Eminem's Timeless Classic Becomes A Top 10 Bestseller
Eminem's 'Lose Yourself' reenters the Rap Digital Song Sales chart at No. 8 and the R&B/Hip-Hop ... More Digital Song Sales list at No. 14, nearing 500 weeks on both. (Photo by Christopher Polk/Billboard via Getty Images) Billboard via Getty Images Eminem's most recent albums and singles have all faded from the Billboard charts. These days, the rapper remains on the weekly rankings thanks solely to some of his decades-old compositions. As Americans continue to buy and stream some of the hip-hop superstar's classics, one track in particular reasserts itself as his most successful and becomes a proper bestseller yet again. "Lose Yourself" returns to a pair of Billboard rankings this frame, breaking back onto both the Rap Digital Song Sales and R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales tallies. It reenters those lists at Nos. 8 and 14, respectively. It wouldn't be unusual for a musician as celebrated as Eminem to score one or two hits in the United States, even with decades-old tunes. But what is notable is that "Lose Yourself" remains a top 10 bestseller — albeit only on a genre-specific roster. "Lose Yourself" is approaching 500 weeks on both of the charts on which it currently appears. If it can hold on for another month on the Rap Digital Song Sales tally, it will hit that milestone. While it still has several dozen more frames to go on the broader R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales ranking, it seems likely that it will eventually make it to that landmark figure as well. Amazingly, despite the fact that "Lose Yourself" has spent nearly 500 spans on both charts, it has yet to reach No. 1 on either of them. Eminem's smash has stalled in the runner-up space on both sales lists, coming frustratingly close to adding to his growing roster of champions on more than one occasion. Eminem's Oscar-Winning Smash Eminem released "Lose Yourself" in October 2002. The song served as the lead single from the 8 Mile soundtrack. The tune was a huge commercial success, ruling the Hot 100 for 12 consecutive frames and dominating multiple other rankings around the world. In addition to becoming yet another hit for the rapper, "Lose Yourself" also won Eminem several Grammy Awards and even the Academy Award for Best Original Song, making him the first rapper to snag that prize.

Montreal Canadiens acquire defenceman Noah Dobson from New York Islanders
New York Islanders defenseman Noah Dobson (8) skates with the puck during the first period of an NHL hockey game against the Florida Panthers, Sunday, March 16, 2025, in Elmont, N.Y. (Stefan Jeremiah/The Associated Press) Hours before the NHL Entry Draft, the Montreal Canadiens have made a big swing and made a move to acquire defenceman Noah Dobson from the New York Islanders. Hockey Night in Canada host Elliotte Friedman said the Islanders will get both of Montreal's first-round picks (16 and 17 overall), along with Emil Heineman. TSN Hockey Insider Chris Johnson confirmed that he signed an eight-year deal worth $9.5 million. TSN 690 Host Sean Campbell said the move means the Habs are into the next phase of the team's rebuild that began three years ago. 'It's about making the team a whole lot better,' he said. 'This is step one... I don't think that they're done. Does that mean, are they done at the draft? Are they done when it comes to free agency? We'll see, but I still think that they want to add a couple more big pieces so that they could get to that next level.' The Islanders drafted the six-foot, 200-pound, 25-year-old, right-handed defenceman from Summerside, PEI, number 12 overall in 2018. He played six seasons in Long Island. In 2024-2025, Dobson scored 10 goals and added 29 assists and was a -16 in 71 games. Dobson fills a need for Montreal on the right side. Alexandre Carrier was the only remaining right-shot blueliner on the NHL roster after David Savard retired this offseason. Defence prospects David Reinbacher and Logan Mailloux are also right shots. The trade signals another step forward in Montreal's transition from rebuilding team to playoff contender. The Canadiens, which held a top-five pick in the last three NHL drafts, exceeded expectations by reaching the playoffs last season thanks to a dramatic 15-5-6 run after February's 4 Nations break. 'They made the playoffs this year,' said Campbell. 'The idea now is you make the playoffs, but now you have success in the playoffs.' With files from The Canadian Press

Sabrina Carpenter's Breakout Hit Reaches A Year As A Radio Favorite
Sabrina Carpenter's 'Espresso' celebrates 52 weeks on the Adult Contemporary chart, while still ... More charting on the Hot 100 and Streaming Songs over a year after release. ELMONT, NEW YORK - SEPTEMBER 11: Sabrina Carpenter attends the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards at UBS Arena on September 11, 2024 in Elmont, New York. (Photo by Jamie McCarthy/WireImage) When Sabrina Carpenter released "Espresso" in April 2024, it was clear she had a hit on her hands. The tune turned out to be a career-defining smash — one that helped her finally break into mainstream consciousness. It brought her into the top 10 on the Hot 100 for the first time and earned her a Grammy just months ago. What couldn't be predicted in the spring of 2024 was just how long "Espresso" would stick around. The track is still present on half a dozen Billboard charts to this day, and it remains a huge win at radio. Sabrina Carpenter's First Year-Long Charter "Espresso" reaches a special milestone this frame as pop stations continue to show it love. The track celebrates its first full year on the Adult Contemporary chart, where it has lived for 52 weeks. It's relatively uncommon for any single to spend an entire year on a radio-focused tally in the United States, though the Adult Contemporary list — one of three centered on the pop genre published by Billboard — is known for its lengthy stays and slow climbs. 'Espresso' Remains a Top 5 Smash Amazingly, 52 weeks into its tenure, "Espresso" holds at No. 5 on the Adult Contemporary chart. Perhaps even more surprisingly, it never reached No. 1 in all of its many stays on the roster. Instead, it stalled in the runner-up spot. 'Espresso' Vs. "Feather" and "Taste" "Espresso" has stood out as Carpenter's longest-running success on the Adult Contemporary chart for some time. It has lived on the tally for twice as long as her next sturdiest tunes, as both "Feather" and "Taste" racked up 26 weeks on the list. In fact, "Espresso" has now spent exactly as much time on the tally as Carpenter's next two biggest successes combined. Sabrina Carpenter Lives Inside the Top 10 on Multiple Charts The singer's classic isn't only a top 10 hit on the Adult Contemporary tally. This frame, it dips from No. 6 to No. 7 on the Radio Songs roster, where the Grammy-winning tune has held on for 60 weeks. 'Espresso' Continues to Live on the Hot 100 Airplay remains a key factor in the track's longevity. Attention at radio stations appears to be keeping "Espresso" afloat on the Hot 100. 62 weeks into its tenure on the most competitive songs tally in America, Carpenter's cut bubbles up slightly to No. 16. The tune also lives inside the top 40 on the Streaming Songs ranking, where it ascends from No. 39 to No. 35 this frame. On both of those latter rosters, "Espresso" peaked at No. 3. While it may have been disappointing that it never reached the summit, the fact that it's still going after well over a year speaks volumes about how catchy the tune is.

Benson Boone's Radio Takeover Comes Just Before His New Album Drops
Benson Boone's 'Mystical Magical' debuts on two Billboard pop radio charts and climbs to new highs ... More on four other rankings ahead of American Heart's release. ELMONT, NEW YORK - SEPTEMBER 11: Benson Boone performs onstage during the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards at UBS Arena on September 11, 2024 in Elmont, New York. (Photo byfor MTV) Benson Boone is enjoying a particularly exciting week on the airwaves in the United States, as three of his songs are currently present on various radio-focused rankings. Each tune has its own momentum, with several of them enticing audiences and exciting them for his sophomore album American Heart, which arrives tomorrow (Friday, June 20). Nearly two months after its mid-April release, American Heart single "Mystical Magical" is just starting to reveal its staying power. This frame, the tune debuts on multiple Billboard tallies, suggesting its life on the charts may be just beginning. "Mystical Magical" lands on two of Billboard's three pop radio rankings this week, just as excitement surrounding American Heart hits its peak. The track premieres at No. 37 on the Pop Airplay chart and No. 36 on the Adult Pop Airplay list, giving Boone his sixth career placement on each of those rankings. For now, the track is absent from the Adult Contemporary chart — the third of the three pop airplay tallies — but that ranking typically moves more slowly than the others, so it could still be a win in the future. Seven weeks after its initial debut on other rankings, "Mystical Magical" also hits new peaks on four Billboard charts simultaneously. The track climbs to previously unseen highs on the Hot 100, Streaming Songs chart, and both of the company's worldwide rankings at the same time. It's a huge week for the American Heart cut, which slips on just one tally, the Digital Song Sales chart. After spending a month as a bestseller, the track appears ready to depart the list. As "Mystical Magical" gains traction on the airwaves, Boone's previous single "Sorry I'm Here for Someone Else" earns new peaks on three of the four radio charts it appears on. The track breaks into the top 10 for the first time on the all-genre Radio Songs list, and narrowly misses hitting No. 1 on the Adult Pop Airplay chart, falling short by just one space. Meanwhile, Boone's breakout smash "Beautiful Things" remains a strong performer at radio more than a year after it debuted. The track continues to dominate the Adult Contemporary chart, holding at No. 1 67 weeks into its run. It also inches up to No. 15 on the Radio Songs list, nearly giving Boone a pair of top 10 hits on one of Billboard's most competitive rosters.

Blackpink Star Lisa Pushes Past BTS
Lisa breaks into the top five longest-running K-pop hits on Billboard's Adult Contemporary chart ... More with "Moonlit Floor" returning for an eleventh week. Lisa of BLACKPINK at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards held at UBS Arena on September 11, 2024 in in Elmont, New York. (Photo by Gilbert Flores/Billboard via Getty Images) In just a few months, Lisa has become one of the most successful K-pop musicians in the history of one of Billboard's radio charts. The singer and rapper, who originally hails from Thailand, but who rose to superstardom through her work in the South Korean music industry as one-fourth of Blackpink, began promoting her debut solo album Alter Ego in mid-2024, and is ongoing with at least one single still living on. As she rides the airwaves alongside Maroon 5 on the band's latest single 'Priceless,' one of her own tunes is climbing again. It's comeback helps her break out of a tie with the biggest name in K-pop history. 'Moonlit Floor' is back on the Adult Contemporary chart this week. Lisa's solo track reenters one of Billboard's three pop radio lists at No. 28. As it returns, 'Moonlit Floor' earns an eleventh stay on this tally, allowing Lisa to break out of a match with BTS's 'Butter.' The two tracks had previously been tied as the fifth-longest-running K-pop hits on the ranking, but now, as Lisa moves forward, 'Butter' — which held on for 10 frames — is pushed out of that top five. While BTS's 'Butter' may have been nudged down slightly, the South Korean boy band still lays claim to the two longest-running successes on the Adult Contemporary chart. Both 'Dynamite' and 'My Universe,' a collaboration with Coldplay, spent 20 frames on the airplay list. That achievement is nearly matched by a fellow Blackpink star, Rosé, alongside her collaborator Bruno Mars. They are just one frame away from equaling that showing with 'Apt.,' and will likely do so when Billboard refreshes its rankings shortly. 'Cupid' by Fifty Fifty remains two weeks ahead of 'Moonlit Floor,' with 13 weeks on the Adult Contemporary chart. Since Lisa's track has already fallen off the roster once, it's difficult to predict whether it will manage to match Fifty Fifty's performance and become one of the fourth longest-running wins by a K-pop star on this tally, or if it will settle for the history it's already made. This week, Lisa claims a pair of spaces on the Adult Contemporary chart, which is a major accomplishment for any K-pop musician. As 'Moonlit Floor' returns, 'Priceless' dips ever so slightly. In fact, it lands one spot below Lisa's other track, even though it has only spent three weeks on the roster.
