Beyoncé's Houston concert takes a dramatic turn mid-air

During her highly anticipated Cowboy Carter tour stop at Houston's NRG Stadium on Saturday, 28 June. Beyoncé faced a terrifying moment when the flying car prop she was riding suddenly tilted dangerously mid-air. The red convertible, normally upright during her performance of 16 Carriages , began to slant sharply, according to Daily Mail. This caused the 43-year-old singer to slide in her seat and prompted her to urgently command, 'Stop, stop, stop' into the microphone as the music abruptly cut out. The incident stunned the crowd and was captured on video by fans, who gasped and shouted for the crew to intervene. The vehicle hung suspended by cables above the audience. Despite the alarming situation, Beyoncé remained remarkably calm and composed. She even smiled at the crowd while holding onto the cables for safety. BEYONCÉ REMAINS PROFESSIONAL After a tense few moments, the car was carefully and slowly lowered back to the stage. The singer briefly exited before returning to finish her set. Once safely on stage, Beyoncé addressed the audience with warmth and gratitude, saying, 'I wanna thank y'all for loving me. If I ever fall, I know y'all will catch me'. This heartfelt message resonated strongly with fans, who praised her poise and professionalism during the scare. One fan remarked, 'Omg she scared me. So glad she's safe and nothing happened!! SOMEBODY GETTING FIRREDDDD'. This was not the first technical glitch Beyoncé has encountered on the Cowboy Carter tour. In May, a robotic arm on stage malfunctioned during a Los Angeles show, spilling a drink meant for the singer. Earlier in London, her fringed chaps unexpectedly fell off mid-performance, yet she handled it with grace and humour. The tour began in April 2025 in Inglewood, California, and is scheduled to conclude in July 2025 in Paradise, Nevada, with 32 stadium shows across the US and Europe. Beyoncé's quick thinking and calm demeanour turned a potentially dangerous malfunction into a memorable moment of strength and connection with her fans. Beyoncé gets emotional, gives London fans a heartfelt closer: 'I don't want to go home'

Beyoncé gets emotional, gives London fans a heartfelt closer: 'I don't want to go home' Beyoncé-Knowles-Carter wrapped the U.K. leg of her "Cowboy Carter" tour with a heartfelt sendoff in London, delivering an emotional yet electric performance during her final show in the city. The Grammy-winning singer kicked off her June 16 show at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at 7:43 p.m local time. The show marked her final concert on her six-show stint at the stadium on her Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin' Circuit Tour. Her next stop will be in Paris, where she is set to take the French stage for three nights on June 19, 21 and 22. "London, I'm so happy to be standing on the stage tonight. I see so many familiar faces," Beyoncé said as she opened the show. "We're going to have us a good time. I love you. I love you. I love you so deep." Beyoncé's warm energy radiated throughout the entire show. In addition to the high-powered performances she brought to the stage, there were many moments of heartfelt gratitude and raw emotion. Before singing her 2008 hit, "If I Were a Boy," Beyoncé appeared emotional, pausing for several moments as she soaked in the love from the roaring crowd. "I don't want to go home," she said "Thank you, London. We've been having such great shows here. Thank y'all so much." beyoncé nearly in tears as she receives a standing ovation from london😭🥹 — 𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗻𝘆🫧💚 (@beyoncegarden) June 16, 2025 At another point the "Ya Ya" singer told fans, "Oh my goodness. Ya'll are beautiful." During the concert, she blew a kiss after forming a heart with her hands for the roaring crowd. And that energy seemed to be an equal transfer to and from fans. "I'm just happy to be witnessing this. I feel like you can see and feel her energy as well," said London native Agathe Halter, who attended her first Beyoncé concert ever during Monday's show. "I never thought I'd see her in my life. It's incredible." Like Beyoncé, fans were feeling emotional throughout the night. "I cried a couple times. I think she's the first person I've had a CD from. I listen to her every single day of my life," said longtime fan and London native Malika Hamzaa. As fans know, Beyoncé first debuted her "Cowboy Carter" tour at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on April 28 with 39 songs on the set list. Her shows have been filled with family, fashion, different music genres, and most notably country music and cultural commentary. And Saturday's concert was no different as she debuted more fashionable new looks and delivered another high-powered performance. "It was amazing. It was my daughter's birthday and it was phenomenal. I'm not joking it was worth every penny. I danced the whole night. Beyoncé shut it down," said Kyliyaah Thomas who was celebrating her daughter's 15th birthday. The London shows have been filled with new looks and some even saw new additions to her set list, including fan-favorites "Energy" and "Break My Soul" from her 2022 album "Renaissance." Of course, that also meant some fans attending her shows in London had the opportunity to do — and win, per Beyoncé — the "Mute Challenge." As she closed out Monday's concert, she sang "London, you're beautiful" to the tune of her 2008 song "That's Why You're Beautiful." And if it wasn't already clear, before leaving the Tottenham Stadium stage for the last time on this tour, she told the crowd, "I'm really going to miss you, London." Beyoncé's tour heads to London: What to know about floor tickets, safety, weather

Beyoncé's tour heads to London: What to know about floor tickets, safety, weather Beyoncé Knowles-Carter has officially wrapped the first stint of U.S. shows on her "Cowboy Carter" tour, and now she's taking the groundbreaking show overseas. As fans gear up for her European era, there are some key differences to note. The Grammy-winning singer will first stop in London for a total of six nights at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on her Cowboy Carter and Rodeo Chitlin' Circuit Tour. The shows will take place on June 5, 7, 10, 12, 14 and 16. After, she heads to Stade de France in Paris for a total of three nights on June 19, 21 and 22. Of course, Beyoncé first debuted her "Cowboy Carter" tour at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on April 28 with 39 songs on the set list. Her shows have been filled with family, fashion, different music genres, and most notably country music and cultural commentary. She continued this through her stops in Chicago and New Jersey. The U.S. shows attracted some of the biggest names in the industry as well as thousands of fans with some traveling from around the world. Her international shows are expected to be just as impactful, but there are some differences and key ways fans should prepare. Ticket, seating differences in Europe In the U.S., tickets for Beyoncé's "Cowboy Carter" shows are primarily seated, with the exception of VIP pit tickets near the stage. These pit areas are standing-room only, and spots within them are first come, first served — prompting fans to arrive early to secure a prime view. While some venues also feature designated standing-room-only sections, these areas are typically farther from the stage and come with assigned zones, so positioning isn't as competitive. However, in London and Paris, there are general admission tickets on the floor, in addition to the VIP pits. These tickets are also standing-room only and operate on a first-come, first-served basis, meaning fans have no assigned spot and can end up anywhere within the section. As a result, it's common for international concertgoers to arrive hours early to secure a prime position in the queue — not just VIP ticket holders. How to prepare for Beyoncé's shows in London: Weather, queuing, more Doors of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium are set to open at 5:00 p.m., while the show is slated to begin around 7:30 p.m. Although the stadium is discouraging fans from queueing or camping out overnight, it's not unheard of for fans to arrive hours early before the show. According to the stadium's site, concertgoers who attempt to camp overnight will be asked to leave and return at a more appropriate time. For select VIP ticket holders, an earlier check-in time will be noted via email or on the tickets. If fans plan to arrive early or spend extended time near the venue, it's crucial to prioritize safety especially by staying hydrated. Past incidents at international shows for other artists have raised concerns after fans suffered health issues related to dehydration. So far, Beyoncé has carried on her shows rain or shine. Fans in London should be prepared for rainfall on June 5 and light rain June 7 as they head to the stadium. While the venue's roof covers the seated areas, the standing areas generally remain uncovered. Other key venue rules at Tottenham Stadium Additionally, Tottenham stadium is a fully cashless stadium to increase the speed of service. All major contactless debit and credit cards are accepted with a limit of £100. Additionally, Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted.
