Moby teams-up with Russian teen star for new single

Moby relished the experience of collaborating across timezones with Øneheart. The 59-year-old star joined forces with Øneheart, one of the Russian producers behind Snowfall, the TikTok hit, to record lagrange point, and Moby has admitted to loving the experience of working across borders and timezones with the young star. He said: "One of my favourite things about collaborating with Øneheart was the fact that as i was working on lagrange point as the sun was setting in Los Angeles, Dmitry was working on it as the sun was rising where he lived in Russia." Moby - whose real name is Richard Hall - observed that he worked on the track while enjoying the "perfect backdrop" in Los Angeles. The music star explained: "The fact that this quiet, spacious music was travelling instantaneously through 12 timezones and thousands and thousands of empty miles of air and space somehow created the perfect backdrop for the collaboration." lagrange point is the lead single for the album Samsara Passengers, which is a collaboration between Øneheart, Dean Korso and Leadwave - Øneheart's dad - along with guest artists. Moby has already sold more than 20 million records in his career and is credited with helping to bring dance music to a mainstream audience in the 90s. However, he acknowledged earlier this year that fame and fortune are "two of the most destructive forces on the planet". Speaking from his home in Los Angeles, Moby told Sky News: "I think fame and fortune are, probably, empirically two of the most destructive forces on the planet. I mean, if fame and fortune fixed things, Kurt Cobain and Amy Winehouse would still be making records. "I guess it's a very easy system to buy into, especially in a place like... in New York, in Los Angeles, in these big cities that are driven by ostentation and consumption and the need for external validation. It's hard to resist those temptations. But then ... you look at the consequences of that. "I'd rather try and live a rational life and not necessarily let other people's concerns dictate what my concerns should be."

‘I'll never shut up': Pedro Pascal speaks out on using his fame to take a stand on big issues

Pedro Pascal wants to use his fame to highlight big global issues. The 50-year-old actor has previously been seen championing causes such as the Free Gaza Movement by wearing Protect The Dolls T-shirts in public and posting about food blockages into Gaza on social media, and Pascal has now insisted he will 'never shut up' about issues he feels need to be addressed. Speaking with Sky News about the worries of having his statements being taken out of context, he said: 'I think it's very easy to get scared no matter what you sort of talk about. There's so many different ways that things can get kind of fractured and have a life of itself really.' He added: 'It's sort of a business part of the way media can work really. There's one thing that you can say and no matter what your intention behind it, it is absolutely lost in all of these different headlines, I suppose, but I'll never shut up.' Pascal can next be seen in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) blockbuster The Fantastic Four: First Steps, where he stars as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic. The movie - which also stars Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/The Human Torch and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing – follows the titular family as they gain extraordinary powers after a cosmic accident during their exploration of outer space. As they grapple with their new identities, the Fantastic Four must unite to stop the rising threat of Galactus (Ralph Ineson), who is hell-bent on destroying the Earth. Since becoming a Hollywood A-lister, Pascal has had to find new ways to manage his anxiety, and has revealed that speaking with other people helps his mental health - something he discovered during the Covid-19 pandemic. He told Men's Health: 'I notice, especially during this period of the summer 2020, and the kind of isolation and how long my FaceTimes were, and my phone conversations, that I had started to make an effort to engage more, having previously lost that option in many ways. 'I can think back on high school, and college, and I was always such a talker with friends. Conversations on the phone, and then I don't know how many days had gone by where we stopped doing that.'

New South Park episode hilariously skewers Paramount over Trump settlement

Sky News host James Morrow has reacted to a hilarious clip from South Park which pokes fun at the US President and Paramount's settlement with Donald Trump. 'The South Park episode everyone is talking about, the one where South Park takes on Donald Trump,' he said. 'Here's their take on CBS's 60 Minutes reporting on Trump in the wake of their settling a lawsuit filed by the president after that whole scandalously edited Kamala Harris interview they ran. 'The whole episode is hilarious by the way; it takes the mickey out of just about everyone on all sides.'
