3 arrested after early-morning stabbing in North Vancouver: police
Three women have been arrested after an early-morning stabbing in North Vancouver on Saturday, with police saying two of them needed hospitalization for their injuries. North Vancouver RCMP say that they were called around 2:45 a.m. PT on Saturday after reports of a distraught woman near the Lonsdale Quay bus loop. Police say she had stabbing injuries, and they later found two other women on the second floor of a building above the bus loop. One of them also had similar injuries. According to police, the three women were involved in a dispute and an assault occurred, and they think the stabbings are isolated in nature. "There was a dispute between the parties, who were known to each other, before the alleged assault occurred," said Cpl. Mansoor Sahak in a statement. Police say the three arrested women are in their early 20s. Of those three, the two who were injured were also hospitalized, one with minor injuries and the other with serious injuries. Police say anyone with more information on the case should contact them.

3 women arrested after altercation, stabbing at North Vancouver's Lonsdale Quay
Police in North Vancouver say they've arrested three women in connection to a stabbing that occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning at Lonsdale Quay. Officers responded to 'reports of a distraught female' near the bus loop around 2:45 a.m., North Vancouver RCMP said in a news release Saturday afternoon. When they arrived, officers found a woman who had 'injuries consistent with being assaulted with an edged weapon,' police said. As the investigation continued, police found two other women on the second floor, above the bus loop. Police said one of them had similar injuries to the woman found on the lower floor. 'It's alleged that the three females were involved in a dispute and an assault occurred,' the RCMP release reads. 'Investigators believe this is an isolated incident and there is no risk to the public currently.' All three women were taken into custody for the alleged assaults, and two of the three were taken to hospital for 'injuries ranging from minor to serious,' according to police. 'As the investigation is in its very early stages, there are a lot of unanswered questions that police are seeking answers for,' said Cpl. Mansoor Sahak, in the release. 'What we do know is that there was a dispute between the parties, who were known to each other, before the alleged assault occurred.' Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident and has not yet spoken to investigators to contact them at 604-985-1311 and quote file number 25-15578.

Man arrested after stabbing at North Vancouver construction site, RCMP say
Police have arrested a suspect following a reported stabbing at a construction site in North Vancouver on Thursday. The incident happened shortly before noon at a worksite near West 1st Street and Pemberton Avenue, North Vancouver RCMP said in a news release. Responding officers managed to locate and arrest a suspect 'a short distance' from the scene, the RCMP said. The victim was taken to hospital with injuries that authorities described as minor. 'This was a frightening and unsettling incident for the workers,' said Cpl. Mansoor Sahak, in a statement. The motive for the stabbing is unclear, but authorities said the suspect and victim know each other. Officers from the West Vancouver Police Department were in the area and helped in the response, Sahak said. The RCMP asked anyone who witnessed the incident and hasn't spoken with police to contact the North Vancouver detachment at 604-985-1311 and quote file number 25-11369.
