Satirical UK show takes ‘leaf out of the book of South Park' following Prince Harry ridicule

Writer and broadcaster Esther Krakue has reacted to Prince Harry being mercilessly mocked by the UK satirical puppet show 'Spitting Image' during its return to screens. 'I'm sure they're taking a leaf out of the book of South Park when they decided to ridicule the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and how well that went down,' she told Sky News host Danica De Giorgio. 'I'm sure that's kind of their strategy.'

Harry & Meg are the world's most boring and unprofitable couple – everything they do is so hilariously bad, expert says

ROYAL experts have slammed Harry and Meghan as the "world's most boring and unprofitable couple", claiming everything they do is so hilariously bad. Esther Krakue, royal expert, labelled the couple as "boring and unprofitable" in the latest episode of The Sun's Royal Exclusive show. The comments were made about her Netflix partnership and the eight-part docuseries With Love, Meghan, where she hosts Hollywood friends and celebrity chefs. The jams were sold under her new company, which had faced a string of setbacks before finally launching. However, royal experts had criticised her products as 'out of touch,' especially given the prices — from £11 for a jar of jam to £22 for limited-edition honey. The products were developed in collaboration with the Netflix Consumer Products group. Esther Okraku said: " I think Netflix are going to have to swallow the fact that they've invested in the world's most boring and unprofitable couple. " Spotify realised quite early on and got out early." The Royal Expert added that she feels Meghan has nothing to lose if her business fails. "I really don't think the public understands just how little is at stake for Meghan," Esther said "Like, who cares if it ever fails? "It wasn't exactly a passion project." Prince Harry and his upstart wife must be honest about their money - they've made millions from the royals It comes after Royal Author Phil Dampier claimed that Netflix is now keen to 'get some of their money back', with the launch of the items. He explained on the show: 'I think having invested $100million in the shows that they did - and the thing about Polo, which universally panned - but I mean, they've obviously made a decision. 'They're going to stick with them for the time being. 'They're going to go for it, and they're going in for a penny, in for a pound. 'And, you know, if they can get some money back with the merchandising, great.' Previously, Esther stated that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle must be 'honest' about their money, having made millions from the royal family. Kensington Palace revealed Prince William pays the highest rate of income tax on his private estate, the Duchy of Cornwall, however, the amount was not disclosed. Esther argued that if some people think the Prince of Wales should reveal the tax amount, so should his brother Prince Harry. Speaking on The Sun's Royal Exclusive show, she shared: 'It's an uncomfortable conversation that I think is completely unnecessary, and I think if you're going to have those conversations, then you might as well have them about Harry as well, he inherited, what, £10 million from the late Queen Mother.' The Sun's Royal Editor Matt Wilkinson chimed in: 'Again, that's all very secretive. We don't know the exact figures.' Esther continued: 'Exactly, but why is no one asking him? 'I mean, him and his upstart wife arguably haven't earned that money by any means. 'You know, why aren't we criticising them? Because it's just distasteful. 'And I think we should extend the same courtesy to William.' What do we know about Meghan Markle's new cooking show, With Love, Meghan? MEGHAN Markle's new Netflix documentary trailer shows her cooking with Hollywood pals. The Duchess of Sussex gave fans an insight into her show, With Love, Meghan, which airs soon. There will be eight 33 minute episodes featuring a host of Meg's various Hollywood friends trying her simple, yet "elevated", food. A montage of various clips in the nearly two-minute video showed Meghan walking through vegetable patches and fields. She was also filmed browsing florists, hand-selecting beautiful flowers for table arrangements, showing off her creative side. The Duchess even tried her hand at beekeeping, fully suited up, as she collected honey. In the exciting new trailer, Meghan shared: "I've always loved taking something pretty ordinary and elevating it. "Surprising people with moments that let them know I was really thinking of them. "I'm going to share some little tips and tricks. I see what colour I gravitate to, and everything goes from there. And how you incorporate these practices every day. "This is about connecting with friends... I love that we're doing this together for the first time. Making new friends... and just learning. "We're not in the pursuit of perfection. We're in the pursuit of joy. I have to get it totally wrong, to get it totally right." The trailer showcased many "candid" moments, from Meghan accidentally squeezing some lemon juice in her eye, to knocking freshly baked goodies off a plate. Prince Harry featured at the end of the video, embracing his wife in a warm hug.

‘Not a surprise': Jamaica urges King to support its push for slavery reparations

Writer and broadcaster Esther Krakue has discussed the Jamaican government urging the King to support slavery reparations. 'This has become sort of a cyclical occurrence. I can expect a story like this every three to six months with some sort of country asking for reparations from the UK,' she told Sky News host Caroline Di Russo. 'It's not a surprise, and we will keep seeing it.'

Meghan Markle's shows are just ‘rich housewife' hobbies – she throws mud at the wall to see what sticks

MEGHAN Markle has gone from high-profile royal events to doing 'housewife hobby' TV shows, according to a royal expert. Since stepping down as a senior royal in 2020, the Duchess of Sussex, 43, has done a number of shows with Netflix, including her cooking programme, With Love, Meghan. 5 5 She's also launched her lifestyle brand, As Ever, which included £22 honey and £11 jam. Speaking on The Sun's Royal Exclusive show, broadcaster Esther Krakue said: 'They did really well because they sold out, how many units did you actually sell? She could have sold 50 jars and if it sold out, it sold out. 'She doesn't really know what she's doing, which is fine because you can hire people that do. 'But to go from selling jam and shortbread and all of that, which has reportedly sold out, to not restocking and then kind of having this haphazard view of what you're going to do next and potentially go into fashion, she doesn't know what she's doing. 'It's just a hobby. 'But that's fine because she's rich and hot. 'There's not a single person that looks to Meghan Markle as some sort of business or commercial genius or even competent. 'She doesn't need to be.' This follows Meghan hinting she won't restock As Ever products until the start of 2026, according to Fast Company. Instead she hopes to 'take a step back, gather data from the launch, and figure out exactly what As Ever could be.' Meghan is too vacuous. Why can't she promote women in a realistic way? She told the publication: 'I want to really focus on the hospitality angle of As Ever, but as we take the learnings, we can understand what the customer's needs are seasonally.' We could see Meghan leaning more into her fashion influencing, following the launch of her 'ShopMy' pag e featuring 'a hand-picked and curated collection of the things' she loves. An array of Meghan's shirts, bags and jewellery are all pinned on her page and available to buy. The duchess was asked by the publication if she'd like to capitalise more on this interest, she said: 'The category of fashion is something I will explore at a later date because I do think that's an interesting space for me.' 5 5 Meghan's jams But the former Suits actress was forced to roll out her rebrand, As Ever, in February after being hit by a string of set backs. Her jams also featured in her eight-part Netflix docuseries With Love, Meghan, as she entertained Hollywood pals and celeb chefs. Shoppers also rushed to nab £9 teas, including lemon ginger, peppermint and hibiscus. These sold out alongside £12 flower sprinkles - promoted in endless shots throughout her Netflix show. However it has been debated whether Meghan used a 'marketing ploy' of making a 'relatively small amount available so it all gets bought and then you can say it's so popular it sold out." Meghan's As Ever products have been created in partnership with Netflix Consumer Group.
