Adrien Rabiot and mother Véronique file fresh legal claim against PSG over insults and banners
Adrien Rabiot (29) and his mother and long-time advisor Véronique have filed legal action against Paris Saint-Germain following their return to the Parc des Princes with Marseille on 16th March. According to Le Parisien, the pair are suing PSG for their alleged failure to manage abusive banners and insults from supporters during the Classique clash. The case has been brought before the Paris judicial court, with both Rabiot and his mother demanding €15,000 in damages. However, their primary goal is not financial – they want the court to acknowledge what they perceive as a serious failure in PSG's handling of fan conduct, particularly regarding the club's responsibility to ensure security and appropriate behaviour in the stands. Advertisement During Rabiot's first at the Parc as an opposition player since leaving PSG in 2019 – numerous derogatory chants and banners targeting the France international and his mother were visible in the Auteuil end. Although the LFP handed PSG a €20,000 fine and a one-match partial stand closure in early April, the Rabiots argue these sanctions are insufficient. Represented by lawyer Me Romuald Palao, they accuse PSG of failing in its duty to police the stands, which resulted in personal harm. A first hearing is set for November 4th, although it may be postponed depending on how PSG respond. This comes just days after Rabiot won a separate legal battle against PSG regarding the nature of his former contracts. The Paris industrial tribunal reclassified his professional player contracts as permanent (CDI), ordering PSG to pay €1.3 million in compensation. GFFN | George Boxall

Harry Potter extra reveals how much she was paid for minor role, as new HBO series begins casting
As anticipation builds for HBO's upcoming Harry Potter series, a former child extra from the original film franchise has gone viral for sharing how much she earned during her time on set. Samantha Clinch, known for her role as Eloise Midgen in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, opened up on TikTok about her experience working on the films, including what she was paid. Clinch, who also appeared uncredited in The Prisoner of Azkaban, revealed that as an extra, she earned £35 per day, which breaks down to just £2.91 an hour during 12-hour filming days. Speaking under her TikTok handle @samanthaclinch, she said, 'We would be called for breakfast to be in the holding area outside the set for 5am in the morning and then be leaving at rush hour, on the bus in heavy, heavy traffic.' When she was given a named role in the fourth film, her pay increased to £70 per day. 'Honestly, little did I know that day when I was going to set how the day would change for me and my bank account,' she said in the video, which has since garnered over 7.7 million views. Despite the modest pay, Clinch described the experience as incredibly rewarding. 'It was genuinely the most incredible time of my life,' she said, recalling that child actors ate meals in the Hogwarts banquet hall and were treated to a steady stream of snacks. 'Seriously, the amount of Squares bars and iced buns we got through, minimum £15 a day, minimum.' Clinch even remembered spending some of her earnings on a bottle of Jean Paul Gaultier's Classique perfume, calling it 'nostalgia in a bottle.' Her reflections offer a glimpse into life as a background actor as the new generation of Hogwarts students prepares to take the screen in HBO's reboot.

Clément Turpin to referee Sunday's Classico between PSG and Marseille
According to a report by L'Équipe, Clément Turpin will be the referee chosen to oversee this weekend's Classique clash between Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique de Marseille at the Parc des Princes, (20:25 CET). The 42-year-old referee has already officiated 30 times this season, and will be taking charge of his eighth Classique, with PSG winning on six occasions and OM earning one draw. Les Olympiens will be hoping to show they've made progress since the 3-0 win for Les Parisiens at the Vélodrome earlier this season. Luis Enrique's PSG, however, face a Champions League Round of 16 second leg clash against Liverpool tonight before preparing for the match against their rivals this weekend. There have been no major worries from OM in recent games officiated by Stéphanie Frappart, and Thomas Léonard, since the controversy surrounding Jérémy Stinat, who sent off defender Derek Cornlelius to the indignation of Marseille president Pablo Longoria, who accused Ligue 1 referees of 'corruption' – subsequently receiving a 15-match | George Boxall

Marseille expect to lose Michael Murillo for several weeks
Michael Murillo (29) has played a prominent role under Roberto De Zerbi at Olympique de Marseille. He had started 12 of the last 13 games in Ligue 1 for OM and has become a stalwart in the back three in recent months. However, for the upcoming weeks, De Zerbi may be forced to find alternative solutions. The Panama international was brought off in just the 23rd minute of Sunday night's win over FC Nantes at the Vélodrome. Pol Lirola came on in his place before then later making way himself for Luiz Felipe later in the encounter. Post-match, De Zerbi provided an update on Murillo, revealing that the defender was suffering from a hamstring issue. The Italian manager added that the defender will likely be ruled out for several weeks with the issue. He therefore looks certain to miss next weekend's game against RC Lens, as well as the Classique, against Paris Saint-Germain, later this month. GFFN | Luke Entwistle
