Agniveer recruitment rally: Army official inspects CEE centres
Prayagraj: Deputy director general recruiting (states), Headquarters Recruiting Zone, Lucknow, Brigadier Swarn Singh inspected the online Common Entrance Examination (CEE) centres in Prayagraj on Monday. Defence PRO, Wing Commander Debartho Dhar, said as part of the Indian Army's ongoing commitment to fair and technology-driven recruitment, the senior officer visited TCS iON Digital Zone, Sallahapur, and iTech Zone, Jhunsi, to assess the conduct and administration of the online CEE being held for the Agniveer Recruitment Rally 2025. The online CEE is being conducted pan-India from June 30 to July 10, under the aegis of the Recruiting Directorate, Indian Army. Introduced two years ago as a major reform initiative, the digital examination process represents a paradigm shift in the Army's approach to recruitment, aimed at ensuring transparency, fairness and ease of access for candidates from all backgrounds. Singh undertook a comprehensive review of the operational setup at both examination centres. Agniveer common entrance exam from June 30 to July 10
Colonel Pushwinder Kaur, Director Recruiting, Army Recruiting Office, Shimla, has informed that the online Common Entrance Examination for Agniveer recruitment under the Agnipath scheme will be held from June 30 , 2025, to July 10, 2025. The exam will be held at HP College Education (Shimla), Green Hills Engineering College (Solan), Maharaja Agrasen University (Baddi) for the candidates of four districts i.e. Shimla, Sirmaur, Solan and Kinnaur. Details of exam centres, schedule, reporting date and time of the exam will be available on Admit Cards. The Admit Cards may be downloaded from the Join Indian Army (JIA) website by the registered candidates using their credentials. Admit Card for AVGD category has been uploaded and Admit Card for all other categories will be uploaded on June 18, 2025. The Director advised that all registered candidates to report with their Admit Cards to the examination centres as per the schedule. Candidates can visit the official website of Indian Army and login with their User ID. After login, click on the 'Download CEE Admit Card' option on the left side of the screen. The admit card can be downloaded after entering the JIA roll number mentioned on the candidate's payment receipt and password. In case of loss of receipt, it can be re-downloaded from the tab 'History of Application' section on the website. Important documents for verification All candidates are required to bring all original certificates as proof of ID on the day of examination. This is mandatory for the identification of candidates to appear in the examination.

Puducherry entrance exam for B.Sc nursing under government quota on June 29
Puducherry: The Directorate of Health and Family Welfare Services, Government of Puducherry, has announced the schedule for the Common Entrance Examination for admission to Nursing courses under the government quota. The exam will be conducted on June 29, 2025. As per the notification issued by the Director of Medical Services, the application process will be held online through the official CENTAC (Centralised Admission Committee) website. Online registration will commence on May 15, and the last date for submission of applications is May 30. The entrance exam has been mandated following the Indian Nursing Council's (INC) directive —Notification No. 22-10/NEET/2018-19-INC dated January 13, 2025. It is compulsory for all candidates aspiring for admission under the government quota in both government and private nursing institutions in the Union Territory of Puducherry. Students who have completed their Class 12 and wish to pursue Nursing under the government quota must appear for and qualify this entrance test. Admissions will be based strictly on the marks obtained in the exam and will adhere to the reservation policies already in place, as administered by CENTAC. Additionally, admission to self-supporting and NRI quota seats at the College of Nursing, Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Research Institute (IGMC&RI) and the Mother Theresa Post Graduate and Research Institute (MTPG&RI) in Puducherry and Karaikal will be based on NEET 2025 scores. Admissions to management quota seats in private institutions will continue to follow the procedures adopted in previous years. Officials have also clarified that a separate entrance exam will be conducted for admission to administrative quota seats in private nursing colleges. Authorities noted the contrast with Tamil Nadu, where admissions to nursing courses are still based on Class 12 marks, while Puducherry candidates now face a mandatory entrance test.
