasn't even there on All-Ireland final day." Brennan wasn't able to shed much light on Carey's decision not to attend the Jones' Road occasion. Struggling for the words since it is such a thorny topic, he simply called it "an unfortunate situation" before the conversation was moved along. On July 2 Carey pleaded guilty to ten deception charges over the sick scams. The 54-year-old had been due to stand trial at Dublin Circuit Criminal He admitted to dishonestly, and by deception, inducing victims to make monetary payment to him after he fraudulently claimed to have cancer and needed finances to obtain treatment. The charges are under Section 6 of the Criminal Justice (Theft and Fraud Offences) Act. Carey carried out the cancer cash scam over an eight-year period, between 2014 to 2022. Billionaire Denis O'Brien His other 12 named victims include Owen and Ann Conway, Mark and Sharon Kelly, Aidan Mulligan, Tony Griffin and Christy Browne, Thomas Butler, Jeffrey Howes, Noel Tynan, Edwin Carey and Aonghus Leydon.

The GAA slammed over DJ Carey decision on All-Ireland final day

The GAA's decision to honour DJ Carey ahead of Sunday's All-Ireland hurling final has been questioned by fans. The former Kilkenny player's name was called out as the All-Ireland-winning Cats team from 2000 were honoured at Croke Park ahead of the decider between Tipperary and Cork. Jeers rang out around the stadium as Carey, who was not in attendance, was honoured alongside his former teammates. The Croke Park stadium announcer said of the nine-time All-Star winner: "Full forward DJ Carey from the Young Irelands. He scored 1-4 on the day, claiming his third All-Ireland of five in total and he would end the year with the eighth of his nine All-Star awards. DJ is not with us today." A large number of people took to social media to vent their frustration over the GAA's decision to honour the 54-year-old. One person wrote on X: "As a man who has lost both parents to cancer & I know the pain it brings on them & the family, but for the GAA even to put this c***, DJ Carey into their thoughts on this day is a kick in the bollox to all the cancer sufferers & survivors of this horrible disease & to all the people who he's scammed out of hundreds of thousands of pounds for his own gain." Another said: "Should of never had his name mentioned. He is no hero. Only a living disgrace." Someone else commented: "Sad that such an outstanding player would ruin his legacy to do what he done. To think children used to look up to him in awe at his skills on the hurling field." One other person stated: "They shouldn't have mentioned him at all!" Carey was named man of the match in Kilkenny's 2000 final victory over Offaly, scoring 1-4 as they triumphed with a scoreline of 5-15 to 1-14. The five-time All-Ireland champion recently pleaded guilty to 10 counts of defrauding several individuals by falsely claiming he had cancer. The 10 charges Carey confessed to involved a total of 13 victims, including Denis O'Brien, Owen and Ann Conway, Mark and Sharon Kelly, Aidan Mulligan, Tony Griffin and Christy Browne, Thomas Butler, Jeffrey Howes, Noel Tynan and Edwin Carey. Carey first donned the Kilkenny jersey in 1988 and continued to play until 2006. He is undeniably one of hurling's all-time greats, boasting 10 Leinster Senior Championship medals, five All-Ireland titles, four league titles and a Player of the Year award in 2000. He also amassed nine All-Star awards throughout his career, second only to Henry Shefflin who has 11.

Top four in Cats' sights as Saints lose six in a row

Geelong have inched closer to securing a top-four berth, with a five-goal haul from spearhead Jeremy Cameron leading them to a hard-fought 31-point win over St Kilda at GMHBA Stadium. Looking a class above their opponents all day, the Cats won 17.11 (113) to 12.10 (82) in front of a vocal home crowd of 29,985 writing was on the wall early, as Geelong kicked four unanswered goals to start the match, and while the Saints fought back hard to stay in touch in an entertaining end-to-end battle, the home side answered every Kilda's engine room battled hard throughout, finishing with more clearances and contested possessions than the Cats, but Geelong's class on the outside proved the difference. With coaches Ross Lyon and Chris Scott content to let their midfields fight it out without any hard tags, St Kilda Star Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera emerged as the most damaging player on the ground. The out-of-contract 22-year-old was everywhere for the Saints, using his running power to collect 36 disposals, his smarts around stoppages to win 10 clearances, and his exquisite kicking to snare two goals and set up multiple others. But while Wanganeen-Milera was clearly the Saints' best player, the Cats had even contributors across the board. Max Holmes ran riot through the middle with 32 disposals, while Ollie Dempsey (25 possessions) was outstanding in his 50th game. Coleman Medal leader Jeremy Cameron had four goals to his name by half-time, with a sublime drop punt from a tight angle the highlight of the match, and added a fifth late in the final term. But Cameron was far from the only threat in Geelong's forward half, with Shaun Mannagh kicking three goals from his 24 disposals, and Tyson Stengle, Patrick Dangerfield and Jack Martin each grabbing only sour point for Geelong was an injury concern to star defender Tom Stewart, who was subbed out in the third quarter with a knee Kilda has now lost six games in a row, with their most recent win coming against Melbourne in Round 12 before the Saints' mid-season bye. Geelong looks well-placed to finish in the top four for the sixth time in the past seven seasons, with just five home-and-away games left. The Cats have notched 12 wins and are likely to start favourites in their remaining games against North Melbourne, Port Adelaide, Essendon, Sydney and Richmond, all of whom sit in the bottom half of the ladder.
