According to OCD 6 Director Raul Fernandez, local government units (LGUs) need to review development plans to pad further flooding, especially mitigation measures addressing the growing number of negative impacts of climate change to the environment, human health, and vulnerable communities. Meanwhile, after declaring a state of calamity, the Provincial Government of Antique will use its Quick Response Fund for the repair of at least 196 houses destroyed by the series of weather disturbances.
