24th Katara Tech Forum to begin on Monday
DOHA: The Cultural Village Foundation - Katara, will launch the 24th Katara Tech Forum on Monday, under the theme 'Autism Spectrum Disorder Innovation, Inclusion, and Quality of Life'. The two-day forum aims to highlight autism spectrum disorder through three main themes: Innovation, by showcasing the latest technologies and innovative solutions that support individuals with autism spectrum disorder and facilitate their integration into society; Inclusion, by discussing best practices for creating inclusive environments that address their needs and contribute to enhancing their interaction and community participation; and Quality of Life, by focusing on ways to improve the quality of life for individuals with autism and their families through integrated educational, health, and social programs. The forum, in cooperation with the International Business Council (IBC), will host a group of experts, specialists, decision-makers, and pioneering initiative creators, making it an important platform for exchanging knowledge and experiences and exploring opportunities for collaboration. Katara affirmed that by organising this forum, it renews its ongoing commitment to supporting community issues and hosting events that contribute to raising awareness and promoting a culture of inclusion and innovation.

Katara organises diverse events to promote environmental awareness
DOHA: The Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) has organised a series of diverse environmental events to promote environmental awareness among various segments of society. The events, organised by Katara as part of its celebration of World Environment Day, included an exhibition titled 'The Story of the Earth in a Stamp', held in collaboration with the Qatar Society of Engineers. The exhibition showcased the stories of the Earth through postage stamps, which carried valuable environmental messages. Katara also organised the 'A Land That Tells and Eyes That Document' exhibition, which highlighted the aesthetics of the environment through the lenses of a group of photographers whose works represent an invitation to contemplate nature and a message to raise awareness of the importance of protecting the planet and its creatures. This exhibition reflects the importance of the environment and promotes collective responsibility to protect it for a more balanced and cleaner future. A number of photographers participated in the exhibition, including Jassim Ahmed Al Buainain, Hamad Khalifa Al Khulaifi, Mohammed Al Shaabi, Nasser Aqeel Al Emadi, Ali Saif Al-Din, Abdullah Al Muadhin, Abdulqader Allam, Wassim Al Khader, Faisal Al Jarkas, Saeed Mohammed Fayrouz, Mohammed Najib Nasr, Abdullah Abdulhamid Al Muslih, Khalifa Al Mansouri, Ahmed Al Fadala, and Jassim Al Maliki. The photographers took visitors on a contemplative visual journey through their photographs, capturing rare scenes of Qatar's wildlife, from birds soaring in the sky to vibrant marine creatures in the depths of the water, highlighting the details of nature. As part of a series of diverse environmental activities, Katara Art Studios hosted a series of workshops for children, including the 'Creating Plant Pots' workshop, the 'Creating a Luminous Insect' workshop, and the '3D Art from the Marine Environment' workshop, scheduled for next Sunday. The workshops aim to develop children's environmental awareness and enrich their knowledge, artistic and creative skills, thus strengthening their connection to the environment around them in a fun and interactive way.
