Michigan State basketball PG Jeremy Fears throws out first pitch at Chicago White Sox game

Michigan State basketball point guard Jeremy Fears Jr. signed a pretty cool NIL deal recently, becoming one of the Chicago White Sox, "CHISOX Athletes". The Chicago White Sox have brought back their NIL program, dubbed as CHISOX Athletes, and Fears was selected. Being in the program, athlete partners will receive branding opportunities across White Sox platforms, a professional photoshoot at a Chicagoland venue and custom gear. Advertisement On Friday, Fears was able to throw out the first pitch for the White Sox game against the San Francisco Giants. A cool experience for the MSU point guard, returning to his home state. Michigan State high priority offensive lineman nearing decision, down to three schools

Michigan State has had a red hot month of June in the recruiting department, gaining 17 commitments and getting the total number in the class up to 21. There is still another prospect from the month the Spartans are close to landing. While the Spartans have pieced together an outstanding recruiting class in the offensive line, there is still one more piece left in the puzzle. Adrian 'Ace' Hamilton is gearing up to make his college decision on July 5, where he will announce his commitment. The Spartans are in that race alongside Virginia and Virginia Tech. A 6-foot-2, 290 pound offensive lineman, the Spartans see him as the center of the future. A Washington, D.C. native, attending St. John's College, he is a high 3-star target that Michigan State has had held in high regard. He took a visit to East Lansing on June 2. Michigan State football extends offer to 2027 wide receiver from East St. Louis

Michigan State has done a phenomenal job recruiting the 2026 recruiting class in the month June, but now, the focus has slightly transferred to the 2027 recruiting class. Over the course of the month, in the background of the official visits taking place, the Spartans have also been hosting camps for underclassmen prospects and prospects looking to earn themselves an offer. On Sunday, the Spartans were hosting a 7-on-7 tournament in place of a camp. While a Detroit native wide receiver received a roster as a result of the event, another prospect, a wide receiver from East St. Louis, Illinois, also received an offer. Ronnie Gomiller received the offer, a 5-foot-10 and 160 pound wide receiver, he has not yet been ranked by recruiting websites. He has received additional offers from Indiana, Kansas State and Maryland. Michigan State football releases ticket information for Ford Field showdown with Maryland

Michigan State football will be returning to Ford Field for the 2025 season finale against Maryland. This will be the Spartans third time playing inside of Ford Field, and will be a similar setup to the Spartans season finale in 2023 against Penn State. A game on Thanksgiving weekend at Ford Field is a unique opportunity for the fanbase, allowing the metro Detroit portion of the fan base to have a local opportunity to catch a game, all while avoiding the potential for a poorly attended game at Spartan Stadium in gross weather. Advertisement While the Nov. 29 game is a long ways away, fans are learning what the ticket information for the game is going to be, and how they can obtain tickets for the Spartans and Terrapins showdown. Per the Michigan State athletics press release: "From June 2-23, a presale to buy up to eight tickets will be available to Spartan Fund members and football season ticket holders in Spartan Fund donor priority order. Tickets will begin at $49. Presale purchases will require a one-time use promo code provided by the Spartan Ticket Office via email that will be sent on the donor level on-sale date." General admission tickets will begin being sold on June 24.
