Andy Cohen officially says goodbye to NYC penthouse of 20 years

From Bravo to Broadway, Andy Cohen is officially saying goodbye to his longtime home. Emmy-winning playwright and screenwriter Danny Strong and his partner, actor and producer Caitlin Mehner, have officially closed on Cohen's longtime West Village penthouse duplex for its full $12 million asking price, The Post has learned. The deal, which was finalized on June 26, caps a swift transaction that entered contract just over a month earlier. 11 Emmy-winning playwright and screenwriter Danny Strong and his partner, actor/producer Caitlin Mehner, have officially closed on Andy Cohen's penthouse duplex at 2 Horatio Street for its $12 million asking price. Getty Images for Prime Video The 3,500-square-foot co-op, located at 2 Horatio Street, was assembled over two decades by Cohen, the Bravo star and producer behind 'Watch What Happens Live' and 'Top Chef.' Designed by architect Gordon Kahn with interiors by Eric Hughes, the home is known for its bold use of color, sweeping views of Manhattan landmarks, and dramatic custom details — including a sculptural walnut, steel and glass staircase connecting its two levels. 11 The 3,500-square-foot West Village co-op, which overlooks Jackson Square Park, entered into contract in May after eight months on the market and initially listed for $14 million. Eytan Stern Weber, Evan Joseph Images Strong, whose musical Chess heads to Broadway this fall, called the duplex 'my dream home,' previously telling The Post, 'We are so excited to be moving there.' He and Mehner, new parents to a 7-month-old daughter, had been looking for more space to accommodate their growing family. 11 Designed by architect Gordon Kahn with interiors by Eric Hughes, the home includes a chef's kitchen, a nanny's room, and a glass-and-steel staircase leading to a home office. Strong is in contract to sell his current residence at 299 West 12th Street — the sam Emery Roth-designed building where Cohen just purchased a new penthouse for $18.21 million, The Post reported. That unit reportedly features over 2,000 square feet of outdoor space, something Cohen had long been seeking. 'Outdoor space was the decision! I always have coveted outdoor space,' Cohen told People. 'There is a dearth of inventory in the West Village with outdoor space, so when I found something that was meaningful enough for me to leave my dream apartment … that's what it took.' 11 The residence occupies 3,500 square feet. Eytan Stern Weber, Evan Joseph Images 11 Strong, who wrote 'Empire,' 'Dopesick,' and two 'Hunger Games' films, is also in contract to sell his unit at 299 W. 12th Street—ironically, the same building where Cohen just bought a new $18.21 million penthouse. Eytan Stern Weber, Evan Joseph Images The sale also marked a professional milestone for real estate broker and former Million Dollar Listing New York star Ryan Serhant, who shared news of the contract on Instagram back in May. 'Congrats @bravoandy,' he wrote, adding, 'Thanks for trusting me and @serhant with your home.' Serhant later told The New York Times, 'It's one of those treasures that you wait your whole career for.' Cohen had initially listed the property for $14 million in September 2024 before cutting the price by $2 million earlier this year. The duplex ultimately found a buyer after about eight months on the market. 11 A living space. Eytan Stern Weber, Evan Joseph Images 11 One of two fireplaces in the home. Eytan Stern Weber, Evan Joseph Images 11 An ensuite bathroom. Eytan Stern Weber, Evan Joseph Images Serhant and Donna Strugatz of Serhant represented the listing, while Jonathan Stein of Douglas Elliman represented Strong. Inside, the home features 4.5 bathrooms, two wood-burning fireplaces, wide-plank oak floors, and 25 windows offering views of Jackson Square Park, the Empire State Building, and the Chrysler Building. The main suite boasts a custom dressing room, a corner bath with a teak soaking tub, and a marble steam shower. Other highlights include a lacquered bar, a gold-tiled powder room, and a chef's kitchen with cobalt blue cabinetry. Strong is best known for scripting Recount, The Butler, Dopesick, and two Hunger Games films.

Kookaï seeks new franchisees as relaunch continues in France

At the end of 2023, French fashion group Antonelle-Un jour ailleurs (UJA) bought womenswear retailer Kookaï following receivership proceedings. The group decided to keep 33 of Kookaï's retail outlets (16 stores and 17 corners) and 70 employees. Having kept a low profile since then, Antonelle-UJA is now talking again about Kookaï's relaunch, as the brand is trying to win back the place it had in French consumers' hearts. Though the market is still tough to navigate, Samy Cohen, president of Antonelle-UJA, said he has 'managed to open some 15 new stores in the last year and a half, most of them directly owned and some with franchisees.' Last year, Kookaï opened stores in the French towns of Brest, Castres and Haguenau, and this year in Metz. Kookaï now operates about 50 retail outlets (between monobrand stores and department store concessions), and is seeking new partners to expand its store fleet. Five new openings with franchisees are scheduled before the end of 2025, notably in Béthune and La Baule. Kookaï is looking to open in towns with over 30,000 inhabitants, where it seeks city-centre premises of 70 to 120 square metres. In 2026, it is hoping to open between 10 and 15 new stores. The difficulties experienced by many fashion retailers, for example Comptoir des Cotonniers and IKKS, are regarded as opportunities by Kookaï, which is hoping to win over some of these struggling brands' franchisees. The contract the group is offering includes an entry fee of €10,000. Cohen has not disclosed Kookaï's revenue, but said that the retailer has grown 15% in like-for-like terms since the start of 2025. He attributed this positive result to the brand's repositioning following the acquisition. 'Between 2017 and 2023, [Kookaï] belonged to an Australian businessman, Rob Cromb, who introduced a sexy style more appropriate to his market, targeting young women between 20 and 30 years old. We have reoriented the brand toward a French clientèle, with less daring looks, while preserving the contemporary feminine touch typical of Kookaï,' said Cohen. The brand has shifted its main target to 35-40-year-olds, and has slightly raised prices to feature higher quality fabrics. Kookaï's design team works at the group's headquarters in Pantin, alongside the staff of Antonelle and UJA. 'They are physically in the same building, but each brand functions independently,' said Cohen. Antonelle and UJA are both targeting an older clientèle. While Antonelle's results are described as 'variable,' UJA, which was bought by the group in 2020, has extended its footprint, growing from 'a revenue of €10 million at the time of the acquisition to €25 million now,' said Cohen, a result achieved by opening both directly owned and franchised stores. Cohen is always on the lookout for market opportunities, but isn't aiming to buy a new brand, he is more inclined to make a move for 'suitable store locations.' The Antonelle-UJA group employs more than 400 people, including 100 for Kookaï. Kookaï was founded in Paris's Sentier district in 1983 by Jean- Lou Tepper, Jacques Nataf and Philippe de Hesdin. It was owned by the Vivarte group between 1996 and 2017, when it was acquired by its Oceania franchisee, the Magi Group, led by Rob Cromb. Kookaï made a name for itself 40 years ago in France by creating the 'kookaïette' look, bringing a touch of impertinence to the mid-range fashion segment thanks to its colourful, easy-to-wear knitwear and high-impact advertising campaigns.

Nuclear expert questions whether Iran moved enriched uranium before US strike

Nuclear expert Michael Cohen speculates whether Iran may have transported enriched uranium before the US targeted their nuclear facilities. Maxar Satellite Imagery reveals 16 cargo trucks lined along the main road approaching an underground tunnel entrance of the Fordow Fuel Enrichment Facility. 'Crucially, what has been moved before the attack, hard to say — potentially easier to move enriched fuel — much harder if not impossible to move the enrichment facilities that enrich that fuel,' Mr Cohen told Sky News Australia. 'It depends on what the enriched uranium is stored in and how far away it has been moved. 'We don't know what other facilities are nearby, how far the Iranians moved them, and wherever they've been moved to have been beyond the range of the bunker-buster bombs.'

Arnold Schwarzenegger reveals movie that earned him ‘well above' $40m — and it's not Terminator

Arnold Schwarzenegger has revealed which film made him the most amount of money — and surprisingly, it wasn't his best-known movie, Terminator. The former Republican Governor of California, 77, whose acting career has spanned more than five decades, was asked which past project had earned him the biggest paycheck during an appearance on Monday's episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. 'It was Twins because we had gotten no money, no salary,' he said, 'but we got ownership, and a piece of the backend.' Schwarzenegger starred inTwins alongside Danny DeVito. Released in 1988, the comedy-action film grossed over $216.6 million at the worldwide box office. While the Total Recall actor refrained from giving the exact amount he took home he confirmed that it was well above $40 million. 'It was more than any movie I've ever made,' he disclosed. 'Let's just put it that way.' Directed by Ivan Reitman, the movie was about a pair of genetically engineered twins, separated at birth. After their birth mother is falsely told they are dead, Schwarzenegger's Julius learns the truth about his family and sets out to find them. Asked if he retained ownership of Twins 2, Schwarzenegger corrected Cohen, telling him that they never made a sequel. In 2012, reports broke about a long-awaited sequel titled Triplets; however, it never got made because Reitman died 'just before we wanted to start shooting it,' Schwarzenegger explained. Reitman, also known for helming several Ghostbusters movies, died from natural causes in 2022. He was 75. Schwarzenegger revealed that had the movie come to fruition, Eddie Murphy would've starred as his and DeVito's triplet. 'Aw that would've been great!' Cohen exclaimed. BeforeTwins, the Austrian actor had primarily starred in action movies, including The Terminator (1984), Commando (1985), Predator (1987), and the Stephen King adaptation of The Running Man (1987). Twins marked the Schwarzenegger's first comedic role. He's since gone on to lead other comedies such as Kindergarten Cop (1990), Last Action Hero (1993), and Jingle All the Way (1996). Schwarzenegger currently leads Netflix's action series, FUBAR, which premiered its second season earlier this month. The show, which also features Monica Barbaro, Travis Van Winkle, and Aparna Brielle, is about a CIA operative (Schwarzenegger), who is forced to return to the field for one last assignment after discovering a family secret.

MSU standout WR Nick Marsh included on national 'top 10 breakout candidates' list

Read more here ⬇️ Does Michigan State have one of the breakout stars in all of college football on its roster this season? Michael Cohen of FOX Sports believes that to be the case. Cohen released a list of his top 10 breakout candidates for the upcoming college football season, and there was one Spartan who made this national list. Cohen included Spartans sophomore wide receiver Nick Marsh on that notable list. Marsh -- who has a four-star prospect in the 2024 class -- had a pretty solid freshman season this past year, recording 41 receptions for 649 yards and three touchdowns. He was especially important in two of the Spartans' top wins against Maryland and Iowa as well last season. Here's what Cohen had to say about Marsh and why he's included on this list: "A quiet season-opener against Florida Atlantic gave way to the finest game of Marsh's young career when he caught eight passes for 194 yards and a touchdown in the 27-24 win over Maryland on Sept. 7. His 77-yard touchdown reception in the fourth quarter was the longest by a Michigan State player since former wideout Jayden Reed caught an 85-yard score against Youngstown State in 2021. It marked the first of two 100-yard games for Marsh, who finished eighth in the Big Ten in yards per catch (15.8) and second among the conference's freshmen at 59 receiving yards per game. Marsh proved particularly effective between the hashes, with more than 29% of his receptions coming across the middle on throws measuring 10 yards or fewer downfield, according to Pro Football Focus. Of his 62 total targets last season, more than 40 of them were on throws that attacked the middle at various depths. His connection with second-year starting quarterback Aidan Chiles, who was turnover-prone last season, will be a key barometer for Michigan State's offense this fall." Marsh is expected to be one of the Spartans' top offensive weapons this upcoming season, and if he is in fact a breakout player, then Michigan State will possess a pretty solid offense. Him and Chiles will be massive indicators for success for the Spartans in 2025. Michigan State officially opens the 2025 season on August 29 in a home game against Western Michigan. Kickoff from Spartan Stadium is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET and the game will be televised on FS1.
