Intra-college phase schedule of DOST notified
Hyderabad: In the interest of students, Prof. V. Balakista Reddy, Chairman of TGCHE and Convener of DOST-2025, along with A. Sri Devasena, Commissioner of Collegiate Education and SPDRUSA, announced the Intra-College Phase to assist students in making informed choices about their faculty selections. A communiqué from TGCHE on Monday stated that the Intra-College Phase schedule for DOST-2025-26 will begin on July 9. Accordingly, the web options for the Intra-College Phase will be available from July 9 to 10. The publication of available seats for the Intra-College Phase will be released on July 11. Candidates from Phases I, II, and III who have confirmed their seats in their allotted colleges will be eligible for participation in the Intra-College Phase, as stated in the announcement.

Nizam College leads DOST Phase-I intake with over 90% allotment
Nizam College and Veeranari Chakali Ilamma Women's University saw the maximum intake of students recording over 97% (1,170 candidates) and 93% (1,724), respectively, in the Degree Online Services Telangana (DOST) 2025-26 phase-I allotment. Six colleges affiliated to Osmania University were also in the top-10 list of colleges that were readily allotted in the exercise. A total of 89,572 candidates had registered for phase-I and 60,436 candidates were allotted seats. About 4,755 candidates could not be allotted a seat because of their limited choice, officials said. Data from Telangana Council of Higher Education also showed that about 42,000 candidates got their seat allotted on first-priority basis. Female candidates, 38,041 in all, were dominant in the allotment and intake compared to 22,395 male candidates. Except the top ranker in Commerce and Management, all other disciplines such as Life Science, Arts, and Physical Sciences, had female toppers and top-five rankers. Of the 805 colleges on DOST-2025, there are 74 colleges that were not allotted any students. The phase-II registrations and web options, as per the schedule, will continue till June 9 and the seat allotment will be done on June 13.

DOST-2025 notification for degree college admissions released
The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) on Friday released the notification for Degree Online Services, Telangana (DOST-2025) for admissions to undergraduate programmes in the various State universities. TGCHE chairman and DOST convener V. Balakista Reddy and Commissioner, Collegiate Education A. Sridevasena participated in the release. DOST will be a single online window on the official website: All students who have passed the Intermediate Public Examinations are eligible to apply through DOST. The phase-I registrations with a fee of ₹200 will begin on May 3 and continue till May 21. The phase-I seat allotment will be done on May 29, following which the phase-II registrations with a fee of ₹400 will begin on May 30. The seat allotment will be done on June 13. The phase-III registrations with a fee of ₹400 will continue from June 13 to 19, and seat allotment will be disclosed on June 23. As per the notification, classwork of all undergraduate programmes in semester-I will begin on June 30. For admissions to D-Pharmacy, the schedule will be announced in the last week of May. TGCHE vice-chairman SK. Mahmood, Secretary Sriram Venkatesh and other officials were present.
