On Friday, July 4, the waters of the Guadalupe River rose swiftly and the camp faced deadly flooding that ravaged central Texas and claimed the lives of multiple girls and their counselors during the annual summertime retreat, PEOPLE previously reported. In a video taken Friday by Camp Mystic nurse Devon Paige Williams and shared with CNN, the campers can be heard singing a worship song as they're driven past downed trees and emergency workers. On their way to safety, the girls appeared to break into a rendition of "Pass It On," which according to the outlet, is a classic among attendees.
