Vile reaction as TV star, 62, marries 34-year-old
The wedding video of a popular British TV host has been flooded with cruel remarks after he tied-the-knot for the third time with a woman 28-years his junior. Katie Dadzie, 34, married 62-year-old Nick Knowles, the star of cult UK home reno show DIY SOS, in a lavish ceremony last month that reportedly cost 'six figures'. But after sharing a heartwarming video from their nuptials, the new Mrs Knowles became the target of cruel online trolls who bombarded her photos with a series of nasty remarks. Others flooded a video of the pair's nuptials with a barrage of abuse noting their considerable age-gap. 'Third time's a charm. Especially with someone young enough to be your daughter...' one snared. 'I thought he was waiting to give his daughter away,' scoffed another. The awful abuse sparked a wave of support from many of Katie's followers who urged others to think twice before leaving hateful remarks. 'This is Katie's personal Instagram page not a tabloid page. Please think before posting your commenting on her wedding photos,' one pleaded. 'Katie, I'm so so sorry you have had to put up with such vitriol on what should have been one of the best times of your life,' another said. As one noted: 'These awful comments! And all from women. What's happened to people that they feel the need to be so nasty about somebody's wedding day.' 'Why are people so hung up on age difference? They're a good looking couple and love is indiscriminate,' added someone else. Instead of letting the cyber bullying get to her, Katie instead decided to 'furiously hit back', and recently began responding to inappropriate comments left on wedding photos she later posted, The Sun reports. When one troll commented on the fact her new husband is almost three decades older than her by writing, 'I give it one year', Katie responded: 'Amount of f**ks given.' Another troll snared, 'I give it three months,' prompting the new bride, who is a mother-of-two, to clap back with a tongue-in-cheek comment, writing: 'I give it a year.' One speculated that neither Katie kids or Knowles' four from his two previous marriages were at the big day, prompting her to ask: 'Did you see that in the front row?' The couple met in 2019 when their Katie's daughters and Nick's youngest son, Eddie, became playmates. However, they didn't get together until 2021 when the pair 'bumped into each other' and were both single. 'And that was that. It's very handy to have kids the same ages – they play together really well, which is lovely,' he told Closer previously. In their wedding snaps and video, the smitten pair could be seen enjoying their first slow dance together after exchanging vows at Braxted Park in Essex while surrounded by friends and family. Nick and Katie reported 'spared no expense on the big day' which is rumoured to have cost six figures with their lavish spending continuing into their Ibiza honeymoon which has been estimated to cost £2000 (around $4000 Australian Dollars) a night. The couple chartered a luxury yacht to sail around the party island and were seen snuggling and cuddling as they soaked up the sun.

Nick Knowles's new wife Katie hits back at trolls who targeted them over their 28-year age-gap
Nick Knowles 's new wife Katie Dadzie has brutally hit back at online critics of their 28-year age gap. The lingerie business owner, 34, tied the knot with the DIY SOS star, 62, last month and their wedding pictures on Instagram have been slammed by naysayers. Katie is now hitting back and in response to a comment that read 'I give it one year', she responded: 'Amount of f**ks given.' Another critic claimed that the couple's children from prior relationships did not attend the wedding, to which Katie replied: 'Did you see that in the front row?' 'I give it three months,' added another troll and Katie jokingly hit back: 'I give it a year.' The hate comments came after Nick and Katie shared glimpses into their lavish wedding on social media. The DIY SOS presenter cut a sharp figure in a dusky pink jacket after exchanging vows with his lingerie brand boss bride during a lavish six-figure wedding at Braxted Park, Essex. And the fun continued into the night, as the couple shared a series of sweet photos and clips on Instagram from their happy day. Katie wowed in a stunning second white bridal dress for the reception while Nick looked dapper in a pink blazer. The newlyweds showed off their fun side as they posed in a photobooth wearing costume hats and Katie held a wired telephone. The couple began dating in 2021 after they met when their children became friends at a play centre and got engaged in 2023. Katie and the TV star have been subject to cruel trolling during their relationship, with critics mocking their age difference and financial setup. Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, about the 'gold digger' jibes, Katie admitted they don't get to her as much as they used to because she and Nick know it's not true. Katie said of their age gap: 'I think at the start, it was probably more irritating, especially for my family. But now those comments kind of just pass over me because we both know it's not true. Katie stressed: 'Nick works hard, he has what he has. I work hard, I have what I have and then we buy each other stuff.' Katie continued: 'We're both really comfortable with where we are with that and you will always get it because there's an age gap. 'I know plenty of people who are together and the same age where someone's using the other one for money and they're not happy. 'So as long as I know it's not true and he knows it's not true, I think that's, that's pretty much all that matters.' Nick has an estimated £7.5 million net worth but Katie has built up an impressive lingerie brand, having launched Boa Boa in 2022. She has proved to be her own best advert for the brand, modelling the skimpy looks to her 102,000 Instagram followers.

Nick Knowles' wife Katie reveals truth about why she looked so ‘disinterested' at six-figure wedding after bride shaming
NICK Knowles' new wife Katie has hit back after bride shamers slammed her for looking "disinterested" at their six-figure wedding. The DIY SOS star tied the knot with Katie, who's 27 years his junior, at an Essex stately home last month, before they celebrated their marriage on a £2k a day honeymoon yacht. 6 6 6 6 Despite being back at home now, Katie is still enjoying reliving her special day, and took to TikTok to share a video of Nick's emotional reaction to her walking down the aisle. "When he looks at you like this..." she wrote over the top. In the clip, Katie was seen looking stunning in a white dress with unusual blue detailing, as she walked down to meet Nick, who had opted for a powder pink tux for his big day. The 62-year-old appeared overcome with emotion as he greeted Katie at the altar with a kiss. And the pair were then seen waiting to exchange their vows. "Walking up the aisle to the man who said he wouldn't cry… and completely failed," Katie wrote in the caption. However, a lot of comments pointed out that while Nick couldn't stop staring giddily at his soon-to-be wife, Katie seemed to be struggling to make eye contact with her man. "She doesn't look interested," one wrote. "Did she really want to marry him?" another questioned. "I thought the same," a third commented. We just tied the knot at Glastonbury in front of 500 strangers - I wore a £27 Shein dress & we saved £20K on the DJ too "He keeps looking at her wistfully but she looks as if she didn't want to be there….strange…." someone else said. "Looks like she's ready to go home lol," another added. "She doesn't look at him and looks like she doesn't want to be there," someone else said. "Well you look very unhappy," another insisted. "Yeah I'm getting 'I'm being forced into this' vibes from her," someone else cruelly wrote. "Awww she's the most unhappy bride I've ever seen and I hate that for her if it was just nerves," another said. Wedding makeup do's and dont's Paige Williams, Founder & CEO of the iconic makeup brand shared her tips. DO: Go timeless over trendy We all love a trend babe, but for your wedding day? Let's keep it classic. Think soft glam, radiant skin, neutral tones with a pop of sparkle - You want to look back in ten years and still be obsessed with your glam. Classic never goes out of style. DON'T: Try something totally new Your wedding day is not the time to switch it up with neon liner or completely new brows babe. You want to feel like you, just the most elevated, glowing version. Stick to what you know makes you feel confident and gorgeous. DO: Prioritise long-wear formulas Your wedding is a marathon, not a sprint. You're not just walking down the aisle, you're dancing, hugging, crying, and posing all day long. You need makeup that's in it for the long haul. Go for waterproof, transfer-proof & cry-proof products. Your face needs to slay from 'I do' to the last dance and be able to handle those happy tears. DON'T: Overload your base Babes, less is more. You want coverage, not cake. Go for that breathable, buildable base that lets your real skin glow through. You're aiming for flawless, not flat. Trust me, your photos will thank you. DO: Book a trial Non-negotiable. Whether you're DIY-ing your glam or booking a MUA, a trial is your makeup dress rehearsal. Test it in daylight, take selfies, wear it for hours. It's the only way to know it'll hit just right on the day. DON'T: Forget your neck & chest Don't stop the glam at your jawline, babe. Blend that foundation, bronzer and glow down to your neck and chest, we're going for seamless, snatched and sculpted from every angle. You're the main event, let it show. "It's 10 seconds of video out of an entire 13 hour day meant to be about the way he looks at me," Katie hit back. "I was so nervous, every time I saw him crying I started and I had a full face of make up. "I wanted to stay on my face for more than just the first hour of the day!" "God forbid someone is nervous on their wedding day in front of people," she added in response to another comment, while saying to someone else that she gave "no f**ks" about the criticism. And there were also those in the comments who defended Katie. "I didn't look at my husband either when saying my vows as I didn't want to cry," one wrote. "We've been married for 20 years. I wouldn't read too much into it!" "Ffs folk read so much into things," another added. "If they make each other happy then leave them be. Getting married in front of a room of people and cameras is nerve wracking. "Wishing you guys all the best." "Finally a bride as nervous as I was on my wedding day," a third commented. "Someone came up to me after and said 'you looked so stern'. "It made me so sad because it was one of the happiest moments for me but yes I was nervous and hate being the centre of attention." 6 6

Family set to be filmed for DIY SOS launch appeal to bring 13-year-old son home
A family set to be filmed on DIY SOS has issued an urgent appeal for help to bring their 13-year-old son home. Dan Flemen's life drastically changed after he began experiencing flu-like symptoms in November 2022. This turned out to be a sign of a severe brain tumour. Dan went from being an active teenager volunteering at church to needing constant care after a stroke left him with severe disabilities. He is now non-verbal, cannot sit unaided, requires night-time ventilation support, and needs round-the-clock care. Dan has had to stay in hospital since his diagnosis (Image: Supplied) Due to the extensively specialised care Dan now requires, his family home no longer meets the requirements for his needs. His house in Freckleton, Lancashire, is not accessible, meaning that Dan has had to stay in hospital since his diagnosis in November 2022. Dan's mum, Julie, has moved into hospital accommodation to be close to her son, while his dad, Nigel, and two sisters travel more than 50 miles to be with him. The renovations required to transform the family home into a safe and suitable environment for Dan include a private accessible bedroom, an adapted bathroom, facilities for full-time care and a suitable social space. Getting these changes made quickly and under budget means Dan can be with his family as soon as the work is finished. However, these renovations are far beyond the family's means. Good news has come in the form of a community effort.
