BEHIND THE ABSTRACT: Exploring Adrian Gabriel Dumitru's Hidden Messages and Reflections on Identity
In the realm of modern introspective literature, few authors provoke as much thoughtful self-questioning as the Romanian Adrian Gabriel Dumitru. His Kindle series, now including BEHIND THE ABSTRACT: … there is always a message (Love Essays … contradictory perceptions / Book 10), stands as a powerful reminder that what we see is often far removed from the truth that lies beneath. With the book available on Amazon, Google Play Books, and Apple Books, Dumitru continues his mission to guide readers toward deeper self-reflection, spiritual growth, and an honest look at the duality of the mind. Born in Romania, Adrian Gabriel Dumitru—often simply credited as Adrian Dumitru—has built a unique legacy in reflective essays that examine the quiet spaces within our minds. He weaves together ideas of illusory thoughts, inner conflict, and the illusion of identity into essays that feel like personal conversations with the reader. At the heart of his writing is an urgent desire to awaken our mindful awareness to the hidden messages embedded in everyday life. Unlike typical self-help books, Dumitru's BEHIND THE ABSTRACT is both subtle and provocative. The essays don't spoon-feed answers. Instead, they pose questions that challenge you to consider your own identity crisis, contradictory thoughts, and the fragile nature of human consciousness. Through these philosophical reflections, Dumitru creates a space for self-therapy through writing, a practice he passionately believes can unlock authentic personal transformation. A core idea in Dumitru's work is that life is coded with hidden messages—signs we often overlook in our rush for certainty. By slowing down, observing patterns, and practicing pattern recognition, we begin to decode these clues and gain insights into the deeper abstract meaning of our thoughts and actions. This journey reveals the paradox at the heart of existence: the tension between perception vs reality. Dumitru believes this tension is not a problem to be solved but a truth to be accepted. Modern life encourages us to build strong personal brands—clear, fixed versions of ourselves to present to the world. Dumitru argues that this is an illusion of identity. Beneath the roles we play lies a shifting mindscape of illusory thoughts and inner conflict. In BEHIND THE ABSTRACT, Dumitru challenges us to sit with these illusions, to explore them through self-reflection, and to embrace the existential thinking that arises when we admit how little we truly know about ourselves. Although Dumitru's book tackles complex ideas like the duality of the mind and human consciousness, it never strays far from its subtitle: Love Essays. Love, for Dumitru, is the thread that binds these contradictions together. It is through love—whether for a person, an idea, or the universe itself—that we find the courage to face our identity crisis, work through contradictory thoughts, and pursue spiritual growth. A defining feature of Dumitru's approach is his belief in writing as a tool for healing. His essays model how to turn writing into a mirror—reflecting our mind and emotion, revealing our inner conflict, and slowly transforming confusion into clarity. By practicing self-therapy through writing, readers can move beyond passive reading into active personal transformation. It's not about arriving at final answers but about becoming comfortable with the questions themselves. One of the book's most liberating insights is its embrace of contradictory thoughts. Dumitru insists that we do not need to force tidy resolutions. Instead, we can live in the tension between opposing ideas—seeing this not as weakness but as the birthplace of wisdom. This mindset fosters mindful awareness, a state in which we observe thoughts and feelings without judgment, recognizing that truth often lives between extremes. At a time when quick answers are just a search away, Dumitru's work reintroduces the art of existential thinking. He invites readers to look beyond their immediate struggles, to question the nature of reality, and to embrace the vastness of human consciousness. His essays remind us that it is possible to hold multiple truths at once—to accept uncertainty as a natural part of life's journey. If you are ready to explore the deep questions of your own mind and heart, BEHIND THE ABSTRACT is a perfect starting point. You can find it now on: Amazon Kindle Google Play Books Apple Books In the end, BEHIND THE ABSTRACT is more than a book. It's an invitation from Adrian Gabriel Dumitru—the Romanian voice of modern philosophical essays—to step away from the noise and sit quietly with your own thoughts. Through its exploration of illusory thoughts, the illusion of identity, dualities of the mind, and the timeless struggle of perception vs reality, this book offers a gentle but powerful reminder: beneath the abstract, there is always a message waiting to be heard. 'Spiritual Essays – Contradictory Perceptions': A Soul-Searching Kindle Series from a Modern-Day Spiritual Thinker
Adrian Gabriel Dumitru, a Romanian essayist and spiritual thinker, has completed his ambitious 'Contradictory Perceptions' Kindle series—a collection of 20 books that delve into the paradoxes of human consciousness, love, and inner transformation. With essays that resonate on a deeply personal level, Dumitru offers read ers a mirror to their internal complexities. Each volume in the series stands alone as a philosophical meditation. Themes range from love's contradictions and the illusion of change to how we embrace—or resist—the nonsense that patterns our lives. In his 19th installment, PRACTICING … THE NONSENSE … AS AN ART , Dumitru invites readers to perceive chaos not as a force to fear, but as an unexpected teacher. Meanwhile, Book 20, THINK … DEEPER , encourages readers to unearth beauty within life's misaligned moments and emotional turbulence. Driven by emotional honesty, the series explores love's fragility, spiritual fatigue, cognitive dissonance, and quiet healing. 'I've written many books… reflections of my contradictory thoughts,' Dumitru notes in one of his candid author reflections. 'Sometimes I smile reading what I wrote not so long ago. But I don't deny anything. Not anymore.' Dumitru's work refuses traditional genres. He doesn't prescribe solutions—instead, he invites shared contemplation. As a philosophical essayist, his voice is intimate yet poetic, deeply subjective yet universally felt. His readership spans those drawn to introspective writing and those navigating spiritual growth through ambiguity. The series' accessibility—sold on Amazon Kindle at an affordable price—reinforces Dumitru's mission: to reach everyday readers on devices they already use. Book 6 explores love's contradictions, prompting readers to examine how hopes and fears can coexist in relationships, as featured on News Channel Nebraska, which noted its emotional resonance. explores love's contradictions, prompting readers to examine how hopes and fears can coexist in relationships, as featured on News Channel Nebraska, which noted its emotional resonance. Book 20, THINK … DEEPER , delivers what reviewers called a 'transformational blueprint,' helping readers chart thoughtful lives amid disorder. Born in Bucharest, Dumitru began writing as a teenager but only embraced spiritual writing in his late 30s. His motivation is rooted in self-therapy rather than literary fame. Across Kindle, Google Play, and Apple Books, his work has garnered a loyal following—readers drawn to his authentic reflections on love, identity, spirituality, and change. Through the Contradictory Perceptions series, Dumitru presents his literary memoir of the soul—20 Kindle volumes that stand as one man's truest witness to his internal contradictions and evolving consciousness. His writing may not offer answers, but it does offer proximity: an invitation to walk the rugged path of self-awareness with curiosity and acceptance. Ranked: FIVE best Kaizer Chiefs coaches in the PSL era
Kaizer Chiefs have had some great coaches over the past 55 years, but the focus here is on the five best coaches since the inception of the Premier Soccer League (PSL). Only two coaches in the club's history have won the league title within the last 30 years, indicating a lack of consistency. While the club enjoyed success in terms of trophies since their formation, everything changed in 2015 when Stuart Baxter left, leading to a decade without any silverware. The trophy drought came to an end in May when they won the Nedbank Cup. 1. Ted Dumitru The late Romanian coach led Amakhosi to their first PSL league title in the 2003/04 season. Nicknamed 'Master Ted,' Dumitru successfully defended the title the following season in a memorable campaign. During the championship race, Amakhosi managed to overtake the season-long leaders, Orlando Pirates, in the last game of the season. Dumitru was praised for his strategic approach to matches and for inspiring Amakhosi's late-season surge. 2. Muhsin Ertugral Ertugral is one of the most iconic coaches in the PSL era. He won six major trophies during his time at Naturena and is best known for leading 'Operation Vat Alles' in 2001, which saw Chiefs clinch every cup competition in the league. 3. Stuart Baxter Baxter's first tenure saw him win four trophies with Amakhosi, and he became the second coach after Dumitru to win a league title for the team in the PSL era. He left abruptly in 2015 but returned in 2021, although he was unable to replicate the success that saw him guide the Glamour Boys to two doubles. 4. Paul Dolezar Known as 'Mr. Rothmans Cup,' Dolezar claimed three consecutive Rothmans Cups, winning two back-to-back with Chiefs. While he struggled to challenge Mamelodi Sundowns for the league title, many believe that with more time, he could have led the team to a league championship. 5. Ernst Middendorp Mazinyo's first stint with Amakhosi was a mixed experience; he won the Absa Cup and the SAA Super 8. He returned to the club a decade later in 2018 and came close to winning the league. Middendorp is one of the few Kaizer Chiefs coaches to lead the club to a second-place finish in the PSL era. Unfortunately, he was dismissed after losing the title in the final 15 minutes of the season. Let us know by leaving a comment below, or send a WhatsApp to 060 011 0211. Mom, daughter apologize for NYC parking spot brawl after ‘hundreds' of death threats — but victim isn't buying it
A mom and daughter duo charged with ganging up on a Big Apple co-ed in a slur-laced Queens parking spot brawl are being pelted with online death threats — and have now apologized for the caught-on-video melee. The alleged victim doesn't wanna hear it, she told The Post. 'I don't accept the apology only because I feel like the apologies are only because of how much outreach the video is getting and I don't think the apology is wholesome,' Pace University student Jada McPherson, 21, said Monday. LP Media 'I don't think it's from their hearts, like deep down,' she said. 'But I just hope they could see or see what they did wrong and kind of get a better understanding of how to operate or act in certain situations from this situation.' Viral video captured the July 7 scuffle in Ridgewood, when mom Andreea Dumitru, 45, and her 21-year-old daughter, Sabrina Starman — along with an unidentified man — jumped McPherson after the student tried to park in a spot the friend was holding for them. Advertisement Dumitru and Starman have been inundated with insults and death threats over the encounter since the wild video, which shows them slugging McPherson, pulling her hair and throwing her to the ground — with both sides hurling racial and ethnic epithets at each other, the footage shows. 'You're a monkey, bitch,' Dumitru is heard shouting in the video. McPherson responds, 'You're an immigrant, bitch.' Advertisement Starman then chimes in and yells, 'You're a f–king slave bitch. You're a slave for what it's worth.' In one disturbing text message the family received since the video went viral, an anonymous goon wrote, 'You ready to die? Because I'm ready to kill you and your peoples (sic). 'You will be seeing me shortly,' the text said. 'Mark my words, I am going to murder ALL OF YOU.' Dumitru and Starman, who were charged with assault and harassment, now fear for their lives. Advertisement 'I have hundreds of calls death-threatening me, telling me how they're going to come,' Dumitru said in an interview. 'I never in my life has experienced such trauma. And not only that, I have my little one and I have appointments and I have surgeries coming up. I have a dog. My mom is older. 4 Andree Dumitru and her daughter, Sabrina Starman, attacked student Jada McPherson over a Queens parking spot. 'I've been threatened. I haven't been sleeping since I got out of jail. I haven't been able to rest. I have not been eating.' The parking spot scuffle erupted outside 18-28 Putnam Ave., after the mystery neighbor agreed to hold the space by putting a garbage can there while Dumitru drove her younger son to McDonald's. When McPherson tried to park in the spot, all hell broke loose. Starman claimed McPherson started the name-calling, and suggested she started the fight. 'It was the way she approached us and provoked us for a whole 30 minutes straight,' she said. 'So, the 45-minute mark where we got arrested — because we were just only sticking up for ourselves.' Advertisement Still the mother and daughter, who had their lawyer with them when they spoke to The Post, offered an apology for the incident that now has them in trouble with the law. 4 Jada McPherson doesn't believe her alleged attackers should be getting death threats, but won't accept their apology. Jada McPherson McPherson, who is still upset about the three-on-one assault, said she feels the death threats are out of line and blows the entire incident out of proportion. 'I just feel like the death threats are unnecessary,' she said. 'I don't think the death threats are necessary. I just feel the violence, especially to [her] son, is completely unnecessary. He shouldn't be at fault for something that they did.' Advertisement Meanwhile, Dumitru said she's learned a valuable lesson from the whole mess. 'I'll never do that again,' she said. 'Ever. I learned my lesson. I will never do something like that again, and I will never condone something like that ever again. 'You want the parking? Take it. It's not worth this. This is not worth it.'

Women brawl over ‘saved' parking spot on NYC street, as locals fume over space hoarding: video
An unhinged mom and her foulmouthed daughter savagely attacked a female driver for trying to park in a spot they were 'saving' in a caught-on-video brawl in Queens. Andreea Dumitru, 45, and her daughter Sabrina Starman, 21, are seen in a viral video posted to Reddit unloading on victim Jada McPherson on a Ridgewood street Monday — pulling her hair, flinging racial slurs and unleashing a flurry of punches as she tries to fend them off. 'They were trying to literally rip my hair out of my scalp,' said McPherson, 21, a Pace University student who was renting in the neighborhood, where hoarding on-street spaces has locals fuming. Jada McPherson Starman and Dumitru were later arrested and charged with first degree assault and second degree harassment, police said. After the arrests, McPherson eventually did get to park in the spot she fought for. But she said she's been on edge ever since and has only left the house with a friend or family-member. She plans to move out of the neighborhood this weekend. 'Jumping one person for a parking space is really not right,' McPherson said.
