Exclusive - Dipshikkha Nagppal: My Trip to the U.S. Was Impromptu and Unforgettable

Actress Dipshikkha Nagpal recently enjoyed a much-deserved break from her hectic shooting schedule and took off for a memorable trip to the United States. Known for her powerful on-screen presence, Dipshikkha shared how her recent getaway turned into an experience full of warmth, spontaneity, and cultural pride. 'When you're doing a daily soap, you hardly get any time to travel,' she said. 'If you're planning a trip to the USA, you need at least 25–30 days because one week just goes into recovering from jet lag!' Dipshikkha revealed that her close friend and actress Kashmera Shah had been inviting her to visit Los Angeles for a long time. 'She has a beautiful house in LA and always insisted we come stay there. But with work, no one really gets 30 days off in one stretch. So the moment I found out I had a month's leave, I booked my ticket on impulse and joined her in LA.' But her trip didn't end there. As soon as people in New York learned she was in the country, she was invited to attend the curtain raiser event for the 5th India Day Parade. 'It was such an honour,' Dipshikkha said, glowing with pride. 'The Indian community in Long Island is so beautiful. There's so much love and support amongst them, and they gave me so much of it too. They even honoured me with a certificate—it felt truly special. To receive such love for your work from people outside your country is heartwarming.' She received an Executive Citation certificate at the IDP USA Curtain Raiser for her dedicated service to Nassau County residents, a moment she describes as both humbling and memorable. She also made sure to spend a little time soaking in the energy of Times Square. 'I was there for just a day or two, but I made the most of it. The vibe is unmatched!' Dipshikkha, who has always enjoyed travelling, mentioned that she continues to travel for work too and doesn't plan to stop anytime soon. 'I absolutely love it. Travel recharges me.' From spontaneous flights to heartfelt honours, Dipshikkha's U.S. trip was not just about sightseeing—it was about connection, celebration, and embracing life beyond the sets. Exclusive - Dipshikkha Nagppal: Always happy to be a part of films that touch upon sensitive issues

Dipshikkha Nagppal will soon be seen in a movie titled Kesar, which also features Arbaaz Khan and Bhumika Chawla . The movie revolves around a cancer patient and her journey, and the actress shared that she prefers to be a part of such movies that leave people inspired. Talking about why she accepted the project, she said, 'The moment the role was offered to me, I immediately said yes. My character is full of life but has her own story, and I felt deeply connected to it and how I support Bhumika's character. The fact that the film deals with how to motivate cancer patients and help them feel normal really moved me. I'm always happy to be a part of films that touch upon sensitive issues or contribute to humanity or women empowerment and societal awareness. ' Her character in the movie is a happy, bubbly person who has her own sad backstory, but she doesn't let it affect her present. She further said, 'She's emotionally attached to Bhumika's character and her family. When Arbaaz's character asks her to help bring happiness to Bhumika's life, she jumps in and becomes a part of their lives like family.' 'It's not a typical negative role—rather, it's very human and layered. She hides her pain but keeps smiling and supporting others,' she added. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Giao dịch vàng CFDs với mức chênh lệch giá thấp nhất IC Markets Đăng ký Undo The character resonated well with Dipshikkha, as she herself is someone who hides her pain behind her smile. She added, 'Like my character, I've also lost my parents at a young age, and I deeply value health and emotions. This role reminded me how important it is to not ignore your personal life or health. So there's a lot of Dipshikhha in this role—emotionally strong, positive, and supportive.' She also mentioned that Kedar stands out because of the emotional depth it has. 'Earlier, people often cast me in negative, strong roles—like the strict or khadus woman. But lately, I've been getting positive roles with emotional depth, and I'm loving it. Also, shooting for a film gives a different kind of kick—it's not about the budget, it's about the format. That 70mm experience is something else,' Dipshikkha ended. Exclusive - Dipshikkha Nagppal on why she swears by the practice: Yoga keeps me grounded and glowing

For actress Dipshikkha Nagppal, yoga isn't just a fitness routine—it's a spiritual discipline and a non-negotiable part of her daily life. While the actress also hits the gym, does Pilates, and loves experimenting with strength-based workouts, yoga remains her foundation for both physical and emotional well-being. 'Yoga has been my anchor,' says Dipshikkha. 'Even on packed shoot days, I try to squeeze in at least 20 minutes of practice. It keeps me calm, centered, and energetic—something that gym or Pilates alone can't give me.' Her journey with yoga began early, and it wasn't just a passing phase. 'In my boarding days, we were taught all the different types of yoga asanas, and I developed the habit back then. Since 4th standard, I have been doing yoga regularly,' she shares. It's this consistency over the years that has made yoga second nature to her. Despite a tight schedule that includes long hours on sets, she has found a way to blend multiple workout forms without compromising her commitment to yoga. She balances her routine smartly—reserving gym and Pilates sessions for alternate days while beginning most mornings with pranayama and light stretches. 'Yoga doesn't give overnight results—it works slowly, but the effects are deep and long-lasting,' she admits. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Buy Brass Laxmi Ji Idol For Wealth, Peace & Happiness Luxeartisanship Shop Now Undo 'It's about alignment, awareness, and inner strength. Once you start feeling that shift mentally, your body begins to follow.' Before heading to set, Dipshikkha makes it a point to practice Anulom Vilom and Bhramari Pranayama. 'Just a few minutes of breathing can change your whole approach to the day. It clears my head and helps me stay patient and focused while shooting.' Physically too, yoga has made a significant impact. 'It has improved my flexibility, posture, and even my digestion,' she adds. But the real magic, she insists, lies in the peace it brings. 'My mental health has definitely improved and I feel more in tune with myself.' Her go-to posture to stay fit? 'I love Trikonasana (triangle pose) and Vrikshasana (tree pose). They look simple but engage the entire body and mind.' On International Yoga Day, Dipshikkha has a simple message: 'Yoga isn't about bending into crazy poses—it's about bending toward a better version of yourself. Even if it's just ten minutes a day, show up for yourself. That's where transformation begins.' Deepshikha Nagpal Breaks Silence on 'Koyla' Scene Controversy

Dipshikkha Nagppal Says Shah Rukh Khan Was 'Rude' To Her On Koyla Sets: 'It Hurt My Ego'

'When Shah Rukh came, he was smoking. So Rakesh ji came in and said, 'Do you know Dipshikkha?' He said, 'She is a fantastic actress.' Rakesh ji was very impressed with me. Shah Rukh said, 'Yeah, let's see.' It hurt my ego. He was so rude. I was like, 'This is Shah Rukh. I love him.' Then I took it as a challenge." She remembered how nervous she felt before filming her first scene with the superstar. 'My first scene was that I am dying in his arms. So I was nervous wondering how it will happen," she shared. Though the scene was eventually removed from the final cut, it stayed with her. 'I remember the scene. I can still smell his aura." Shah Rukh never revealed it. That's his greatness." She noted that while they became friendly during future projects, she always remained focused on her work. 'Later, we became friends but I would only pay attention to my work. I would work with dedication and maybe, he noticed that but he recommended me for Baadshah. I didn't know that."
