Britain's Got Talent star's cause of death confirmed after sad death

Dancer Chantel Bellew was a contestant on Britain's Got Talent in 2019 where she delighted the judges and audiences with her uplifting routines. She passed away in March this year aged 34. The cause of death of Britain's Got Talent star Chantel Bellew has been revealed three months after her sudden death. The late dancer passed away in March at the age of 34. Chantel found fame as a dancer who auditioned for season 13 of ITV's Britain's Got Talent in 2019 when she was 28 at the time. While on the show, she delighted hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly with her cheeky dance routines. ‌ After wowing in her audition, she advanced to the quarter finals - however, that season was ultimately won by singer Colin Thackery. In March it was revealed that Chantel had died after being rushed to hospital just weeks after her 34th birthday. Following an inquest into her death at Bolton Coroners' Court, it has been ruled that she took her own life and her death was ruled as suicide. ‌ The Manchester Evening News reported the cause of her death on Saturday. They quoted Chantel's mother, Jill Dawson described her as a "beautiful daughter" and "model student". It was noted that the inquest was told Chantel suffered with mental health problems for "quite some time". Assistant coroner John Pollard is quoted explaining that the tap dance star was in a "loving relationship" with wife Genna Timewell, but added: "Despite this she remained to some extent unsettled and unsure of herself." Her final moments were also documented during the hearing and it was reported she overdosed on painkillers on 17 March. The hearing was told that Gemma returned home at approximately 2pm and assumed no one was at home. The inquest heard that Gemma felt something "wasn't right" and that she was "really worried". She called her father-in-law, who said Chantel was not with him. She then texted Chantel who replied stating: "I'm good, I'm grand." Gemma then suggested they go to Wales for the weekend to "get away" and "leave it all behind". ‌ The inquest then heard how Gemma heard a noise in the attic and then saw Chantel "stumbling down the stairs" and "walking very unsteadily and looking disorientated". After calling 999 and being told it would be 40 minutes for an ambulance, Gemma drove Chantel to hospital - tragically she died over a week later on 22 March. Chantel's loved ones later set up a fundraising page to cover the cost of her funeral, writing: "It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Chantel, as we navigate through this incredibly difficult time, we want to honour her life and the beautiful impact she had on everyone who knew her." ‌ The statement on GoFundMe continued: "Chantel was more than a daughter, wife, sister, niece, cousin and friend. She was a kind, loving, and passionate spirit who brought joy and laughter to so many. "Chantel was a talent second to none who was the life and soul of every party, I am sure you will agree she was a character that nobody will ever forget. As Chantel´s friends, we would like to help the family give Chantel the showbiz farewell she deserves." As well as performing on BGT, Chantel worked in a supermarket before becoming a teaching assistant.

The Bear – Season 4 Episode 4 'Worms' Recap & Review

Worms Episode 4 of The Bear season 4 begins with Adam Shapiro calling Sydney and asking her to come see the new place. She says she'll try but she eventually does make it. Shapiro shows her around the place and lays out his plans for the place. Sydney then goes to her cousin Chantel's place to get her hair done but Chantel is forced to leave midway to get more hair extensions. Which leaves Sydney alone with her 11 year old daughter TJ. When TJ gets hungry, Sydney takes them out. TJ talks about how all her friends are going to the same middle school next year, except for her. They've already planned a sleepover without her and only invited her because she stumbled upon them talking about it. Sydney tries to offer some comfort but ends up putting her foot in her mouth. They buy supplies from the store and when they return to the house, Sydney cooks for them. While she does, Sydney tells TJ how she also has a similar situation where she has to choose between two sleepovers. She says the first house feels very special but also crazy. The second is new and shiny and has unlimited pizza. She also brings up Carmy using the same analogy, saying he doesn't like to share and gets weird when she does too well. Sydney gets emotional as she rants about wanting to fix the first house. Later, while they're eating, TJ gets a call from her friend and picks up the phone. It sounds like she will be going to the sleepover. Chantel then comes back soon and finishes up Sydney's hair. Sydney then tells Chantel they should go for a night out and Chantel points out how rarely hangs out with her. As Sydney is leaving, TJ tells her that she spoke to her friend and will go to the sleepover. She also tells Sydney to work wherever she wants because she's a good cook. Sydney steps out and sees texts a series of confused texts from Carmy that signal the chaos at The Bear. She then calls Shapiro and asks him if he wants to go over some paperwork. The Episode Review Episode 4 is a Sydney episode! I'm not sure that we've had a full episode just focused on her before and this one, like most of the other solo character episodes, is a delight. Much like Tina's or Sugar's episodes from earlier seasons, this one allows us to learn more about Sydney's character and get some insight into her thoughts. Having her hang out with her niece is a nice touch as it adds a lightness and sense of whimsy even as Sydney struggles with one of the biggest decisions of her life. It's a heartwarming episode and the sleepover analogy works pretty well too. The full thirty minutes gives voice to Sydney's thoughts about The Bear, its particular craziness, Carmy's behaviour, and how she feels about it all. The episode also points out how being busy has kept her from meeting Chantel and TJ more often. Ayo Edebiri absolutely knocks it out of the park and even with just her and Arion King (who offers a delightful portrayal of TJ) on our screens, the episode never falls short of being engaging. Ex-soldier who brutally murdered mum with meat cleaver before dismembering her body could be FREED early from jail

A petition was presented to the Prime Minister demanding a change in the law WALK FREE Ex-soldier who brutally murdered mum with meat cleaver before dismembering her body could be FREED early from jail A SOLDIER who brutally murdered a young mother with a meat cleaver could soon be freed from prison. Killer Stephen Wynne murdered 27-year-old mum-of-three Chantel Taylor by striking her in the neck and then dismembering her body with a saw. 3 Killer Stephen Wynne murdered 27-year-old mum-of-three Chantel Taylor Credit: Merseyside Police 3 Chantal Taylor, 27, mum of three, pictured smiling Credit: BBC 3 Ms Taylor's mother, Jean Taylor, giving an interview on ITV News Credit: ITV Wynne, who was 26 at the time of the murder in 2004, later stashed Chantel's remains in her own loft before moving them a few days later into a nearby woods and the local tip. Her body was never discovered, meaning her family were forced to hold a funeral with just traces of her DNA from the murder scene in Birkenhead. Now the Sun Online can reveal Wynne, who was sentenced to life in prison in 2006 after pleading guilty to murder, is set to appear before the Parole Board in two weeks. His will 'horrify' Chantel's family, according to one MP. Esther McVey who has been supporting the family said: "In this case life should mean life." Wynne was originally sentenced to life with a minimum term of 21 years was reduced to 18 on appeal. In 2023 he won the right to be moved to an open prison after a judge dismissed an objection by the then Deputy Prime Minister, Dominic Raab. A senior judge ruled in Wynne's favour, concluding that the Government had provided "no good reason" for rejecting the board's recommendation. Ms Taylor's mother, Jean Taylor, has previously told of the 'deep distress and devastation' felt by her family over the murder. Earlier this year Mrs Taylor travelled to London to present a petition to Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer demanding a change in the law alongside Chantel's daughter, Whitney, 31, her sister, Natasha, 53 and Ms McVey. They say current rules known as Helen's Law, in memory of Helen McCourt, whereby a killer who refuses to disclose the location of their victim's remains are barred from being granted parole, has a "significant limitation". Chantel's family say Helen's law allows offenders who falsely claimed to reveal the location of concealed body parts to 'avoid the full accountability they deserve during parole hearings.' A Parole Board spokesperson said: "An oral hearing has been listed for the parole review of Stephen Wynne and is scheduled to take place in June 2025. "Parole Board decisions are solely focused on what risk a prisoner could represent to the public if released and whether that risk is manageable in the community. 'A panel will carefully examine a huge range of evidence, including details of the original crime, and any evidence of behaviour change, as well as explore the harm done and impact the crime has had on the victims. 'Members read and digest hundreds of pages of evidence and reports in the lead up to an oral hearing. 'Evidence from witnesses including probation officers, psychiatrists and psychologists, officials supervising the offender in prison as well as victim personal statements are then given at the hearing. 'The prisoner and witnesses are then questioned at length during the hearing which often lasts a full day or more. 'Parole reviews are undertaken thoroughly and with extreme care. Protecting the public is our number one priority.'
