APSSDC announces job opportunities in Kuwait
The Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) and the Overseas Manpower Company of Andhra Pradesh (OMCAP), in collaboration with That Ruya ( have announced a new international job placement initiative aimed at providing skilled construction workers from Andhra Pradesh with employment opportunities in Kuwait. In a statement, APSSDC Executive Director D. Manohar said applications are invited from male candidates aged between 24 and 50 years, holding an ITI/Diploma in ceramic flooring, painting, electrical or ceiling works, along with three to five years of relevant work experience. The job location is Kuwait. A monthly salary between KWD 200 and 250 (approximately ₹56,000 to ₹70,000) is being offered. Employment will be under a two-year contract and the employer will cover visa processing, flight tickets, medical facilities and shared accommodation. Interested candidates should submit a valid passport, ITI/Diploma certificate and work experience certificate. APSSDC, OMCAP ink MoU with Matrix Overseas to facilitate global job opportunities for Andhra Pradesh youth
The Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) and the Overseas Manpower Company of Andhra Pradesh (OMCAP) have signed a tri-partite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with M/s. Matrix Overseas Services Private Limited, a recruiting agency accredited by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. The partnership deal, signed at the APSSDC office at Tadepalli on Friday (June 13), is a key initiative under the Skill International Programme of the Department of Skill Development and Training, Government of Andhra Pradesh. Executive Director, APSSDC, and General Manager of OMCAP D. Manohar, said the partnership is aimed at enhancing the global employability of youth from the State by upgrading their skills to meet international standards. Through this collaboration, a pilot training programme has been launched targeting unemployed youth in the skilled welders and pipe fitters sector. The programme is designed to align with global workforce requirements and facilitate overseas placements for qualified candidates, he informed. Mr. Manohar emphasised the rise in global demand for skilled manpower and reiterated the State's commitment to equipping its youth with the capabilities needed to access international employment opportunities. Key stakeholders, including representatives of Matrix Overseas Services Private Limited Shiju Varkey and C. James and General Manager, APSSDC G. Kishore Kumar, were present.
