Central Pattana Partners UAE to Attract Elite Tourists
Bangkok, July 24, 2025 – Central Pattana plc, Thailand's No.1 real estate developer and operator of Central shopping centres nationwide, is reaffirming its successful strategy to become a 'Global Elite Destination' by targeting high-end customers from the Middle East. The company has announced a major collaboration with Fazaa Card, the largest national CRM programme of the United Arab Emirates (UAE)—a premium membership card established by the UAE's Ministry of Interior, with over 1.5 million members. Central Pattana is the first and only shopping centre developer in Asia to form an ecosystem-level partnership at a UAE national-level entity. Special privileges are being offered at centralwOrld, Central Village, and Central Phuket—three leading shopping destinations located in top tourist cities. Central Pattana aims to further stimulate the economy and tourism through this initiative and plans to expand the partnership nationwide in the future. To maximise the impact of this collaboration, we have adopted three strategic approaches: Strategic Alliance with a National-Level CRM: We have formed a strategic alliance with Fazaa Card, the UAE's premium membership programme, which offers members exclusive privileges from over 7,200 leading brands across 92 countries. This alliance is a key strategy targeting affluent Middle Eastern travellers who enjoy premium lifestyles and prefer international travel. It enables precise access to an upper-tier customer base, enhances Thailand's positioning as a 'Global Elite Destination', and allows for the utilisation of Fazaa's robust CRM database to co-create targeted campaigns that stimulate spending and elevate the global profile of Thai brands. Previously, Central Pattana also partnered with Esaad Card, a UAE membership programme established by Dubai Police. Curated Experiences for High-Spending Tourists: We have deeply engaged with the premium Middle Eastern tourist market by offering tailored privileges for Fazaa Card members, designed to provide superior experiences. The pilot programme was launched at three flagship shopping centres in top tourist destinations—centralwOrld, Central Village, and Central Phuket. Data shows that Middle Eastern travellers spend an average of 104,138 baht per trip and favour extended holidays of 10–12 days. The most popular activities among this group include shopping, beach tourism, and medical tourism, with Bangkok, Phuket, and Chonburi (Pattaya) being the top offered to Fazaa members include welcome packages with up to 40% discounts at leading retailers, exclusive lounge access at centralwOrld and Central Village, Aquaria Phuket tickets at Central Phuket, shuttle bus services between centralwOrld, Central Village, and Suvarnabhumi Airport, as well as free gifts and exclusive offers from Erb, Divana Signature Café, and Karmakamet.'
