One person is dead and multiple people are injured in Arizona after a crash on Coppermine Road in Page Police said a sedan 'crossed the center line' of a roadway and 'collided head-on with a tour bus' The tour bus involved was from Antelope Slot Canyon ToursOne person is dead and multiple people are injured following a crash between a tour bus and another vehicle in Arizona. The Page Police Department in Arizona shared in a Facebook post that officers responded to a 'two-vehicle accident with injuries' on May 14 on Coppermine Road near the popular Roam campground in Page. Officers discovered that a sedan traveling southbound 'crossed the center line' and 'collided head on with a tour bus' traveling northbound. Police said the driver of the sedan 'died as a result of the injuries they sustained in the accident.' It's unclear if the driver was alone in the sedan. Police added that "multiple people' on the tour bus sustained 'serious injuries' from the collision. Authorities did not share how many people were on the tour bus or what kind of injuries they may have sustained. The front of the white tour bus featured a large dent with several vehicle parts laid out on the road in front of it. Several feet away from it, a tan-colored sedan could be seen. The entire front of the vehicle appeared to be crushed and the driver's side door of the vehicle was open. Skid marks could be seen on the road in front of the car. According to the company's website, Antelope Slot Canyon Tours provides transportation and tours to Antelope Slot Canyon, which is located about 7 miles from the center of Page, Ariz. The tour's vehicles are described as "4×4 Vans." Antelope Slot Canyon Tours did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment on the incident. Coppermine Road was closed between Haul Road and 98 for several hours as police investigated and cleared the scene.
