Jay Cohen opens up about Michelle Trachtenberg's death: 'Healing from pain and grief'
More than five months after the shocking death of actress Michelle Trachtenberg , her longtime boyfriend Jay Cohen, a Hollywood talent agent, has finally spoken out. Cohen shared his first public reflections through a post on his private social media account that revealed a personal journey of grief, healing, and the quiet strength drawn from those close to him. An honest, intimate message In his social media post, Cohen wrote, 'I am so grateful to all of you who are in my life sharing our common joys, helping me with tragedies and healing from pain and grief. I'm sure many of you know what I mean when I write that.' While his message was brief, it resonated deeply with fans and friends who had been waiting for his words. When asked by a follower if he would speak more openly about Michelle, Cohen responded with grace: 'One day soon! I'm very sorry.' He added another poignant line: 'Michelle was loved by so many.' Michelle's light and legacy Michelle Trachtenberg is known for her unforgettable roles in 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer,' 'Gossip Girl,' and 'Ice Princess,' died at the age of 39 in the month of February 2025 due to diabetes. A community in mourning Stars who worked closely with Michelle paid emotional tributes: Leighton Meester, her 'Gossip Girl' co-star, described the loss as 'devastating': 'She was a wonderful, talented person, and everyone loved her.' Penn Badgley, known for portraying Dan Humphrey, expressed his disbelief: 'She was incredibly quick to laugh… really joyous.' Taylor Momsen, who played Jenny Humphrey, shared perhaps the most intimate reflection: 'She was smart and sassy, bold and sensitive, funny as f*** and filled with fire… I will miss you every day, my love.' Jay and Michelle: A quiet romance with deep roots Michelle Trachtenberg and Jay Cohen began dating in 2020. Although they kept their relationship mostly away from the public's eyes, the close friends knew them to be deeply committed. Cohen was seen as one of Michelle's closest supporters through her health struggles, and his silence since her passing was understood as part of his grieving process and was evident. Finding grace in grief Cohen's decision to speak now suggests a turning point and not only for himself but perhaps also for fans still mourning the loss of a beloved star. His message was not impressive or elaborative. Instead, it was tender, honest, and quietly powerful, echoing the truth that healing is deeply personal and never linear.

YouTuber booked for bike stunts in Ladakh; Police: Fragile zones not for viral content
A popular YouTuber with millions of followers is under fire, not for pushing boundaries in content creation, but for literally pushing his superbikes through some of India's most ecologically sensitive terrain. Ali Aalyan Iqbal, who boasts 2.74 million subscribers on YouTube and nearly half a million followers on Instagram, has been booked for performing dangerous stunts in restricted zones around Ladakh's Pangong Lake and the Nubra sand dunes, regions known not just for their beauty but for their delicate ecosystems. The Leh Police confirmed action against Iqbal under Sections 125 and 292 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) 2023, the former for endangering life and the latter for public nuisance. 'A domestic tourist was booked... for dangerously riding a bike in restricted zones... endangering Ladakh's fragile ecosystem,' the police said in a post on X. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Ali Aalyan Iqbal (@aalyan_.01) Iqbal had shared multiple videos online showing himself shirtless, doing headstands on superbikes, and revving engines across dunes and near the pristine waters of Pangong Lake. In one clip, his bike is seen stuck in the sand as it throws up clouds of dust, a move that might excite viewers but can wreak havoc on local biodiversity. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Invertir $112 en Cervecería Nacional CFD podría devolverte un segundo salario Empieza a invertir. The damage caused by such stunts goes beyond the viral moment; it scars landscapes that are meant to be protected. Why this matters: Influencers like Iqbal command large audiences, many of them young and impressionable. When they flaunt disregard for environmental norms in the name of content, they normalize reckless behavior and endanger the very places they claim to celebrate.
