Due to the Peacock soaps' advanced filming schedule, Flynn will still be on-screen playing Chad until January 2026. That means Chad will be MIA for a couple of months before Floyd begins in the role. The Young and the Restless has yet to reveal Floyd's last air date or whether the character will be recast. Considering Chance has been on the back burner for months, the character likely won't be recast and will probably disappear into a soap opera abyss.
